Reviews of The Victoria, Birmingham
S. F.
We went for the cocktail making experience and had the best time! Tim was great, explaining the history of drinks and putting up with us drunken lot! Nice venue upstairs.
T. B.
Offering 2 cocktails for £10 when we visited available until 8pm and after 11pm. Friendly staff.
C. W.
One of my favourite pubs in Birmingham city centre. It's always a chilled vibe and the staff are very friendly.
The variety of drinks is wide, and no more expensive than anywhere near by.
They have some deals on cocktails too which my partner was very happy about.
J. F.
A very pleasant traditional English pub. No frills or distractions. Just good solid beer selection from local breweries and further afield. Excellent caring, knowledgeable staff with a passion for quality products and services.
P. C.
A great theatre in the heart of the city. Parking isn't great for the venue. However there are hotels nearby. We stayed at the Malmaison which was only a 4 minute walk and there was a large carpark next to it. Shows are always very good quality too.
I. S.
Decent range of ales, but staffing level below ideal. Good stop for a halftime beer rather than scramble at the Alex.
C. D.
A nice old pub. No food but a good selection of beer and cider. Good pub atmosphere. Comfy.
N. P.
Fantastic boozer known for the odd actor popping in for a quick one after appearing at the Alex. Good choice of real ales, well kept, and crystal clear. You can find yourself walking and looking at the Victorian and iconic decor, and end up back where you started haha
J. P.
An amazing authentic pub that has alot of traditional character.. 1st time visiting won't be the last... staff welcoming and lovely.
s. s.
Nice old fashioned pub right next to Alexandra Theatre .
Lovely old Tudor style leaded windows and cosy seating areas
Good selection of beers .
Looks like it's popular with rockers judging by the clientele but that's not a bad thing as we were made very welcome
M. E.
Friendly welcoming staff and awesome cocktails! Definitely worth a visit!
I.
Great location for the Alexander Theatre though busy at times if there's a show. Good selection of beers and staff seemed friendly.
L. T.
Smells a bit but lovely bar staff, Zach was a very helpful young lad! Overall decent boozer to stop for the pint
M. S.
Classic city centre alternative pub. Good atmosphere, friendly crowd. Never a time I wouldn't be happy to visit.
F. F.
Love this pub. They play great music, my kind of indie/rock/goth layout too.
M. R.
Really good theatre, there seem to be a lot of stairs, how do disabled people cope, unless there is another entrance,on the whole great place, large bar, plenty of seating, good all round atmosphere for a busy theatre....
P. D.
Great place! If you like a good spicy fried chicken sandwich this place is for you! Very good service, good beer on tap!
S. E.
Hidden in the middle of a Birmingham, this little joint provides beverages and images of poorly spelled tattoos. Cocktails are great and toilets are clearly labeled as such. I wasnt stabbed or disrespected (and there are plenty of things pople can offend me for).
Honestly though, love it in here. Would come again when visiting the city.
K. S.
Excellent bar/pub in the heart of Birmingham...great location close to theatre and train station!
A. L.
Gret craft beers & ciders
A. R.
Great pub with excellent local beers and vintage decor
K. P.
Birmingham's best pub/bar/nightclub , it has never failed for a great night out.
D. S.
Great pub, lively atmosphere, good selection of drinks
D. P.
Lovely pub to have a good pint, friendly and very good service. Brilliant staff
R. W.
Great quirky pub good selection of beers and gins , good for a quickie before or after the show
H. W.
Worth a visit
Got there too late to see the band that was on upstairs. If I ever go back to Birmingham I would go back
E. E.
Great place that's not far from New Street Station to go for a drink.
G. Y.
If you like your pubs traditional with a great range of beers, then this this has to be high on your list when in Brum. Been here a couple of times when my son's band has been playing - ears still recovering. Cheaper places to drink, but few with so much atmosphere.
J. M.
Superb traditional pub.
R. A.
Lots of cocktails next to the Alex theatre. Good lively place
J. F.
Great traditional pub with a great range of cocktails
D. H.
Searched before we got there to see if you could eat there, it said dine in but there was only cocktails on the menu.
M.
I've been coming here since I was 18 and my parents before me also used to come here from the 70s. It's had many faces and changes. At the moment they have got rid of most Lagers on draught but there's always Estrella and the fact they currently have a beer festival going on is pretty cool. It's limited time so get going!
