Staff were great. If there was a swear jar for the clientele it would be full by midday. Ale was good, just a shame so many of the locals are Carling Academy. Had "All day Brunch" which was the highlight. This place has a bit of a reputation, I'd call it caracter. Il be back.

Service was fast even though the staff were very busy behind the bar. Although we did not eat here the menu was pretty nice and good value deals too. As the staff were very busy, the tables were not getting cleaned and tidied after people had had their meals. Coffee was available and I saw quite a few people taking advantage of the free refills. Tables were quite a bit too close together and rather difficult to get in and out of because of this.

Quite crowded, with 80%+ of the daytime customers being of pension age. As most Wetherspoons it is woefully understaffed. But that said, the staff I encountered were very polite and hard working. Food satisfactory, but still unable to buy any steak dishes since there supplier was be very replaced after the issue from a couple of years ago. Okay for quick pint and a meal when shopping in the bustling surrounding area.

Very nice location for a Spoons! It's 4 stars because of how friendly the staff is and how fast orders get delivered, but it's not a 5 star because every burger ever ordered out of that kitchen is completely overcooked. I don't know how they do it, but they manage to overcook every single one. Regardless, cocktails are well made, staff actually check I.D in here, which is always good. Very cosy, mostly busy, and a great place to have a pint!

Hi. The Spread Eagle has a very good range of beers and ciders plus wines and soft drinks. There is a good menu for people who want to eat at reasonable prices. The place was a bit scruffy hence only 4 stars but the staff were quite friendly and the toilets were clean.

The Spread Eagle is a part of the Wetherspoon's Chain. Situated in the middle of Acocks Green, it is regularly very busy and attracts people of all ages. There is a good selection of beer and wine available at reasonable prices. The food menu also provides a wide variety of choice and dependent on what you choose, there are regularly offers available when you buy a drink with a meal. Staff are friendly and sociable. Customers can get a little rowdy in the evenings, so I would advise drinking somewhere else if you are after a quiet evening. On occasion, some customers have had to be removed from the premises for unacceptable behaviour. The staff though are excellent at handling this.

An extremely friendly pub, with the traditional Wetherspoons offering of inexpensive food, real ales, cider and soft drinks (including plenty of attractive meal deals). I think the only problem I have with this pub is that sometimes when you come in you find ales you can get in many places. Mind you saying that you can go in there and sometimes find a gem ale hiding on a pump. When you do it is on top form. Find the chirpy staff refreshing too.

A Witherspoon's pub in Acocks Green "Village". Very popular at lunch times. The seats are abit too close together making the pub feel packed out. Could be cleaner and quieter. As always a good selection of beers and ales.

Lovely bar in Acocks green which server food including breakfast at an reason price. The bar staff are ok and are helpful. The Spread Eagle is located opposite Holy souls Roman Catholic church and Sainsburys. The Spread Eagle is walking distance from many of the shops in Acocks Green and from Acocks Green station and the 37 bus route runs past the bar.
