I honestly always thought this pub looked like a real dive, but since the take over they have totally transformed this place. I would definitely go and say it's truly a hidden gem.
Lovely and freindly staff, very well spaced out seating and it isn't always too busy. Prefect for a nice quiet meal or drink.
To the rear there are more rooms. It's lovely and warm with traditional pub vibes. Sometimes if your lucky they have the fire roaring. If God forbid you're bored, they have a good collection of board games to play, from chess, guess who, Scrabble and Jenga.
To the back the stair case leads the Futher rooms which are let for private events. I haven't see it so can't comment. There's a small but very well thought-out beer garden/ smoking area.
Keep up the good work, shall return at some point to sample the food.

A true hidden gem of the city. It looks like an old-style pub from the outside, which kept me from coming in, but once I bit the bullet the first time, I can't stay away. The staff are truly lovely and friendly. There are several ales on offer and a few lagers. Guaranteed to have a good pint, and the music in the background varies and is loud enough to enjoy while quiet enough to have good conversation. The food menu is small and concise. There are various events on throughout the week and cocktails are 2-4-1 almost always. Great little pub.

Great lil place. Nice food wraps are worth a shout. And the beer battered whale fish. Nice for a date. Or social etc

Old fashion English pub with Victorian decor featuring the Peaky Blinders theme.
We popped in for lunch and I can tell you that the food was delicious.
There was a good variety of drinks, first pub I know to make beer cocktails.
The service was friendly and we felt welcomed.
I highly recommend it.

When going to the Cinema we always start here. Staff and friendly and enjoy a chat. The decor is nice and it’s a nice blend of old and new. Drinks as expected, like my other reviews could offer some Belgium beers and finer wines 😁 Looking forward to going back soon.

I've been here twice and I have to say that this pub is perfect for having a drink, a good moment and a quick bite of food as well from what I've seen at the tables.
The staff is quite kind and funny as well so they know how to keep you entartained if you have the time to.
The terrace is quite big for the size of the bar, but I didn't have the chance to take pics of it.( simple terrace).
I recommend this to anyone who likes a small quiet, enjoyable place!
Thank you.

Fantastic chilled night in Bulls Head
Great duo behind the bar - Luke and Charlie, true gents! (really organised, great communication between them, positive energy, attentive food service to others in the pub by Luke, speedy (&tasty) drinks, quick service & polite banter! )
I wish I ordered food as service was smoooooth and then I could compliment the chef tonight with this review as the smell in the bar was great from all the food!
Fab service throughout both the busy and quiet moments
Massive positive vibes! Great Thursday night
Love it!

Been there for a quick dinner with some friends and this location is absolutly amazing. Friendly staff, amazing drinks and delicious traditional food. The atmosphere sets you back in time. When you are in Birmingham you need to have a drink here.

Had the best party on Friday, 12 July 2019 at The Bull’s Head, Bishopsgate Street. Dean was really good at suggesting ideas and food. He kept in touch regularly in the lead up to it too which was helpful. The room was perfect and the food was very, very good and included a great party selection - including one of the tastiest chicken curries I’ve had. I would highly recommend this venue for a personal party/event. The staff were fun too and Dean shared some of the history as the venue is connected to the Peaky Blinders, so all the staff wear Peaky Blinders outfits which look great. THANKS GUYS you were all great fun xxxx

Old style pub offering a wide range of drinks - meals available
A. S.
Brilliant staff and great environment, one of the best pubs in Birmingham, great choice of beers, also has a good smoking area out back.

Our two hosts on Wednesday night were outstanding people people, pub is super traditional, a treasure.