Might be a bit niche for some. Even for me! But I guess it's reflective of Birmingham and its ongoing transformation.
A. F.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. Looks nothing from the outside, but a cracking little pub. Really good bar selection, and a great choice of cocktails. Bonus is 2 cocktails for £8 all weekend.
J. S.
A lovely quirky place for amazing cocktails. Friendly staff, Well worth popping in. 2 4 1 cocktails from 5pm.
L. W.
I've always loved the Victoria and I was really excited to pop in for a drink last week for the first time since lockdown was eased. We had a fantastic evening with great service, perfect margaritas (best in Brum) and amazing vegan burgers. Looking forward to my next visit!
A. S.
I've had some great times in The Victoria. It's a bit of a chameleon, playing host to all types of music, people and events. Whether you want a relaxed Sunday, with some tasty food and a few drinks or a proper Saturday night out dancing away to great DJs, it's sure the have something for everyone.
A must if you're visiting Birmingham.
I'm told the Sound and Vision quiz is legendary too, and pretty difficult!
P. L.
Brilliant old school feel with great beer selection
T. D.
This is a great bar in town just around due corner of the Alex theatre. Fantastic looking bar. Some great beers and cocktails. Really nice atmosphere.
V. S.
Warm friendly staff excellent beer. My first visit in many years forgot what a great pub it was.
D. D.
I am not a great fun of british style beers and ciders but there was undoubtedly the place worth to visit. Great atmosphere and helpful staff
P. S.
Brilliant little pub. Friendly knowledgeable staff. When it comes to craft ales there is a large selection of ales, cocktails and gins. Good background music from across most era's. The punters were as varied as the drinks on offer so glad I found it. We will be going back.
M. K.
Lovely friendly staff and helpful. Only stayed for one drink.
c. w.
Yes I do like this place always has a Verity of people in there with a welcoming atmosphere
A. C.
The building interior is awesome. Just what I expected a British pub to be like. I had a drink called Cherry lips and it was very yummy. Highly recommended!!
J. L.
Nice pub. Smells of stale beer. Toilets not great
S. D.
Lovely friendly pub with good atmosphere. 👍
S. W.
Good vibe, banging food and a vast array of entertainment. I highly recommend Birmingham Skeptics on a Wednesday.
D. H.
Fun pub, very good quiz and prices not too bad.
p. g.
Friendly pub with a nice atmosphere.
M. P.
Certain bar staff need to be trained and listen to customers on how drinks are made
K. A.
Great place, small room upstairs where I went to see bands, baby strange, the dunts & frankensteiner play live. Well organised show 👏👌
S. B.
Great pub! We were there on a Friday night, so it was busy. Helpful bar staff, who gave my husband recommendations on which craft beer to try. He was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer him a small sample before he chose, especially as he saw them do this for another customer after we'd been served, so don't be afraid to ask for one. Good selection of gins as well, so we were both happy. Reasonable prices too. Would recommend.
E. E.
Decent pub, toilets were in a bit of a state though.
d. j.
£18 for 4 cans of Red Stripe.....
Plus £10 otd... it turned out to be a very expensive night ...
But the band
MiniMilk and the Kraves were outstanding 🎸🎸🏆🏆🏆
S. E.
Lovely ,cozy pub and very friendly.
S. B.
Nice pub close to the train station.
K. A.
Nice place but could do with clean floor was sticky and bar had drinks spilled everywhere
C. K.
Great hidden gem in birmingham. Visited on a Saturday night over Christmas. After the 2 door staff searched our bags which was in a strange way reassuring, we got in. It was fairly busy and the drinks were great. Cocktails were the best offer with good prices from about £6 and were great quality. Plenty of seating and a room with a DJ and music. Only down side are the toilets are pretty awful and tiny.
S. C.
Two cocktails for £10, what's not to like 😁
A. T.
Lovely friendly pub. Good cocktails. Can be extremely busy on the weekends especially in the evening.
M. C.
Really awesome proper pub with excellent local craft ales and great music. Will be back!
B. L.
Eclectic atmosphere. Good pub quiz
S. H.
Just been in for whisky a few times really. Nice enough pub - bit dark but I think that's part of the charm! The lady who served us last time I was in didn't know an awful lot about the whisky she was serving but I have a feeling she was new. The range of whisky is immense - pretty much name your style and they will have something to suit.
d.
