I am not a big fan of burgers but the vegetarian chickpea burger etc was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. The place was clean and windows were open for good ventilation. The staff were friendly smiley and very helpful and the food came quickly. It always makes a difference when staff serve with a smile and some conversation, especially when your eating alone. Nikita came served with a super big smile and made my experience there an enjoyable one with just the right amount of conversation. Thank you Nikita 😍

Dropped in on my way home and had the Sunday carvery. Cannot fault, meat was hot, juicy and not dry, plenty of vegetables to go with it. So much so when finished struggle to stand as it was so filling and nice. Would have been perfect with a pint of real ale, but none on. Seems a very likable carvery and pub going by the amount of people in there.

The two ladies (Katie and Nikita) were super friendly, helped look after my little boy whilst I got our food and simply created a really lovely environment for us to enjoy our visit. Went for Sunday dinner and was blown away by the service and the food. The carvery was spectacular, all four meats with lashings of fresh vegetables, even better was the crackling at the end of the serving counter, Just when i thought it couldn't get any better there as mint gravy and a great range of sauces. Looked smelled and tasted great, unfortunately because i had the largest carvery with the pigs in blankets i was unable to try the desserts, my wife had the profiterole sundae which looked amazing. All in all a great visit, the young lady Nikita looked after us and was very friendly. Cant wait to visit again.

Booked for a group of 7, staff greeted us and the table was ready. Staff were really friendly and advised that fresh vegetables would be out in 10 mins if we would like to wait for the carvery. Good selection of both meat and vegetables. Our table was booked at 7.30 and there were a few people at the bar area nut no other diners, pub lacked atmosphere but good value for money.

From the warm welcome to the fabulous food everything exceeded expectations. A special mention has to go to Ryan who took our order and greeted every request to remove from or add something to a dish with a ‘yes, no problem at all’ and the food arrived exactly as we ordered - perfect. We had pizza and calzones this visit but will be back for a Carvery. I would definitely recommend for good food and friendly service

Had the best night! They managed to book me and 13 other people in on very short notice (also the day before mothers day) they gave the best service, staff are all very polite and helpful. They was on the ball when asking for extra plates and cutlery for my 1 year old and overall with serving and cooking the food we ordered. My kids also had a lovely time playing in the play area. Will 100% be going there in future for meals.

I came across this white Swan on the too good to go app, it was my first time using the app and i was a bit nervous to what i was going to get. But as you can see by the picture i got a full carvery (enough for two people) and they even gave me some extra sausages and beef for the dog. The whole process of going in and getting the food was very smooth, the manager and the lad behind the carvery station were very friendly, polite and i was in and out in less than 3 minutes. The food was really nice as well! I would definitely recommend white swan :)

This pub is an unknown gem as it seems it is under used at breakfast time even though it's only a short drive from junction 3 of the M42 west. It's the high standard Stonehouse breakfast with high standards of Covid control which means you get a great breakfast experience in a safe & clean environment. 5 stars to the manager & his team who make your welcome friendly even though everyone is masked up. Highly recommend.👍

Definately my favourite stonehouse carvery i have been to. Carvery is very nice all good cooked well and generous portions much better than a toby carvery. Today we had pizza both were lovely and the chicken bites tasted amazing. I have to add on all of the staff were very friendly and helpfull. We cant fault any of our experience. The staff are pleasant and friendly, however the first beer I ordered tasted a bit off (the 61 deep - maybe it's not particularly popular with the regulars so had sat for a bit), the food was average but perfectly edible with a pint. I would suggest they relocate the ice cream station to somewhere more visible as the kids at a nearby table were running back and forwards helping themselves to handfuls of the toppings.

Been coming into this pub since the summer. Don't go there often as I am out of area and only there when I am here visiting friend. Always given a warm welcome and staff are warm and friendly. On the occasions I have eaten food here never had a bad experience. Carvery is lovely roast beef is beautiful and plenty of vegetables to choose from. The pizzas are amazing. Today I had the cheese and bacon burger that I would definitely recommend. Compliments to the chief. Will be back here again soon I am sure 😊😊

We had been looking for 30 minutes for somewhere to just get normal food, nothing fancy, but more than a snack. A gent at Beckett's Farm pointed us in this direction. Lots of parking. Big bar. Outside seating area. Asked if they served food, as we were in the bit between lunch and evening, and they were 😁 - carvery and pizza. We chose carvery. Together with 2 pints it was under £20, which was very good. The people serving were polite and helpful. The carvery looked a bit old and dry, however, it was lovely. Lots of vegetables. Very tasty. Beef was very good and their horseradish sauce was excellent. Twice a lady came out and asked it everything was okay. All-in-all good service; good food and nice place to stop. Thank you.