First visit to The Bulls Head pub just off Broad Street in Birmingham City Centre. Pub has a Peaky Blinders theme with staff in period costume. The main attraction for us was the Tuesday Blues Club upstairs. On the evening we visited, there was an American singer/guitarist called Brooks Williams who performed a selection of different types of blues music, Country, Delta, Texas, Piedmont, Chicago etc and gave a brief description of them and their origins. A truly stunning guitar player. A fabulous night. Will definitely be returning.
t.
Amazing little pub. The snug is fabulous. Thd staff are friendly. Looking forward to returning.
D.
Lovely range of davenports real ales and a wonderful mild which is always nice to see.
C. F. B.
Beautiful traditional pub with a peaky blinders influence. Great craft beer and cocktails, wide range of gins, amazing food (food is well above average). With broad street just around the corner this an awesome spot for pre drinks, before the cinema, and for anyone who is looking for an authentic Birmingham experience and amazing service.
M. W.
Atmospheric pub with live music. Amazing vegetarians options. I had a veggi burger with halloumi and would definitely recommend it.
K. K.
Loved this place. good food, great beer, and even better people. They took great care of me here and can't wait to come back.
P. J.
First visit today. Lovely old traditional pub serving great cocktails. Will be back soon to try the food And Live music.
M. A.
Little gem of a place in brum superb building nice beer excellent staff and the music for a tues night brilliant 👏
P. O.
Like stepping back in time. A lovely pub surrounded by the Five Ways complex. Built I believe in 1901 and despite the changes that have gone on, it is still there.Well worth a visit.
M. S.
A nice old fashioned Davenport's pub where the bar staff look really smart and offer great service.Drinking real ale in a dimpled handled glass really takes you back.Great to see the old white tiles and the coloured leaded lights again too.Sunday afternoons a bit quiet until the live music starts but it's a really interesting pub.
A.
Great drinks and looked after by the staff
A. T.
Love this pub! Have often been here after work and on weekends. Staff are friendly, beer selection vast and delicious and the COVID-19 precautions make it feel a safe environment. Definitely a gem in an otherwise naff broad street area.
D. P.
Really friendly, Jack was a great host and definitely will be back soon.
Even the bouncer made us feel welcome. Thank you all . Debbie n John
J. T.
Great food, good beer range and friendly. Looking forward to going back. Also note there is more seating out the back.
A. A.
Brilliant Victorian pub with own brews and general pub fare. The quality is exceptional and the prices reasonable, particularly for the Birmingham city centre.
M. W.
Staff very smart and helpful the food was delicious and I loved all the candles on every table and they even had a snug lovely decor and really old fashioned decor but it looked expensive.
H. S.
I went there Saturday and I can honestly say the pub was beautiful and the staff there are amazing, the man behind the bar making our cocktails clearly knows his stuff! and can I just say a particular thank you to the lady with the blue hair who was extremely accommodating and friendly. I Would definitely recommend paying here a visit.
L. R.
Amazing bar, went for cocktails upstairs, then finished off in the pub downstairs, staff are amazing, cocktail range is fantastic
C. F.
Love this pub. Full of character with friendly staff and great food and drinks.
J. G.
Fantastic pub lovely food too 😋 good selection of food and drink lovely staff very helpful and friendly 5*****service
G. H.
Great place to chill. Went on Saturday. Cut price Cocktails, great guy from the States sang and played acoustic guitar. It's like a good local bar a stones throw off Broad Street. Good mixed crowd.
m. c.
i eat there daily Monday to Friday. outstanding food and staff. the pub,the music and the atmosphere are the best. see you tomorrow lads. 👍
T. M.
We hired the upstairs function room for my 40th birthday and I am absolutely delighted with the service we received - just outstanding from start to finish.
The room is fantastic - just the right size and style (can hold up to 80 but somehow didn’t seem too empty with just 30).
Awesome food - we went for a curry package with Kati rolls. Excellent price and quality. No minimum bar spend and refundable deposit - that is really hard to find in Birmingham city centre.
Excellent staff, and all you could ask for in terms of sound system and other media options. There is even a dance floor!
Well done Bull’s Head - you really made this a stress free and special night 😊
L. F.
Always loved this place, having a rhubarb cocktail and it's delicious.
Lovely staff, very clean here and ladies bathroom just beautiful and very clean.
A. A.
Great venue, great people.
Love the cool Peaky Blinder theme, the live music on Tuesday nights.
We were completely blown away by Dean's knowledge of the beer, ale, its making and history. Happy to go back any time.
J. C.
Honestly such a lovely pub! Such friendly staff, brilliant drinks (mainly ale!) and at such low prices! If your a Peaky Blinders fan, there is no better place then the Bulls head!
G. B.
This is a top notch pub. Reasonably priced booze, decent music played at low volume and, most importantly, staff who are engaged, enthusiastic and friendly. Overall, a well-run boozer that's well worth a visit. Go there. It'll do you good.
C. P.
Fantastic roast dinner! Made our Sunday and good value! Definitely worth a visit!
D. H.
Friendly staff, well priced quality beer and a nice "vibe"!
M. M.
Beautiful restored Victorian pub. A hidden gem
D. A.
Nicely refurbished a few years back, returning this pub to its former glory. Good selection of local Davenports ales (and the cocktails seem popular as well but not really my area) as well as interesting and good value Indian street food. Well worth a visit.
B. T.
Really nice pub. They have gone big with the peaky blinder theme but pull it off thanks to the quality decor and great friendly bar staff decked out in authentic threads. Some of the best Real ale in Brum too is Davenport's.Highly recommended to pop in either pre or post flick at the adjacent cinema for a proper pint.
M. D.
Very friendly and atmospheric traditional pub with excellent beers at competitive prices.
J. L.
Lovely pub, good music, environment and beer. Didn't try the food but it looked nice.
J. T.
Lovely, traditional, warm, welcoming pub xx
C. Y.
Absolutely loved this pub it's been done out in the peaky blinders theme to a really high standard, great choice of ales and other tipples the staff were very friendly it was such a treat can't wait to go back.
N. D.
Had some lovely cocktails, they have a great range of craft beers and offered in-depth advice on drinks. Really friendly staff all dressed like 1920’s peaky blinders to give an authentic experience, saw that they a bit of work with the series I can’t wait to go back and find out some more!
D. C.
A nice trad pub in a busy part of Brum. A choice of Davenport ales. Good staff. What's more free live music every Tues and now Fridays too. Hey and bit of a Peaky Blinder theme there as well.
A. B.
Fantastic pub (slightly out of place on Broad Street!) with superb music and great food.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food (recommend the masala fries!) and the brilliant, chill rock.
We particularly loved Marcelle, who was not only a great bar man, but a really nice guy!
V. S.
This bar has got character!
............................................................................>👇🏻
It will be a little expensive for some but it is a very nice atmosphere.
............................................................................>👇🏻
Great range and great quality beer, craft and cask ales.
............................................................................>👇🏻
2 for 1 on cocktails "By order if the Baron" and the cocktails are very nice!

