Not a pub we use regularly, visited because we were taking our grandson to Hickery Dickery soft play. We had a nice meal and drinks at very reasonable prices, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the locals seem to be a nice crowd with one even bringing our grandson some crayons and sheet of paper to draw with. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Had a really nice cold pint today in a relaxing environment with extremely polite and friendly staff..obviously Covid restrictions still apply (no mask no entry) but i was made to feel welcome and the place was busy but not crammed for an establishment that still had a good buzz of life ...yet to try the food but Jess the manager assured me that they keep to the high standards across Wetherspoons chain ...thanks Jess for making the day memorable..my rating today is 4⭐⭐⭐⭐'s but can be put to 5⭐'s if the food comes up to scratch 😎

A loverly cosy pub in great buzzing village I have been going here for years ,I took 6 of my staff for Drinks and Dinner,Our food was excellent and great value for money,We were served by a Very Tall Good Looking Smart Man called Joe who could give a Master Class in Customer Service,Joe was so polite,Helpful and Professional,He always asked if I needed any help and bought my Guinness poured to Perfection and Drinks over to our table and constantly cleared empty glasses and cleaned our table,Joe your a true Credit to The Elizabeth York you WOULD make a First Class Manager,I would not even be Surprised if you End up Running your Own Public House in the Future. Well done To Joe you have done the Elizabeth York Proud and I hope your Manager sees your hard work,I have been in this pub many times over the years and the service sometimes has been awful. A typical spoons. Food is nice, beer is excellent and very well priced. Ale good and the john Smiths apparently excellent compared to other local pubs. Service was poor. Food dumped on the table. No questions about whether it was good or not or if everything was in order. Table not cleaned. If beer is a priority I advise. If service more important, then maybe try somewhere else.

I have visited here three times before but tonight's meal was the nicest I have had there. Good value, nicely cooked & well presented. An extensive menu of traditional pub grub & a good value drinks menu. The service was, as always, friendly, polite & timely. The place was slightly less crowded tonight than previous visits but that made for a more pleasant atmosphere & as we went upstairs my friend & I managed to converse without having to shout - overall we felt more relaxed. The toilet facilities were clean, well stocked & well appointed. An altogether more enjoyable evening.

I went yesterday for Saturday afternoon beers with friends. Excellent service, it's the only wetherspoons I've walked into and been served immediately, got a good seat right in the back window and ordered a lot of drinks and each time the service was incredibly fast, bar staff are on the ball here. There is only one slight downside that is the smell of puke at the bar but obviously staff may be used to it a d probably can't smell it any more. I think this will be my new local

Another nice Spoons! The usual amazing value drinks. We had a nice chat with one of the locals. We used the car park out the back, which was handy. Nowhere else in the area is open on a Sunday morning so it was a no brainer to pay them a visit!

Used to go there quite often when I went to tree of life events and when I managed a disability organisation in the area. We met our clients there every Tuesday and over drink or a meal we discussed their issues and found solutions. People moved from residential care to their own homes Education courses were found. Benefits were in increased. The last visit was with someone with a caring issue. over a Meal we found solution. The place is cosy with friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. I always enjoy the visits

I think this pub lives up to being a Wetherspoons. It's very cheap, the food is as you would expect but I was disappointed in the state of the ales on offer. In the interest of fairness (honest!) I tried a wide range of their cask ales but I didn't think any of them were in good condition. Had this been a different pub serving the same beer it would have been a two star review but given it was very cheap.

Typical Wetherspoons environment. The place was clean and service prompt. Good choice of real ales were available, and my beer was of good quality. Nothing really to complain about, but the tables by the wall opposite the bar were poorly lit, and as often at Wetherspoons, the toilets were upstairs.

If you're lucky enough to visit this place when Pete the Feet is in town then you'll have a unique experience unlike anything I've had in a Spoons before. I even have a lighter from him as a memento. Other than that it's just a normal spoons but that isn't a bad thing.

Came in for breakfast today. One of us was missing the egg, rest of us didn't have butter because it has finished.... Then it took them 15 minutes to bring us the coffee with not spoons or sugar. We ordered lattes we got filter coffee.. in other words it could have been much better.

The only cheap place to drink in Moseley so it can be very busy and rowdy. Nothing amazing but if you are after cheap food and drink and don't mind a chain pub then this isn't the worst wetherspoon! Staff are great considering how busy it gets.

The staff wasn't moving very fast, but that's just personal opinion, kitchen on the other side was sending out dishes faster than usual.

When I was visiting Birmingham, our host brought us here for dinner on our first night (he lives nearby). I had fish and chips and an ale. It was literally the best fish and chips I've ever had. Everything was so good we ate here several times during my stay. If I ever make it back to Birmingham I will definitely dine here again.

Sian is the best bar maid on the planet by far she is delightful in every way possible I was grateful to be in her presences the other staff are ok but Sian is a revelation.....its ironic that she works in a bar because she sets the bar to high for others to even compare she's like a black belt in bar madery.....she dictates the atmosphere where ever she is and perfection is the least you will get.....
