m. k.Nice place to go to. Location is good, inside has an interesting lay out. Staff is welcoming and pleasant. I went there with a friend for the first time, they were doing a Japanese experience evening. Food was good and desert was unusual.
Perhaps if online booking and email replies will pick up a speed that will help a lot.
4* is only for those slow responses and we got charged £8 for a mocktail, which is dear(as we were tired, didn't question it to be honest). A small pot of tea £4.40. Food menu though looked more appropriate with their prices.
A couple of parking areas near by makes it easy to visit this establishment.

C. D.It was ok. Nice venue and outdoor seating, but breakfast was pretty small for the amount we paid. Had to wait absolutely ages for cutlery so were just sat there watching our food go cold. I even went in at one point to get the cutlery myself, but was told it was coming and to sit back down. We were then waiting another 5-10 minutes! Wouldn't go back for food but would for drinks.
R. B.We booked a work summer party with Tonic Social and they were great. They were so accommodating and did everything they could to make the night run smoothly. The drinks, food and atmosphere made for a perfect night. Every member of staff complimented the venue and it was a great success. I would definitely recommend using Tonic Social for an event, or just popping there for a nice evening!
O. S.My friends and I can't stop going to Tonic Social. They have really nailed it with both the food and the drinks and we also never feel too dressed up or too dressed down. The staff are very friendly and aren't afraid to have a little joke with you! By far our new favourite spot!
M. T.Located at the corner of busy downtown Bournemouth, only noticed through the metropolis of people enjoying the outdoor space. It was nicely backed up with some nice vibes & drinks...easily recommend & looking forward to going back.
A. F.Tonic Social covers social distancing well and it isn't crowded at all which is why we went in.
It is table service only, which is fine but it would be handy if staff were a bit more attentive to customers. It took quite some time to order our drinks, not because the staff were overly busy but more that they were talking amongst themselves at the bar.
Our waitress was apologetic when she realised. It would also be handy to have a full bar list in terms of gun, whisky, rum and tonics. As customers aren't allowed to the bar, it can't be expected that the waiting staff know every label and type that is stocked.
M. J.Such a lovely little gem! We stumbled up on the bar and were pleasantly surprised by their delicious cocktail offerings and friendly staff.
If you're in the mood for good vibes, good food, great music, delicious cocktails and great service then this is a must! It didn't feel touristy and despite the restrictions around Covid, the staff have created an awesome atmosphere. We first visited on Friday and went back on Saturday. Highly recommended!

V. H.Absolutely love this place! It's a little bit of 'London' that Bournemouth lacked. The interior is absolutely to die for, and each corner offers a different feel. I come here most weekends for coffee and brunch with my friends and we all absolutely love it! The staff are super friendly too and do their best to provide an amazing service.

The live DJs on Saturdays are so fun and leave a great atmosphere to sit and enjoy your drinks! Will always come here for a weekend cocky t :)

N. H.Considering how new tonic social is to Bournemouth, we feel like it is the missing piece. The drinks are great, in particular the cocktails and Pinot Grigio (a personal favourite), but the best part is the staff. In particular Maddie who has always made us feel welcome and always kept us laughing. It’s staff like this that make us keep coming back!
D. T.There is always a great atmosphere in here & a good vibe, even if not many people. Big group this time & when a glass was knocked off a table, one of the staff was meticulous in ensuring every piece of glass was swept up, taking time to clear it up.