We've been here a few times. The staff are lovely and very friendly. The food is good - it's pub food and carvery so there's something for everyone. What keeps us returning is the staff - honestly, their customer service is second to none. Had a little complaint that was dealt with so quickly and they couldn't apologise enough. Badly run establishment. I booked a table for 5 people at 4pm for a Sunday lunch on the Saturday evening prior. When we arrived, I was met by the manager who informed me that there might be a delay as he hadn't got a free table, when I asked why, he explained that it was caused by people who hadn't booked just coming ad-hoc to eat, and he let them in as he couldn't turn business away. I thought I would have a look at the meat selection before deciding on staying and waiting for a table and asked if they were going to put more out as all that was left was scrap's, I was told not, as his food allocation suggested he'd got plenty of meat. I suggested there was barely enough for one xlarge plate let alone 5, the manager then directed us to a sister pub towards Kings Heath The Knob I think, who he said hadn't been as busy. They had, but managed their food output better, we got our Carveries and they were nicely done, hat's off to them.

I just love this carvery. My friend & I met here tonight for dinner as we have done many times before. The staff and customer service is second to none and they always go that extra mile to accommodate you, even when they are busy. During this current crisis I feel it's one of the safest places to eat out at the moment and follows all of the required safety guide lines. The guy that was serving the carvery was friendly and generous with the portions and the lady who showed us to our table was so patient, helping me to download the App so that we could benefit from a 50%discount too! Definitely recommend. Hand sanitiser freely available and dinner carried to our table for us. We also enjoyed an ample dessert! Amazing. As a key - worker at the end of a busy day this really is the place to fill up,relax and unwind, we were there for over two hours. Thank you xx.

We visited here with family. We're not from the local area and was told this was a nice place to eat. The carvey looked good so we all decided to go for that plus a kids meal. The portion sizes were big even though I only went for a small. The selection of veg was good and lots of it. The meat was good apart from the beef that was a bit dry. Shame there was no chicken or Turkey. The guy on the carvery was great very friendly. The kids meal was a good size. The table area wasn't as clean as I'd have liked as there was food under the table probably from the people before. The place wasn't busy so I was surprised to see this. The play area was a nice touch for the kids. All in all a nice visit and I would return just hope it's cleaner next time and I'd like to see chicken as an option for those who don't eat red meat.

We popped in on monday for a carvery after toby carvery was full. And I was in for a treat. Nice open pub, great menu and some great offers which lead to us having a carvery as well as a pizza and a burger... It was all great I enjoyed every bit of it. For the carvery They give you a sheet and you select size, what meat you want, veg gravy and sauces. It was all generously portioned and I enjoyed it very much. The pizza was tasty and the burger was good. I personally prefer fries over chips. Service was friendly. You still need to pay before food is ordered although at the moment they are offering table service. Between us we paid just under £12 each for all this food I will be back To the manager, apologise for my previous review to the wrong venue. Im not sure what happened there.

First the bad bits. The pub was way to hot on a day when the temp is already 27+ degrees and the heating was on. No air con at all. The tables were sticky. There was no carvery or fish left which is pretty bad because as a slimming world member there wasn't much choice after that. The lady on the bar, I'm assuming she was the manager with a striped long shirt on with long hair was really mean to Nakita that was serving even to the point that my 9 year old picked up on it and said nakita looked sad. Because nakita was the only one serving, taking orders and bringing food out she forgot to put our order in so food took longer to come out. The good bits. Nice location and handy having the park bit outside for the kids to play on while waiting for their food to come out. The food was nice and as there was no carvery i was given the option of a grilled chicken salad without the dressing. Nakita couldn't stop apologising for the mix up and gave us a round of drinks to compensate for the late food. She seemed so stressed and flustered as she was the only one doing all the running round inside and out and the clean up as customers left. At one point her manager was in the back and kept poking her head round to look at he bar but she didn't come to help. Nakita you did really well and and we were happy with the service even if it didn't quite go to plan. You are a credit to the company and I hope you get it abit easier soon.

Had a lovely delicious carvery today, first meal out since lockdown. The Staff were very friendly and welcoming, plenty of room, tables spaced apart and a one way system in place. Food plated up with what you ask for, then given to you at the end of the counter, recommend it via booking. After use the tables are cleared and cleaned straight away, shame I can't give more stars. Just had two burgers and two pizzas for £20 with a couple of beers between 3 of us ,fantastic service, great food and made to feel very welcome. Social distancing was observed without being heavy handed. All in all a very enjoyable experience which I highly recommend.

I have been to this pub a few times in the last month and I have to say that it is excellent, I refer specifically to the breakfast which I went there with my mum and dad. The food was hot and fresh, the service was excellent and the price was superb. Excellent venue and would strongly recommend to anyone wanting breakfast. A few days later I went here for an evening meal, I had the pizza and it was fantastic - great value, drinks are keenly priced and the staff were helpful. Manager came over to ensure our visit was ok and I commended him and his team on the service on the occasions we have been.