We held a themed awards party for work in the function room upstairs and everyone had a great time. The DJ that was arranged was very good and kept everyone entertained. The cocktails were AMAZING and the two team members behind the bar were both very helpful, friendly and efficent. Would not hesitate to recommend the venue and would definitley hold another party there.
J.
Fantastic selection of drinks. Friendly atmosphere and good for a quiet pint or small groups. Lovely atmosphere inside with great staff. Live music playing when I went and wouldn't hesitate going back.
H. C.
The Pub it's self is great, renovated to maintain the period feel of the pub. The real ale was running out and was not great, food was ok for the price. Overall all average and could be so much better with good beer
S.
amazing craft beer bar, great real ale, the food is really goo value for money. i would highly recommend any beer or peaky blinder enthusiasts to come check it out. a real great taste of birmingham culture.
S. G.
Fantastic little find the food was lovely and the cocktails were even better. A great selection of fine ales with such a relaxing and atmospheric surrounding. Would recommend 100%
M. B.
Especially great place to go. Decor and most importantly pints are first class. Fab food too and staff are always helpful and nice. Fyi the sweet potato fries portion is huge and will make a couple happy.
J. M.
The last time I went to this venue it was the called the city tavern.. with its new name and newly refurbished I loved it
..the staff were friendly helpful and fun. The range of beers and ales were plentiful..Will be going back to try their meals...fantastic night out...did I mention the music👏👏👏
D. B.
One of my favourite pubs here. They have s good selection of beers and gins, the atmosphere is good and they often play good indie / rock music. Sometime they have gigs as well.
A. S.
Fantastic building with original decor, a good range of ale served by a peaky blinders. Good atmosphere up stairs for the rock night made better by meeting Ian the goat up their, great night looking forward to coming back 👍🤘
D. E.
A proper pub with proper beer and good friendly bar staff
A. M.
Bostin little boozer! This is a really good little pub, just off Broad St. Fantastic selection of beers, excellent food that is brilliant value for money and a great atmosphere all in a Victorian setting, well worth a visit.
I've been here twice over the last couple of weeks before going on to gigs and can't fault it. I'll definitely be back back!
W. E.
I booked The Bull's Head for a group of 10 guys for a stag weekend. The staff were incredibly welcoming, giving us the back room which we basically had to ourselves. The food, beer and cocktails were great and very well priced with the customer service being exceptional. I can't recommend The Bull's Head enough.!
D. N.
Wow! Love this place. Fantastic well kept beers and drink. Friendly staff. Beautiful old surroundings. Really special. Feel like you are on the set of Peaky Blinders.
L. A.
Really lovely little boozer. Great drinks, good value, lovely decor. Sometimes a bit of tinkly piano music (well, keyboard, it's quite a small pub!). Love it.
D. W.
Nice pub, good selection of beers and spirits but staff not really on it. They under measured every spirit ordered and short poured every pint in the group. It was either well trained, or genuinely naive?
C. W.
If you are of a certain age and remember what pubs used to be like. When bar staff were friendly and you could have a conversation and still hear yourself think ...then this place is for you ..great beer ..great atmosphere ..and simply a great place to chill out and chat to your friends or make new ones ..
H. K.
I went out with my mom and sisters expecting something average. However i was So amazed with everything that i have been since advising family/friends to visit too. The food was so delicious we were full on the starters alone, but still had to try the mains again so tasty can't beat it honestly amazing twist to the food, along with the atmosphere decor and staff all Fab and welcoming, would without doubt recomend to all and everyone must try!
C. B.
I really liked this small Davenport's pub. Nice ales and friendly staff. Just far enough off Broad Street to be away from the madding (aka drunk) crowds.
