Very mixed people.
Chatty, friendly, helpful barman made us welcome.
Sometimes TV on, sometimes quiet.
Few dogs running around in pub.
The porter I had was great.
Mate less keen on his IPA.
E. F.Nice locals bar, very friendly and easy to chat to anyone in there. Looking forward to seeing the renovation, hopefully it retains its traditional character. I would love to see more events here one day, maybe draw in a slightly younger crowd as well. Also props for having a class poole table

A. H.Great new barmaid gave us all a real good lunchtime with her banter, shame she supports Southampton. A traditional English pub, fantastic landlady, Sunday roasts are great too. Oldest pub in Bournemouth with its history all over the pub. Well worth a visit

N. P. M.Great local pub, lots of history as it's possibly the oldest one in Bournemouth! A friendly welcome guaranteed. Welcomes away supporters on match days and you can chat about the game before and after the match, whatever the score. Live bands and folk events included regularly.