I love this place! It's my go-to hang out spot. It has everything - the music is good, there's a dance floor, there is always somewhere to sit, you can pop outside when you need to cool off from dancing it up. There's never an excessive wait to get a drink, and hardly ever a queue for the restroom...It isn't the poshest spot, but I ALWAYS have a good time when I come here!!!
S. J.
Traditional pub with a good selection of real ale and craft beers, mixture of mature drinkers, students and theatre goers giving in a nice atmosphere. Beer prices a little high but it is a city centre location near to New St railway station so to be expected I guess.
J. S.
Old school pub for roadies, quite nice.
B. B.
Love the old vic , eclectic style & ideally placed for the theatre. Cosy little areas to sit .. if u can get a seat as can be very busy. Suits all ages of customers too & has a good vibe. Pub grub menu available too .
P. L.
Wide variety of beers and spirits. Staff are great. They also run a "Bring your own lunch" scheme. Rock up with your food (or get it delivered there) and they give you the cutlery, plates etc. Should also probably mention their loyalty card. A colleague has about £50 on hers and she's only had it 8 months. Definitely worth a space in the wallet.
D. M.
Classic old school boozer with great product and fantastic staff; always my first stop when I jump off the train.
Hats off to Josh, Kim and the team ✌
D. D.
Been here a few times over the years. Pretty decent place that isn't too far away from Bham New Street train station. There is a back room too which can get packed on a night out. They do cocktails too as well as traditional fare. Decent service but can get busy.
C. B.
Did the cocktail school for a few hours. Really good
T. F.
Great pub in near New St that seems to have gotten more and more popular. Bar and door staff have always been friendly when I've been amd even more so when its been a bit quieter. Bar staff have also been very knowledgable and take time to make sure your order is done well. Drinks seem to be a bit more on the premium end so if you are looking for a cheap drink this probably isn't the pub for you but come here if you are looking for a good drink in a venue with character.
A.
A good, solid, music pub / bar with tasty food and cocktails to spice things up.
My main complaint is the lack of space / layout as it usually gets very busy as the evening draws on and that means always having to navigate through a lot of people to get anywhere.
That being said... the staff are great, really friendly and quick to serve you. There's a good choice of reasonably priced drinks and while there isn't tonnes of seating - there is some.
It has quite a quirky vibe and often has live indie / rock / metal nights playing in the upstairs stage area which - again - is small but serviceable.
I love this place for its character.
N. T.
The hip hop night held every first Saturday of the month is always a good night, just a good vibe in this place everytime with people just out to have a good time. Has an old man's pub vibe and can feel a little hipstery at times but it's always welcoming. Great music, reasonably priced drinks and an all around good time.
B. L.
Nice “old man pub” with a funky modern feel
S. H.
Friendly pub very local to train station x
M. J.
Great pub good vibe and great cocktails. Bar staff are great too.
R. D.
Used to be realy good with knowledgeable bar staff and a good selection of whisky. Now it seems like its become more of a hipster craft beer haunt so I'll think twice before coming back. The post theatre croud are usually a good laugh though so not a complete write off!
L. W.
As the name suggests this is a period pub based which is based in the centre of Birmingham. On entry I got the impression it was a blokes pub but there were in fact mixed groups and female only groups there too. We were in the function room upstairs which was very pleasant for a private party. The only fault was that I am a fan of real ale and although there was a good variety to choose from they were only available in the downstairs bar.
R. H.
Great service under pressure, cocktails a must
A. M.
I love the Victoria. The beer is great, the staff are amazing and the pub itself is very welcoming. They no longer serve food, but as they allow you to take your own food in, this isn't an issue.
J. W.
Visited for a gig sound guy looked uninterested in actually providing good sound to the bands and was more focused on set times. Budweiser was off and had a creamy texture which was odd. I do rate the range of spirits in the small upstairs bar though.
S. B.
Great quirky pub!! Bar staff are great serve as quick as they can and happy to advice on beers and they do some brilliant fun cocktails!! Try to visit here if you can close to turtle bay, mailbox and Arcadian centre.
I. W.
3.5 out of five. £6.50 a pint for a pint of one of Northern Monk's core beers was expensive & didn't taste in great condition either.
Nice old pub but it looked a bit unloved (even taking into account the faded glamour/rustic stylings). Busy on Saturday night. Gents toilets are a bit of a state.
