G. E.We had a lovely night celebrating a 21st birthday. Got complimentary drinks for the birthday, and the staff were really accommodating the whole night, and super friendly! Zach looked after us when some older drunk men approached us, while another member of staff removed them. Really amazing place, will definitely be visiting again
J. D.It's a lovely looking place, with a lot of neon pink! We were downstairs as we didn't have a booking, I'm assuming upstairs is for groups etc. It's small and I can imagine if it was busier you'd be like sardines. I've only given 3 stars because the price of the drinks is ridiculous, with the cocktails all at least £10 and a large glass of wine was £9! I was told by an employee that they charge 'London prices' and I was like well we aren't in London mate. We stayed for one drink, I had the cheapest cocktail that was really nice. The music was good and there was a nice vibe. Just a warning if you want to go, make sure you save up a month's wages first 🤣

The service was great, I didn't get his name but he made everyone feel so welcome, recommended drinks to try and was just nice and friendly.

The venue was amazing, but that’s not where the wonder ended!
We were greeted by the wonderful Chelsea, a credit to the company!
She warmly welcomed us and took us to our booth. I had booked a table to celebrate a birthday and Chelsea went above and beyond! Always making sure we were okay and even recommended a birthday drink for the birthday girl, which she loved!

Entertainment was great food and drinks package great staff mega friendly especially the lady on the door / reception and I really liked the fact you wrote the time you arrived in the ticket so you did actually get an hrs free drinks boy we give that some hammer !

A. B.I spent my 22nd birthday at Tonight Josephine 30/12/2021 and it was the most amazing experience! This is my first time going to Tonight Josephine and exceeded my expectations. My party of 20 received the best customer service from Cam, who served us three free Prosecco bottles which I didn’t even expect! Me and friends had a lovely toast and honestly enjoyed the night! Even my boy friends really enjoyed it too which I was scared about dragging them to there! Thank you so much for accomodating me and my party.

As a large group booking there was a slight confusion (no fault of the venue) but this was quickly resolved by email by Eve who was friendly and sorted everything speedily. No hassle. Everyone had so much fun on the evening. Enjoyed the food, which arrived hot and drinks flowed. Great afternoon with bottomless brunch and entertainment.

R. P.Burlesque brunch was really fun, lots of prosecco, nice service, not that great welcome cocktail (soz) really disappointing food... For the price your paying that £39 is purely for the entertainment and the prosecco/beer, the food really needs improvement. Recommend it for a good time out with friends, not for the food.

A. J.Fantastic time at Josephines. Had a great night out with friends. Enjoyed the range of music. Very good selection of drinks however they are smaller than I'm used to. Glasses are never fulled enough and it's a lot of froth from the shaker.
Would have been five stars other than that.
The door man Jimmy and other black guy (security?) are a credit to this place.

If you love sweet cocktails 100% recommend Razzle Dazzle, Rhubarb & Custard and Love Potion.

E. C.Had a great time celebrating for my birthday on bank holiday weekend! I wasn’t sure what to expect as the online reviews were quite mixed but we had an absolute blast! We went for moulin rouge brunch, it was fun, colourful, and rowdy! Food was tasty and better than I had anticipated(although don’t expect fine dining because it’s not that kind of brunch) and the drinks were nice although could have been topped up more regularly considering the price for 2 hours of bottomless drinks. The welcome cocktail was a great touch though. The drag and cabaret were fantastic and energetic and the drag performer even took selfies with people which I thought was really kind. We had a great time, thanks tonight Josephine!

We had booked a table (if you could call 2 half moon shape tables being pushed together, which were 2 "tables" that classed as a table) for £67.50 which included 6 cocktails and a shot each. This was subject to a service charge of £7.50 and you had to get your own drinks from the bar so not sure where the "service" bit comes from. The music was great, the atmosphere was also good. Very busy but not to the point where you couldn't move. The only thing that baffled me was I bought a round of 5 drinks - 3 pink gin & lemonade, 1 pink gin & tonic & a malibu and diet coke which came to £30.55. Within 20 seconds of paying I ordered another pink gin and lemonade and that was £11.55...... Now I am no mathematician but that doesn't add up! All in all a good night but the pricing is all over the shop!

The service was absolutely amazing we had a lovely waitress called Dior, we received our drinks very quickly, the food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly and chatty. It’s such a great vibe aswell. Definitely recommend visiting I will be coming back very soon!

E. S.After visiting Waterloo and loving it we decided to book a brunch at the Birmingham venue . As we were a couple I was a little worried that my husband would feel out of place at a brunch dominated by women . We had a fabulous time . The drinks constantly flowed and we were never left without a drink . The food isn’t amazing but it’s ok . The entertainment was incredible. We went to the pop icons brunch with lady Gaga, Britney and Beyoncé . They were amazing . As it was Easter Sunday and we were the last brunch of the day we got to stay for the evening . Highly recommend this venue . The staff were the lovely the door staff were super friendly which is a rarity these days the manager was fabulous I cannot compliment the team enough . Thanks for a brilliant evening . We will definitely book another brunch here and have recommended it to friends .