S. L.
Not what I was expecting for a 'boozer' around the back of Broad Street. A great Garrison (Peaky Blinders) themed pub with some great larger, beer and ales to choose from. Nice friendly atmosphere and always seems to have a good crowd in there.
J. H.
Recently taken over by davenports who are making a comeback in the city. Nicely done modern looking but with lots of old pictures and bits around to show the history of both davenports and what I believe is a listed building. Pretty good smoking area. Very good happy hour discounts, friendly, fun staff as well.
P. C. B.
A great boozer!! Very Peaky Blinderesque.... A Davenports run establishment that gives you a cosy feel that I think you’ll come back too. Cracking staff that will welcome you in.
Craft ales, gins and cocktails and decent food too.
Don’t pass it by.
PB 👌🏻
K. R.
visited here a couple of weeks back and loved the place. The barman Keith was excellent and really was convincing in his peaky blinder outfit he was also very chirpy and really made it a good night for me and my friends
G. S. S.
Set in a grade 2 listed building, many fail to notice or even realise this place exists as it falls behind Broad St.
It is not the largest of places so at peak times it can get very busy. There's ample parking places available but all paid. Free parking available on side streets after 6pm.
The place has a very traditional feel and has been restored well.
N. E.
Great to see a Davenports pub. Friendly staff and very clean bar. Short on choice of ale on my visit but will go again.
J. L.
As always a fabulous Public House. It is like stepping into a time machine and travelling back to the Peaky Blinders era. If you are a fan of the show pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed
A. G.
Lovely pub, but disappointed no Davenports original bitter! I find most beers just too "hoppy" for my taste thesedays including the IPA. I like beer the way it used to be; the bitter is spot on.
D. R.
I love it, it's small quiet Monday Thursday and in the winter they have a real fire. The selection of beer isn't extensive (it's a Davenport pub and half the beer is davenports) and at weekends they have 'entertainment' which can be intrusive.
I. O.
Took a wrong turn after work and just popped in by accident. Ended up staying there for many pints, food and awesome pub quiz. If you're a Peaky Blinders fan this is a must. Try the RIP IPA and the Baron's pie!
M. B.
Lovely pub! Very glad it's my local!
D. S.
Great old fashioned pub with good selection of drinks. Staff very pleasant and friendly had a good night .
C. W.
Small well run pub with a very good range of beverages. Friendly bar staff. Gents toilets small, very clean with soap and hot water. Go there, try the place, you will like it.
B. P.
Bostin ! Traditional corner pub ! Great beer and food and the restoration of the building is a great job well done . Enjoyed the new years eve music
V. R.
Meticulosly restored pub of the second oldest and still running B'ham enterprise. All these history - illegal bareknukle fights used to be held there back in the 20s. The backroom of this pub was frequented by the local gangsters who inspired the Peaky Blinders creators. The Peaky Blinders cast used to dine at this pub while the TV show was filmed in B'ham. The spirit of the Shelbys is everywhere. And, oh my, the Dacenports' Nitro beer they serve is a must. The staff at The Bulls Head care so much about the history of this place. This place is so worth a visit!
K. G.
The best cocktail service i have ever received. ......immaculate drinks and service. For front of British taste performance and personal service! My favorite cocktail vendors.

S. G.
Nice pub with a selection of real ales and also does cocktails. Food is really good, excellent quality for the price.

We love this place, we have the 2 for 1 cocktails 👍after I have had a beer. It is very popular and rightly so.
UPDATE ; what no peaky blinders or el pablo cocktails any more (still in the website) 😭😔majorly disappointed, only slightly redeemed by music, and staff who look more peaky blinder than ever (in a good way). Bring back the el pablo and peaky blinders 👍

Posto carino, servizo veloce, anche se non vi era molta gente, quindi forse nel fine settimana potrebbe esserlo di meno. Prezzi nella media
