Really nice place for breakfast on Sunday. Parking on roadside around Westbourne. First time there and we had pancakes with bacon, syrup and thought I'd try out it with ice cream too plus a poached egg. It was amazing... Would definitely go back and recommend. Service was friendly and efficient too.

The Duck is located in the middle of Westbourne, close to many other shops and not too far anyway from the Bournemouth centre. I ordered a hot dog and I have to say that I really enjoyed it! I found the prices a bit higher than expected and for this reason I think it's not a place where I will go too often but still, I can consider my overall experience in this pub restaurant pretty positive!

Sat down and the atmosphere was nice and chilled! The menu is abit pricey and I was very sceptical about the food! However I was very surprised, the burger was so thick and it was probably one of the best burgers I have had! Would recommend to come again!

Duck bar was a good relaxed dining experience. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Service was good. Food: Modern menu with options for most tastes. The food looked appealing and was really tasty. COVID: cleaning evident and hand wash stations located all around inside. Staff no longer wearing masks. Overall: I would come back here. Lost a point as outside area was no very appealing to sit in for longer periods.

The place has a nice atmosphere. The food is to be desired to be honest. Not sure I’d like to eat here again. I had chicken fried steak which was not tasty. The garlic bread however was nice. I think the prices are overpriced for what you are getting.

First of all, the guy serving our drinks and food Aaron was ******* incredible if he's not paid substantially more than average wage, he should be. The food was nice, I had the meatless burger with some American style cheese, I've had that type of vegetarian fake meat before and it yet again stood up to the amazing standard of quality and so did the rest of the burger and my chips, I robbed a couple fried pickles (frickles) of my friends plate and they were also pretty good. My girlfriend had the spicy cauliflower cheese thing that I liked a lot too. All around a good experience!

I visited The Duck in Westbourne on Monday 3 February 2020 for breakfast, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place. I parked in one of the local car parks nearby the restaurant - parking was easy. The restaurant comprises of a main dining area set out to give you your own space - there were plenty of tables with full table service. The team were very friendly, attentive and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and a pot of tea. The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was good value for money. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would come and visit again.
