L. K.Brilliant atmosphere and very good quality food. I love the chicken battered fingers but they unfortunately stopped doing the buffalo sauce which was a shame, but have plenty of alternatives.
Service was smooth.
My family had a very nice time.
Disabled friendly here with access to a toilet was a massive help.

R. E.Always had hot fast and lovely food with great customer service. Normally I visit with my big family and we all have a great time. One employee in particular is amazing! Andy always greats us and helps us in any way. Always so friendly and puts a smile on my family’s face. Such a lovely man and one of many reasons we visit so often.
A. G.Can't fault it - except the bar service. If you want just a drink you have to queue in a line behind people who are ordering food (which can be very lengthy).
However, the food was good and tasty and the setting is fine. There is a nice outdoor seating area too. I would certainly visit again.

A. M.This is a complete middle of the road modern suburban pub restaurant. Nothing exceptional really however the food is great value for money and the base quality is surprisingly high. The staff make the place though, lovely friendly cheerful. Always feel at home here.

Food is brought out by a waitress called Ellie who has fantastic customer service and always very friendly and accommodating if we need something. Especially on 2 for 1 Burger Fridays.

It can be somewhat loud at times - but it's a popular busy place so that is to be expected
1. 2.Normally quite a good place to go but unfortunately this time it wasn't ordered starters but had to wait 2hrs later for our main so was a bit annoyed with it being a birthday party there and eating our dinner whilst the cake is being presented.
Did get back money for the two for one offer tho.

D. I.Only popped in for a drink. Table needed to be cleaner (sticky), menu's grubby and chair well worn. Hole in armrests so caught sleeve on wood poking through. Better places in area for same price range.
C. D.Went to order a salad with salmon which was new on the menu, they had no salmon, so we decided to have the chicken with salad! It came with lettuce and Spanish onion, no tomatoes, no cucumber and no shredded vegetables as on the menu!!
Told the waitress she went and asked in the kitchen and they said they hadn't got any! Felt like telling them to go to sainsbury's!! We got a free drink but who runs out of tomatoes and cucumber!

A. D.Lunchtime visit. Not overly busy. Chap behind the bar set the expectations well with about a 30 minute wait for food, but it arrived after about 15. The prices were very reasonable especially as we had been emailed a 33% off voucher for signing up with the chain for offers. Three mains and three drinks (two tap water) for £15. Not bad! Food was well received, looked and tasted Good. Bit skimpy on the chips bit it was lunch after all. The burger made up for this.

R. J.I ate the quadzilla burger. It was delicious. The nacho cheese sauce made it. Friendly staff and clean dining area only really let down by no soap in the gents' toilets dispenser. Hopefully a one off. French fries were amazing no holding back on the onion rings and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Well recommended and situated in a shopping park that offered three hours free parking.

T. W.A very pleasant "new" pub and the regenerated Longbridge site. Nicely laid out inside (I also enjoyed a drink outside during the summer) with plenty of space. Part of a chain, so not a unique experience, although some flourishes in the decoration made me smile.
The food was served hot and the portions were generous, although probably not freshly made. The menu had a good selection and a gluten free menu was available to order off. Everything was very affordable.
Big screen TV's dotted around the pub (especially on the mezzanine), will probably make this good destination for streamed sports events. The window walls at the front look like they can be slid open, this would be fantastic in warm weather.

A.Our first visit to The Cambridge was unfortunately not very positive, the restaurant had only just reopened their doors to the public as well as taking on new staff due to the struggles with covid. Everything was a little all over the place and a little rushed being a Saturday night, unfortunately this meant that the customer service just wasnt as it should have been. After speaking to Richard the manager, who I must say took the time to listen and take on board our feedback, we were invited back to give them another try. We were absolutely amazed at the reception and service we recieved this evening! The food was delicious, hot and just looked incredible!! The portion sizes were huge and the customer service was spot on. We dined outside being a beautiful evening, such a relaxing atmosphere and a nice view of the sun setting. I couldnt fault anything with our experience tonight and very much look forward to visiting again in the very near future. These guys and girls really do work very hard to provide a great service to us the customer and everyone was super friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Thankyou all very much!
J. -.Me and freinds use this venue on Monday night after a gym workout to take advantage of the £5 steak deal that is on I have had a couple of steak which have been done perfectly unfortunately this time it was well done after sending it back the second one came out even more weel. Done 😂 we was offered a free desert which I wasn't interested in. Then the manager finaly gave a refund for the two meals I hope next time the chef is upto scratch on how steaks are cooked otherwise my Monday gym steak will be a thing of the past...

A. G. E.I loved the place. The food is really delicious and the portions are big so it's good value for money. It's very family friendly place where you can take your kids there. There're some tables with special screen to play cartoons for kids while having your meal or chat with friends.