D. J.
Lovely pub next to the Alex. Excellent cocktails! Friendly staff.
K. V.
Nice pub friendly staff 👍 and the beers 🍻 were good 👍
D. W.
We had use of the private function room upstairs, very good speaker system and I was very pleased with how nice the buffet was! Decent option of Budweiser on tap, nice staff. All in all a good Xmas work do and very reasonably priced.
D. H.
Great traditional pub, a welcome relief from all the over-priced gin palaces littered around Birmingham. Would imagine this place gets really busy pre-theatre and rightly so.
Fab selection of drinks and also has a HUGE selection of Whiskies (and some gins!).
Great for couples and small groups who actually want to talk!
D. F.
Went to watch comedy. Great beer. Lovely cocktails. Funny comedians.
K. B.
Popped in here for a drink on an evening and it was great. Lively atmosphere, interesting decor and very well made cocktails.
There's a clear difference in the quality of the cocktails made by certain members of staff - you'll notice the professional bartenders over normal staff, they'll do everything with a flare. They make excellent cocktails. Highly recommended.
Outstanding whisky collection as well, over 30 bottles to sample; from Ardbeg to Lagavulin, Irish to Japanese. Perhaps need to keep on top of purchasing, a few of them weren't available. Check out their whisky menu online.
P. M.
First time I've ever being in the Victoria, which is strange considering I'm a brummagem and have drank in the city on a number of occasions. Have to say a good place to go, it's a pub, where you and have a drink and chat. Staff are good, they will deal with any issues, good beer selection, good spirit selection and decently priced
P. L.
Edited as I has thought I'd left a 5 star and left 4 by mistake 🤦🏻♂️
K. W.
Great atmosphere, great drinks, great food and great service. Would definitely recommend!
I. G. H.
Went here in October 2014 before I saw Lady Gaga at the Barclaycard Arena. The burger and chips I had were delicious. This place was unique the way they served the food - they used wooden boards instead of plates. The drinks were lovely and ice cold, just the way I like them. I would definitely visit here again.
N. C.
Serves Longhorn, one of the best ales.🍻👌
N. R.
One of my favourite pubs in the city. The food is great quality, the range of drinks has something for everyone and any occasion and the events in the upstairs room have provided everything from weekend dj'd nights to comedy shows and classic film showings. A must-visit for any local or visitor to Birmingham.
J. W.
Love the Friday and Saturday DJ nights. Very friendly and fun staff
P. H.
Great drinks. Chicken was stunning. Bit hot n spicy! Just how it should be!
H. Y.
Comfy, wide range of drinks. No problem tasting ales before buying a whole pint. Shame the food didn't start until later so we had to move on but it was a bank holiday. Definitely will return.
K. R.
We were at a function upstairs so I didn't really get chance to have a proper look around. But it was fine. Toilets were clean and tidy. Beer, a good selection.
J. S.
Great selection of craft beers and ales. Food is fantastic and bespoke. NOT traditional pub food. Staff are excellent and take the time to have a conversation with you when they have the chance!
J. W.
Good real ale, reasonably priced, and an extensive selection of craft beers in can and bottle (albeit more at craft prices). Contrary to Google's description, they don't do food, so you'll have to look elsewhere for a meal.
A. G.
Great selection of beers and well made cocktails. Staff are engaging and friendly. Didn't try the food but it looked awesome. 100% will return
S. M.
One of my favourite haunts in Birmingham. You can't go wrong with the Victoria. A good mix of people coming together to provide a great atmosphere for a nice get out. Good beers, decent food and a great setting.
S. C.
Great service quality beers.
V. J. H.
Great music & disco in back room. Love vintage Victorian charm, but the ales and top quality Cocktails are some of the best in town and far cheaper than x5 star hotels!
J. M.
Great pub. Always busy with a good atmosphere
C. M.
The Victoria used to be my favourite all-round pub in the city centre. However, a couple of months ago the closed their kitchen and they no longer serve food.
While it is still a nice place, there are other, better options nearby if you aren't interested in eating.
D. W.
Good pub, used to be quite an alternative place but seems to have gone a bit more dance music type of a weekend. Great ales and food though.
