Reviews of All Hail Ale

If I could give a pub a six star rating I would definitely do that for this great establishment.
The barman Melvyn was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the ale, beer, lager and cider he was selling.
I hope your approaching retirement goes well and the boat steers you to many more great pubs with countless new Ales to sample.
One thing that I loved about the pub was that they actually had a deal going with the authentic Italian Pizza restaurant next door. You ordered your food and whilst waiting for it to be freshly cooked you pop in to the pub for a swift one. Your food was then delivered to the pub and you can eat it while sampling a beer or two. The only polite request was that you take your rubbish with you.
The list of drinks available regularly changes so definitely worth visiting a few times if you are staying in the area for a few nights.

Excellent craft beer bar in Westbourne area of Bournemouth.
Great range, great can fridge, knowledgeable owner, really nice vibe.
Would definitely rush back next time I’m in Bournemouth.

This is a fantastic little bar ten minutes walk from the town centre.
If you're into micropubs and independent brewers making different and unusual beers and ciders, this is a must.
The chap who served us clearly knew his stuff and was as enthusiastic as he was knowledgeable.
It was fairly busy given it was a Saturday night but not overcrowded and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.
Recommended 100% to anyone who thinks Fosters is a swear word!

What a fantastic taphouse. Big selection of keg and cask beers. Run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. No food options but you can buy pizza from next door & bring it in. We are here for two more days and intend to go back two more times!...😊🍺

An incredible, ever changing selection of craft ales in a friendly and cosy bar on the outskirts of Westbourne. Highly recommended!

Great little ale pub - plenty to choose from at any time and friendly staff. Have games too you can play

This is a fantastic micropub!
Stylish exterior and well laid out inside. Great diverse range of interesting beers - not as many cask options as usual due to the pandemic, but loads of superb keg options. Comprehensive list of cans and bottles to consume on the premises or take away. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable barman.
I went in July and the place was very COVID secure, with perspex screens and clear instructions on how to keep a distance (must have cost a bit to set up). All necessary unfortunately, especially in a tiny bar, but this didn’t detract from the experience.
Highly recommended. I’d be in here too frequently for my own good if I lived locally!
As a bonus, All Hail Ale is next door to the superb Da Mario pizza restaurant, where I went for my Italian dinner (a superb mozzarella starter and pizza), before my Italian dessert here (a Siren affogato beer!) Apparently there's a mutual relationship where you can bring beer from the micropub to Da Mario’s (since the restaurant is BYO), and you can also eat Da Mario pizzas in All Hail Ale! Residents of this corner of Westbourne are lucky!

Amazing place starting from atmosphere to choice of bottles and draught beers from near and far. I did not know what I wanted so I was given to sample 3 IPAs and 1 of them was lush. £8/pint but well worth it.

Good actual craft beer selection & atmosphere, no kitchen but they have snacks and let you bring food in from the traditional wood fired pizza place next door which smell ruddy amazing from the bar.