On arrival, we had to scan the pubs own track and trace instead of the nhs one, then complete a form on my phone. This took a while! The people before me didn’t have a phone so had to fill out a paper form. We wore masks and I tried the hand gel on the wall but it was empty (there were others) so I used my own.
We were led to our table and explained that we could use the app to order. I hadn’t already downloaded it so had to download and then register to be able to book, it was a bit of a pain so I suggest you set this up before you visit. The table was booth style and had a tv in with CBeebies subtitled for the children which was a nice touch even though my. It’s are a little too old for CBeebies.
The menu is cheap and there are deals although I don’t think we got the deal i was expecting. We were there for breakfast which is served till 12:00 and we got there about 11.30. This pub serves actual Coca Cola rather than Pepsi which was a bonus.
The food came in good time just after the drinks and the portions were decent- the kids meals are good value.
The food itself is quite bland- tasteless bacon, mass produced sausages and barely grilled tomatoes which were cold. The beans were decent though. We had to ask for sauce (ketchup and brown - they don’t do things like Tabasco) and when they were brought over they were in small tubs and there was not enough for all four of us.
While we were eating, my son dropped his knife and I called a waitress passing to ask for another - she was very nice about it and got us a replacement immediately with a smile (I think- she had a mask on!). We were given plenty of time to finish and then they collected our plates. All the staff were very pleasant.
Overall, it was ok, the place, staff and organisation was great, but the food really let it down - I know it is cheap so not to expect too much but there are other similar pub chains where the food is much better quality for same price.

There was a lot of drilling going on due to work next door and all the staff managed to re sit our big group of 16 people for my daughter's birthday. The staff couldn't do enough and were so helpful and welcoming...very kind and we thank you for a lovely evening. The food was also lovely and fantastic prices....everyone happy. I ordered a dessert for my 6 year old sister, and they didn't have the strawberries what was needed, however they made the effort to come out to quickly rectify the issue and offered an alternative that was probably more up my sister's street anyway!

D. C.A great place for family meal time. We chose two of the £15 share platters, what a bargain!!! There was more than enough for us all, four adults and two children. Just when we thought we couldn't eat any more, along came two massive ice cream sundaes!!! We had forgot that they was also included in the price. The staff were very helpful and polite, making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to go again.

M. H.7 out of our 8 meals today were good value for money. One the beef was very dried up and tough. Unfortunately now that they have changed from waitress service to ordering at the bar the personal service has gone. Much nicer to have a waitress serving the table and checking that all is ok.
S. S.Restaurant was very busy on the last day of EOTHO but they were brilliant. My children wanted milk but there wasn't any so a server went to Sainsbury's to get them some. Gestures like that are so greatly appreciated

W. P.Came here for a quiet drink and catch up with a couple of friends . Drinks were ok . We decided on sharing a couple of pitchers and these were reasonably priced, albeit the second one we ordered the bar tender gave us Coke Cola glasses to drink out of because they said they hadn't any other small straight glasses available.
We couldn't find a table on the over 18 side that was clean. We had to gather up other people's plates/ Glasses and put them on another table that was also cluttered. And clean up the food debris and the wet table with one of the used paper napkins that had also been left by the previous customers, it did not appear busy on our arrival so cannot understand why basic clearing of tables was not done. The three stars reflect that I had a nice quiet evening with my friends and the drinks we chose were nice, but I would hesitate on using the Cambridge again I'm afraid.
H. B.Food is good, hot and generally really speedy service. Their daily deals are good value (curry and a drink for under £6 a head on wednesdays is great and the family deals are fab value) toilets could do with a bit of a spruce up, but otherwise a nice place.
P. R.we visit here fairly regular because it is local. The food is average, portions arent the best compared to other hungry horse restaurants. The staff are mainly quite young and the service isnt always the best. Parking can be a nightmare during peak times. there is an upper level to this restaurant but I never see it open.

c. w.Went today ( Sunday ) for my granddaughters 13th birthday. A party of 14. We had a corner all to ourselves which was great having 5 children in our party. We were able to open a tab at the bar so we could all order our food together which was also handy. The staff were great. The only thing that let us down was the Sunday roasts. Four of us had this . I think everything on the plate was frozen food. Nothing was actually fresh. Shame really. The other meals were fine. So my advice is don't go for the roast.

S. M.It was much easier and quicker for us to place the order at the bar than wait for the waitress to take our order. They were friendly and helpful but not available when you needed them. Took a good few minutes to receive my cutlery meaning my toast went cold and the butter wouldn't spread. My breakfast was good value for money but not exactly fresh. It's ok, good value food.
When my partner went to pay the bill they almost charged us for someone else's meals!!!! Luckily he noticed and they said this was the second time that day this had happened. Someone else had paid for our meals and we were nearly overcharged for the people that had already left.

C. S.Called to The Cambridge & ordered a 3 course meal off The Golden Oldies Menu. Very good value for the money, it worked out to about £ 6-20p each for the 3 course. The meal was very good &the staff were very helpful. Why I have given 3* though is because I came across a dried food stain on the side of my plate which meant that plate had not been washed properly from its previous use. I pointed this out to one of the staff & she apologised & said wold get the manager over to speak to me. Manager came over & apologised & offered 2 free drinks which we accepted Apparently there had been some problems in the kitchen. Anyway, we shall still go there for a meal again & hopefully the next time they will get 5*.
G. P.Nice place, good atmosphere, friendly staff who were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the fact the apple crumble had almonds in but wasn't made clear on the menu. Overall though wonderful food and no complaints.

C. B.Fairly standard restaurant pub menu as can be expected from a large chain. It's family friendly cheap and cheerful most of the time. However, on a recent visit we were very disappointed in the range of drinks on their menu that were out of stock and the training given to the staff on what goes in which drinks. Not every drink is served with 🍋 lemon, for instance Hendricks is supposed to be served with cucumber.

j. R.We opted for snack of 10 chicken wings to share with drinks. It was a little busy, but that seems to be the norm. On the day we visited 2 staff behind the bar and meal ordering, which took about 14mins to order. The food came quicker than expected and was really hot and tasteful.

My nan has been raving about the Cambridge ever since we came here, food well presented and I'm happy that my nans smaller appetite can be accommodated to as well.