J. H.
Nice old pub, homely and welcoming
G. C.
The old Victoria has ad a bit of a makeover in the back lounge, with a few sailor Jerry inspired wall arts.... Gud to see the old pub still going, looks like it's more of a real ale boozer now, but still worth a look in at one of brums older surviving boozers, 👍🏻👍🏻
b. s.
Great decoration and fast service even though it was very busy. But the music it was too loud that it was coming out distorted and unbalanced. I couldn't stay long inside because it gave me a headache.
M. Y.
Really good had a brilliant night
J. H.
Good inner city pub. Very old school which is great and a decent selection of drinks from ales to gins. Staff often have a good knowledge of what is what
A. E.
Good pub decent pint and great selection of drinks staff are friendly and knowledgeable about drinks. Can get super busy at times but shows it a great place
H. K.
The Pub isn´t cheap, but they have many Beers on Tap.
The Building Outside looks Amazing.
A good Pub to drink with some friends ( or alone ;-) )
C. A.
Probably the best boozer in Brum, a huge selection of beers (draught/bottled), whiskies from all over the world and cocktails to suit all taste. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff make a visit to The Vic a highlight of my week. Don't forget to soak up your pint with a burger or pizza from Vicky's Kitchen!
k. b.
Old fashioned 'spit and sawdust pub. Great cool ales and cocktails. I didn't have much hope when I entered but the atmosphere and how busy it was really perked me up.
Hidden little gem
b. h.
Very eclectic place, possibly decorated by some steampunk fans, the pub itself is a comfortable, classic victorian pub serving a wide range of cocktails (along with a wide selection of high quality spirits), a decent if smaller selection of good quality beers and astoundingly good food.
M. L.
I loved the vibe of this pub. It felt very authentic. Beer was pretty great as well. However prices are quite steep compared to other pubs in town (like really).
P. L. D. F.
A lovely function room upstairs for gigs and sound was good, one of the few places I could actually hear the vocals clearly when bands were on stage. Great place.
D. M.
A traditional, city centre pub with modern decor and excellent beer selection. I've only ever visited on Saturday afternoon, so can't comment on the evening vibe, but a pub I'm happy to return to.
M. S.
Still as great as it ever was and felt fantastic to be back! (also, definitely recommend the crinkly chips!)
S. B.
I visited The Victoria because it came highly recommended by a Google Fieldtrip review.
The decor is definitely different and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The food for me wasn't quite as good as the hidden gastro pub label on the review suggested. Quite a few things I requested from the menu were not available. I had a chorizo and pepper salad for starters and it was extremely tasty. My main was a Taco burger with hand cut chips. The chips were pretty nice but I have had nicer burgers. The bun seemed a little on the stale side. There was nothing exceptionally wrong with it, it just wasn't quite as nice as I was expecting. Portion side was huge.
G. R.
Good selection of ales and drinks with friendly and helpful staff. Interesting alternative pub. Food is usual pub style food, but of a slightly higher level than the standard pub grub. Due to the central bar serving 3 seperate areas, service can be slow at times when it gets busy
A. D.
Great old iconic pub , right next to the Alexandra theatre , good selection of ales , had a bit of a wait at the bar because only one member of staff and he was serving cocktails ,
A. C.
Great wee place, attended a gig upstairs.
Z. H.
Nice cosy pub, shame about the man sniffing gas and drinking people's drink
S. H.
This is a hidden-away pub with a good range of ales and spirits. It's a bit of a dive and run-down looking, but that's part of the charm. The monthly "Skeptics in the Pub" talks are free and always entertaining and thought provoking.
J. K.
Good combination of cocktails, craft beer and food (tending toward southern American). Can get *ludicrously* busy (with an unfortunate tendency towards braying idiots, which isn't their fault). Decor is modern eclectic and quite cool.
Big event space upstairs, which is used to host all sorts of things.
D. H.
Daughter was singing there, great place superb atmosphere.
I. B.
A group of us decended on a Saturday afternoon and had a couple in here. The staff were very friendly and accomadating , the beer (IPA) was good if a little pricy for a hidden away boozer (£40+ for 10 pints, mostly bitter). Would go back
T. F.
Excellent atmosphere, good choice of beers and lager's, didn't try food but still looked very good. Also good cocktail menu
J. H.
Old pub next to grand central. Warning to all people whose idea of fun is drinking overpriced prosecco - don't go to this pub. Why? Cos it's a proper pub ..... whose round is it ?
