My friends and I decided to have a quick meal and drink in our local Wetherspoons. We have all been here many times, but today was different. A few things happened that stood out. Our food was served very quickly, hot and fresh. Bar service was also efficient, with multiple servers bringing over a drinks. One individual stood out throughout the meal. Chloe was attentive, listened to our questions, and took time to help my friend with her menu choice, and even brought out a plate to illustrate the portion size of the meals.

You know what you are getting when hitting a spoons for a breakfast. The main positive and what made this a 3 star experience was the banter from the jubilant early morning drinkers. Always there come rain or shine. Will return in future to get on the sauce with the locals.

Food was top notch, and came out quickly. Very friendly staff (thank you for answering my girlfriend's question about the books!). Some of the nicest toilets I have seen in a long time, actually worth the super long walk. And the huge mirror on the wall made for some wonderful selfies. 10/10 would pout in front of again

It's another Wetherspoons, I hit it on an early Friday evening, when so many watering holes are just getting busy, and it was quite full with a good craic. A notable feature for me was the carpet, I loved the design and colours, Spoons have gone for a brightish geometrical pattern. I liked it.

I went to The William Tyler today for breakfast. Considering I have been there before and it just to be good. Not this time though, drink wise it is good however food it is complete opposite. We ordered small vegetarian breakfast which was not warm. It was cooked and left under the warm light. Also we ordered Egg benedict, no rockets on them and wasn't hot. .

The staff are doing a great job in regards to covid regulation's. The only thing I do not like is that the toilets are a mission to get to in almost every weather spoons establishment.

This is a great local pub with lovely staff. Compared with some other local Wetherspoon pubs which can seem a bit lacking in character & atmosphere, the Tyler seems like a ‘proper pub’. The pub typically offers a good choice of Real Ale which is usually fresh-tasting & well-kept. Food is cheap & cheerful. As a regular user of this pub, I can only describe the staff as very professional, easy-going & friendly. The pub seems to host quite a surprising mix of different types of people or customers and most of the time it has a great atmosphere!

Went on a Friday. Was there at 4.30 and it was packed. Managed to find a seat right by the kitchen so it was very loud and had people walking past our table constantly but I guess that should be expected. Very loud in general and difficult to have a conversation. Staff were pleasant and service was good. Used the app to order and pay and the table service meant we got our food order and drinks bought to us and the service was quick. Food was average. Not overly hot but was acceptable. Wouldn't expect much more from a wetherspoons on a busy Friday.

We went (4 generations of us even though G.G son couldn't eat breakie just the juices of the beans and soft egg yolk lol) for breakfast here for the first time since covid hit and I must say it was a great experience. Firstly you don't have to order at the bar, you order from your mobile and they bring it to your table within minutes which is fab. The staff are still as friendly, helpful and happy, and can't do enough for you. I recommend that you get yourselves down there and enjoy 😁

Love this boozer. Nice and cosy, definitely the rose between two thorns out of the holy trinity of yew tree pubs. Serve a nice breakfast here and if I mention my mate darren's name, I get a discount on the breakfast. Serve a lovely pint of coors here, and can always trust a tim martin edition of micky mouse. Only reason I have docked a star is because a tall, blonde lad ordered a large mixed grill, a pizza, a chicken tikka curry and nachos as a starter. On top of that greed, he claimed he loved wetherspoons fresh food and said it is fresh as 'it is from the grill'. I will not put up with that and I felt he disrespected me. Definitely will be back at this top boozer, but that tall, blonde lad should be barred. If going to order food, then do it on the club days, disgrace.

Great local pub, vibrant atmosphere. Well priced food and good service from friendly staff. Plenty of local history and quirky decor make this an interesting place. Usually an excellent selection of guest ales and the house beers are very well kept. I'd give it 5 stars, but as per usual with Wetherspoons pubs the toilets are a hike away.

Superb local boozer very popular with the Bohemian crowd. Great staff with ultra fast service. Fine selection of beers and ales. Food very popular. Perfect venue for pre theatre apperitifs. Dining here is excellent with a well stocked menu.

Ordered eggs Benedict. When food arrived no rocket salad no ham that was part of the dish. waiter said they had no ham or rocket. It would be useful to inform people when ordering and offer alternatives as its disapointing when part of your dish is missing. Beside this issue the food was good. Typical weatherspoons. Waitress was lovely but worried we didnt have eggs on our advacado muffins. Not 5 stars as the chef gave us advacado halves we had to chop ourselves. Waitress kept comming back to see what we were doing.

Typical weatherspoons pub, food is standard, nothing to rave about, but the value refects the quality. Staff are normally jolly and accommodating. Outside area with seating to the front and a huge open door during summer make for an easy lunch spot and a good place for a local pint. They serve a good choice of beverages, alcoholic and otherwise all at cheap prices. Toilet facilities are clean and well maintained. Lots of seating areas and highchair are available. More often than not the tv's will show sports, great for those who follow football, rugby etc. Minimal trouble, but often loud. Suitable to some extent for families (earlier rather than later, lunch and breakfast times ideal with younger children before the boozers get in for the evening pissup).

But today in the William Tyler in Yardley Birmingham. Very different. No one on the door and no hand sanertize. Until you are in side the pub. Also had to ask three times for our table to be cleaned. May not go back to somewhere that is near to my home town.

i've been working in the Birmingham area for on a 2 week job, been to 4 'Spoon's in the area and this was the best, Staff and food was spot on every time, chef is really good, had the friday fish tonight best ive had anywhere. fish was still moist but super crispy batter, some one complained on my 1st visit because their steak had split apart and gave loads of grief and to be honest i felt bad for chef as he quality, clientele in all others was a bit shifty so i'll be taking the drive when back here again to the the Tyler 10/10

I love this place it's such a freindly nice environment and a good place to socialise in I've been here quite a few times now with my freind and i see alot of old lonley people bless them it's a nice place to for everyone the food is beautiful especially their fish and chips proper cod fish with crispy batter on and the size of the fish are big and the prices are so so reasonable and would highly recommend anybody to visit this place even if u don't drink alcohol it's still idea for food,soft drinks, coffe tea,cappucino and deserts with a nice lively atmosphere I'm asian and felt like I might be the odd one out but it's so freindly and welcoming bless them even on busy days theirs no trouble and the waitresses are so beautiful and the chef is guarantee a number 1ne chef never had a bad experience here keep up the good work and will defiently come back for 1ne of the best fish and chips and curry sauce in Birmingham.
