M. M.What can be said about this place, Canvas previously Known as ' Bumbles' One of, if not The Oldest Nightclub in Bournemouth.
I've been frequenting this establishment for the past 35 Years. A Great Venue to watch a Band Play or listen to a fantastic DJ & Dance the night away. Most definately highly recommended and worthy of 5 ***** " All Night Long" ( Well done Lionel)!!!
E. L.Canvas is a fantastic place! Located close to town centre, restaurants, etc. The bar area looks great and the atmosphere was so lively! Then the dance floor and concert area (with another bar) - just perfect! We danced the night away until early in the morning! The best time we had in ages! Totally recommend it!

d. b.Thank you to all staff at Canvas for a fantastic evening last night at the Motown & Soul event . I would like to single out the door staff firstly, not only were the guys on the front door friendly and welcoming, but also extremely polite and very helpful . The bar steward in the small bar area was great , and again extremely helpful , and totally unfazed by the amount of customers he had to deal with . I found drinks not expensive at all . The group Wonderland were superb and had everyone dancing , singing along and thoroughly enjoying themselves . All in all a great venue that I would highly recommend particularly to the over 40’s . In this day and age to not feel over age in a club is great . Hats off to the management , they’ve got it 100% right ....... we’ll done all

P. F.Formerly bumbles nightclub a newly refurbished place acts as a live gig/show venue. I frequent a networking meeting here which always attracts a good crowd. Staff are friendly and serve some good cocktails. Not pretentious and not too pricey.
J. V.Really upset about this evening booked tickets for this evening being told the act starts at 8pm. In fact he won't be starting till 12:30 if I had known that I wouldn't have gone! Poor advertising. Staff are amazing though and venue is great xx
T. S.Typical noisy night club, large dance floor. But no conversation to be had as music so loud. Usual crowd of drunks and pushing to get to the bar. It would have been less than 3 stars but I liked the building.
R. T.Nice large multistorey building set on road edge in town. Small unassuming entrance leads to a private club where you can arrange for a whisky lesson, who needs one? Everyone!. Not rushed very well presented with a lot of facts to be taken in and not at all skimpy on the tasting. We must have tried eight whiskies and there were six of us. Great value and dare I say it interesting too, I certainly learnt something. Great welcome and very well looked after by the people there. Very clean facilities and a perfect visit for Stagg, Hens or just a party out. Great stop, hope to return at some stage.

J. B.Watched many a band/group here. Really good night but sooo expensive to drink here. Booking a table really not worth the money as you don't get to pick drinks packages. Prices gone up since I last went so probably will only go if something really good on.

H. B.I had my 30th birthday here on the 4th of Feb and we had an excellent night. We hired the green room for the evening, the staff couldn't do enough for you and the food was excellent. Holly and Dawn were superb and always checking that everything was ok. Even managed to come up trumps with a 90's RnB playlist for us! I would highly recommend this club if you want to host a party. Thank you so much for making my evening a good one!

Unfortunately though, what is a real pain is that there is no disabled access.
g. m.It was a nice night out... but the DJ wasn't so good for a club like this. Many times after the chance of a song everyone was stopping dancing and waiting for the next one..
T. K.Doors opened at 7.30 but cloakroom didn't open until after 9.30? Pain carrying coat around with handbag and drink.