S. M.
Great location for the theatres and good service
T. @. Y. P. T.
Genuinely the nicest staff in any Bar in Birmingham. Awesome selection of cocktails very well made!
U.
Always love this place for a casual drink, the drinks are relatively priced and the ales on tap are usually great. Although, it can be a struggle to find seating from time to time
T. C.
Many thousands thanks for picking up my phone with green cover this evening which was dropped near your bar whilst rushing to meet up with my son. Don't know who you're but will love to say a personal thank you and have few drinks at your bar soon.
M. P.
It's a pretty good pub! With live music, a wide drinks selection and a very laid back atmosphere, you can't really go wrong.
J. B.
Traditional pub in the heart of the city.
Ideal for popping out of the New Alexandra theatre for a much better and cheaper drink at intermission time
R. W.
The décor is the first impression you get - it's deliberately eccentric and a change from the identikit pub chains.
I know the Victoria because I attend the challenging pop culture quiz occasionally. They have a nice range of drinks served by staff who, seem at least to, enjoy working there.
It's also a venue for other events - the Sceptics group where I saw the mathematics of Juggling as well as regular reading groups but many other events besides). A quirky one of kind place and Birmingham would be much poorer without.
G. M.
A nice Birmingham pub. Good beer. Some charm and quaintness. An outside drink area. Very nice pub meals. A pleasant boozer. Recommend it.
M. T.
Visited on 29th March, after a trip to meet up with family. Made to feel really welcome by the staff, especially "Lewis" all 6 of us "Old" folk had a lovely experience, thank you.
C. A.
Great selection of beers - always a top atmosphere at the weekend especially. DJs always on point 👌🏾
P. B.
Lovely old pub. It was our regular while we were in Birmingham. Nice bar staff, cheap drinks, nothing too fancy, just a nice atmosphere.
S. S.
Burgers are well priced and nice. Can't rate it for nighttime atmosphere but going for lunch is good. But of a grimy feel but it is what gives it more charm
G. M.
Very good cocktails, place can get very busy on a friday and Saturday night, sign of good cocktails, the white russian i had here was one of the best I've ever tasted.
S. T.
Cool pub just behind the train station. Traditional style with stained glass windows. Large bar with good selection of real ales.
T. N.
My favourite pub in Birmingham, hands down. Excellent drinks selection, plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. What more could you want.
S. G.
The food was so good!
It's all cooked fresh and tastes even better for it!
The staff were friendly and polite, and the decor was unique and quirky.
Definitely recommend👍🏼
J. B.
Excellent! Best margarita I've ever heard!!!
A. M.
Nice pub good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Lacks smoking area as you have to stand out on the street to smoke.
M. A.
I really like thos pub, its ghastly busy before shows but the decor and the stafg are lovely, the ales looked after well, an all round great pub
V. J.
We booked a room here to host a quiz. Room wasn't really big enough for the amount of people booked for and technology didn't seem to work properly. Food was great though.
G. Y.
Fantastic pub, great food, awesome staff, brilliant quiz nights and above all excellent beer 🍻 😁
D. D.
Lovely little pub! Good selection of drinks, modern yet dated decor with a nice old fashioned atmosphere!
J. W.
Great atmosphere, very friendly bar staff who know their stuff. Great selection of drinks. Convenient for New Street station.
M. G.
Night out with @gunk. A band not to be missed.
P. P.
Great pub but is really busy on fridays and Saturdays also on those days no glass to be taken outside.
G. R.
Getting a bit worn round the edges, and a bit tatty. Having said that the staff are lovely and it's got a good atmosphere, so certainly worth a look.
d. A.
Best place to drink whiskey in Brum, with over 100 different whiskeys you think it would be difficult to choose, yet the incredibly knowledgeable staff are always able to advise which ones suit my taste.
n. e.
Decent beer range. Often crowded, but that's definitely for a reason. Seems to attract a lot of the theatre goers, too.
R. C.
Great happy hour and really helpful mixologists 🍹🍹
E. S.
A great pub when it is busy, but empty at 14.00 on a Wednesday and tbe beer was stale. Would definitely return at a more lively time.
L. P.
Good vibes on Wednesday Pub quiz night
S. K.
Great lively pub with good drink selection including real ale handpulls. Ideal location for New Street Station too.
A. F.
Nice place, but if you are looking for a place to have a drink with friends and chat, is not the best place. Music too too laud.