J. L.Can’t recommend this place enough! My friend and I went to one of the Abba bottomless brunches and it was amazing!! Everyone was in such high spirits, the place is beautiful & really well kept, the food was gorgeous and the staff are simply brilliant. The staff got involved with the fun of the night too! I’d like to give Zack & Cam a shoutout as they looked after us so so well when we’d had a few too many Proseccos, they stayed by our sides, made sure we got home safe and offered water bottles when we needed. We really appreciated their help as we definitely needed it! Tonight Josephine creates such a safe place for you sing & dance your night away! Such an amazing night out, get there asap and take everyone you know 🤩

Would just recommend adding more of a majority of different Cocktails even the basics like a Starwberry Daquiri, apart from that will definitely be back :)
S. D.I have visited Tonight Josephine on a number of occasions (not by my choice may I add) as I feel the cocktails are extremely watered down, the Prosecco is cheap. The waiters take extremely long to bring drinks out to your table. We had recently had a large booking and a lovely waiter bought over a round of cocktails however was short by 2 and had taken 20 minutes to then bring out the other 2 which left 2 members without a drink for quite some time. Decor is fab but I personally think this is all that's good about this place. First time visiting I ordered the hummus and Pitta which none of our party ate as it was dry and basic. on another occasion I ordered the halloumi burger which was even worse it was soggy and was not edible the wedgies were rock hard and burnt. Overall a good night but I feel like It does need improvements to get 5 stars.

S.Fabulous venue, like the Waterloo bar but better. Service is quick, happy hour is indeed happy, and the manager is very attentive and a better photographer than an aerial drone.
g. s.Atmosphere: clean, spacious, underground so no signal on your phone, Beautiful interior, care-free atmosphere, high ratio of females compared to men. Not very diverse I observed mostly young caucasian females.
Pricing: cocktails are approx £10 each and mock tails are £5
Staff: very relaxed, chilled, having a fun time on shift, very polite when asked requests
Dresscode: mixed some girls wearing jeans and trainers some girls wearing mini dresses with stilletto.
Music: Cheesy Pop Music with occasional R&B or Rap
Overall I had a good night out because I can listen to a range of music and the vibe is fun but wouldn’t visit again as it was a little underwhelming and I prefer venues that are more diverse

Everything you need in one place for an amazing girls day; a briliant atmosphere, the entertainment was superb, and it feels like a really safe and friendly environment because it's mostly women. Thought the way of doing the bottomless brunch was a lot better as well, with them just leaving you with the bottle each time. 100% will be coming back here and hopefully sooner rather than later!

C. W.We did have unlimited drinks for a full hour. They did not hold back on making sure we was topped up. Food was nice. Moulin Rouge? There was nothing Moulin Rouge about it. They played welcome to burlesque at the end but the host said this is the time we all sing. The guess the intro game we played again had no relevance to Moulin Rouge. I wouldn’t go back as I can have the same experience for a cheaper price at other bottomless brunch bars.

I. L.With the new covid regs anywhere in Birmingham(nightlife) you need a jab/covid passport. They settled for a negative registered pcr test as half were not vaccinated and we came from 2 hours away for a birthday, we had to go on a hunt for pcr tests. We paid for the reservation which finished at 2am and they closed at 12am. Music was great just a pity that by the time we got the pcr tests and got into the venue we had 45 minutes to enjoy. Door staff were great though.

There was a few issues with our party and harassment from staff and unwanted touching and considering this is a female empowerment bar there were times I felt unsafe there. It was not handled in the best way but our group made the night great for us.

A great place to catch up with friends and get some great drinks, especially after Covid! Cannot reccomend it enough.
H.If you're looking for a fun filled night out with the girls then this is the place to go. We attended the bottomless Britney brunch and the prossecco was flowing. Even when we ran out the wait staff made sure we were topped up and we certainly was well looked after by one waitress in particular, Emma was amazing, she made sure we were having a great time and everything was OK with the meal and drinks. Thanks for a great night. We were so impressed we've booked to come back for a Mamma Mia night.

Staff are so friendly (including bouncer and also the lady who was very patient with us allowing us to finish the wine we'd bought) and contributed to a brilliant afternoon, we will most definitely be back!

Would have loved to have given 5 stars, as we did have an amazing time, staff were friendly, burlesque dancers were fab and the drag queen was hilarious!
The food was originally pizza, so when we arrived was told to choose something different, which was fine. I opted for chicken and "cous cous" it was not cous cous it was quinoa 🤢
A friend asked for the lip stencil on top of one of the cocktails that is advertised and was told "we do not have that stencil"
Our time was 4-630
Just after the the entertainment finished, the music started and majority of people up and dancing, about 615ish the fire alarm went off, ok we all started to evacuate, then it stopped so everyone headed back to what they were doing.
620 and it started again, this time we all had to leave. Now the sad thing is, nearly every person leaving said is this just to get us to leave as our time ended at 630.
A passer by-er went passed and asked what time the venue was opening and the lady said 645, so if this was indeed a "real" fire, surely they would not be opening within 15mins!
Then the burlesque lady came out of venue all changed, again if this was a real fire then she should have evacuated like the rest of us. Another member of staff came out eating chicken!
As I said in the beginning we had an amazing time, just a shame they have to set the fire alarm off to get us to leave the venue!
We had to pay money for the bottomless brunch and we paid 4 til 630.
