Reviews of The Bell

I can’t thank these guys enough for everything they have done. I am local to here and could never find another pub like it. Not only are the bar people so lovely and quick, the landlord and land lady have put their own money into making this place fabulous.
They’ve now made a children area which kids adore, they’re doing more and more to make their customers happy.
They are also very supportive to anxious newcomers, even the locals invite you into their group.
I couldn’t recommend this place more, whether you’re coming for a drink or up early at 5 and need a quick bacon sandwhich and a coffee!!!!

Amazing staff. Made me feel really safe as a young girl. Especially the doorman Glen the head doorman. Sham was such a good bar tender, so welcoming and I had the best night, 10/10 would recommend. To add on they had a really good selection of beers and gins, really refreshing to see

My local for nearly 30 years, A great community pub welcoming children and dogs. Friendly and efficient management and staff, a mutually supportive network of regular customers. Live music, karaoke, super garden, tasty food. Quality!

The Bell is a awesome family community pub bringing everyone together it's the hub of Southbourne and surrounding area. The staff are extremely efficient and friendly and very welcoming. Adam the landlord is a avid supporter of local charities. The ambience in The Bell is always on point. Highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed. Kind regards Karen.x

We came here to watch the football, but it wasn’t on! This place is advertised as a sports bar. It even has posters saying ‘Live Sports Shown Here,’ but the barmaid said that they don’t have Sky Sports. The beer was not bad, although we had to change one pint of ale, as it tasted rancid. It did have a nice beer garden, and looks like they have live bands at weekends.

This used to be a very shady pub but since Adam has taken it over the pub has been totally changed around. I now come down to the pub and thoroughly enjoy myself. I would thoroughly recommend enyone coming into the area to give it a try
