Haven't been to this pub for years and was pleasantly surprised how lovely it was. Welcoming, cosy place. Very friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Delicious food reasonably priced. Landlady made sure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. Staff worked very hard. Recommend.

Midday Wednesday Ale time. The Ale was in superb condition and the pub was bustling with people. So good to see from a local community pub. Thank you for the hospitality.

Run by the same owners for over 40 years. Great little pub. And I mean little, like if you are tall look out or you will be knocked out. Lovely low beams. Lol Good people run the place and drinks are at a good price.

We love this pub for its straightforward, traditional pub atmosphere, no music, good beer and outstanding, no-nonsense, affordable food. The fried egg sandwich with mushrooms, mmmmm! And the home made steak and ale pie is excellent. We go whenever we can. (Sadly, no dogs.)