Unfortunately I find this place hit and miss with the food and the staff but it's reasonably priced and local so we find ourselves eating here occasionally. Inside the building can get very warm so if like me you don't like to be too hot when you eat I would dress lightly. If ordering burgers ask for freshly cooked because they do precook them.The Pizzas are always very good and the carvery is passable. Take a look at the meat before ordering though as I've seen it extremely dry. The chips are sadly never any good but the salad bar is a nice touch. Last time I visited I mixed and matched their starters on a special offer as my main and it was all lovely.

We had our daughters 3rd birthday here and all the children had a fantastic time! The area the party was held in was large enough to not feel like we were all on top of each other and weren't in the way of other guests. The staff were lovely, especially Leah who hosted the party. Most of the accompanying adults also ate and there were no complaints from anyone. The play area outside was also a big hit!

Quite busy when we arrived, but found a table and decided on the carvery. The choice of meats were, Turkey , Beef, Pork, Gammon. They were cooked perfectly and they had a good range of vegetables too. Very enjoyable meal.

Went up for a carvery this Thursday, £4.50 for a full belly! Cant go wrong, pint and a carvery with change from a tenner is a winner all day long. 4 Meats on the hot plate, 10 sauces and 2 gravy's for you to treat yourself too, plenty of veg and potatoes on offer., Chips, mash and Roasties. Meat was a little dry but we'd missed the lunchtime rush (4PM), but turn up at lunch time and you'll get a moist slice no problem. Parking is no problem and the staff on the bar are quick and efficient, quick decent lunch for under a tenner gets a big thumbs up from where i'm sitting!

It is a smaller selection vs prem inn breakfast however for the price the food today was on point. It was not greasy and food was prepared in smaller portions so its fresh as it comes. Had 2 breakfasts and 2 bottomless hot drinks at £13. Is a bargain. We checked the food before actually staying as the other option was becketts but the food looked on point and tasted good too. Definitely worth a visit. Some have said they have had poor service so i am guessing it is a little hit n miss however we had a good visit.

Nice carvery in a nice location, only downside was that at a Sunday lunchtime with the Velo on, you'd have thought they'd have put staff levels up by a few extras staff, to only have 3 bar staff dealing with bar orders, food orders etc, they were a tad pushed. We used to go here a lot when this pub belonged to the Crown Carvery. It was a really nice place to have a cheap lunch. But since the new owners have taken over, it and indeed most of the Stonehouse chain have now gone off terribly. The prices went up a lot, probably to cover the cost of refurbishment but also whenever you go there, the food is either cold or dried up in the serving dishes because not as many people go there now and the turn over of food is much slower. Not really somewhere I would recommend any more.

The pizzas are nice and big enough for a big boy. On the hot plate the pie is hard to beat. I like the ham the most on the hot plate as far as the choice you are allowed within the meats. They are not stingy with the meat either. The only comment I would say is more gravy options only the standard one not the mustard or any of the other funky gravys you can find at other places. I would have the ice cream option but when your sitting down you can see all the kids hand molding it. Overall if you don't want to wash up after a Sunday dinner it's worth the money. 25quid will get you 4 dinners 2 fruit shoots and 2 pints of coke. Great place thanks kiss kiss Steve

Went there with two friends and we all wanted a carvery, got there at 8:30 to be told the carvery had finished so we ordered pizzas instead and the chef said he would sort us out with some desserts afterwards because of the issue. The pizza's arrived and all of us commented on how hard and crunchy they were and that there was nothing really special about them. We finished the pizza and because they were only ok we decided we were going to have the desserts to try and make up for it however we tried to find the chef that we had been served by only to find he had gone home so no desserts for us. We left saying we wouldn't go out of our way to go there again unfortunately. As the manager replied to this rating I felt the need to give an explanation for my 3 stars. Sorry Chris but it just wasn't a great visit :(

Tina and jade catered for my toddler son who has milk allergy and anaphlatic to wheat at a pizza party without and prewarning and managed to cater a main meal and a desert for him. They even ensured all staff was aware of his allergy and gone the extra mile in extra cleaning and sterilising of equipment. They made my experience stress free. I can never really eat out with my son as there's usually cross contamination or nothing avaliable for my child which doesnt harm him or put him at risk. Thank you and will visit again!

I have only ever had the carvery, which is good value. You can choose from gammon, turkey and Beef, or all three. Choice of veg - cabbage, cauliflowrr cheese, carrots, peas, mashed potatoes, swede, carrot and potsto mashed, chips. Choice of salad, vegetarian gravy if wanted, choice of sauces. Great value. No dessert.
