Brilliant service staff are fast with orders for food and you don't have to wait to long for your orders. The venue is clean Staff are kind and respectful and are very pleasant to talk to.Its a very friendly place to eat and drink,fabulous bar and friendly staff would definitely come again

Wonderful little pub. Visited bridgend for the first time yesterday, and my partner and I popped in for a bite to eat. Food perfect and the service even better, lovely lady. Would return to eat again if we were in the area.

Ordered a cocktail as it was supposed to be 2 for 1 as it said on a board in the ladies toilets... £7.99 I paid which I thought was expensive but as it was supposed to be for 2 cocktails it made sense. Until after I paid and mentioned it to the bar staff now I understood the price .... they said no sorry that's not for today (Tuesday 31st May) had 1 then left... its my birthday today aswell lol... maybe they should put a little note underneath saying only on certain days... or the bar staff mention its only 1 cocktail on certain days before paying for it.

My friend Howard and I both had a club sandwich, salad & fries. What a meal, took half of the sandwich home as it was so big, should have known better as it was the second one I had lately. The chicken was nicely cooked the bacon was to die for. The salad had a great dressing on it. Even the fries were good. I comment on fries because most places use them to fill the plate, but they're inedible. But not this one, i loved them. The service and welcome are always without equal. It's the same young lady, who really does deserve a mention as she is an asset to this business. We keep returning each week.

Bridgend wasn't the most interesting of places to visit as there isn't much to see in the town but this was a fab little find for lunch. They offer a daily specials double up menu for just over £5 and the food was delicious and extremely generous. Would most definitely revisit this pub, not just for the food but the staff were lovely and friendly too. My family and I loved the atmosphere.

Tremendous deal on Mondays. Just had the cod platter for 5.49. Lovely piece of cod with mushy peas, a sausage in batter, chips, curry sauce, bread and butter and Tatar sauce. Lovely meal. Well recommended.

£4 for 25ml Baileys?! I can't remember when I went out. It was around 6th December, at about 10pm? I'd ordered a gin, which was lovely, then a Baileys, which I thought was really small, hence the 3 star review. I know Baileys is expensive but that took the biscuit. I've changed my review to 3 stars as the service was ok.

Barmaid tried serving us slops. I mean actual slops from the drip tray. Poured it into a glass in front of us and put it on the bar like it was done regularly. Couldn't understand why we walked out.

Man fühlt sich direkt wie im eigenen Wohnzimmer. Alle sind freundlich und ausgelassen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und entspannt. Gegessen haben wir nicht aber die Drinks waren gut. Vom Fass ist halt immer besser als aus der Dose. Fazit: sehr zu empfehlen. (Translated) You feel like you're in your own living room. Everyone is friendly and exuberant. The staff is super friendly and relaxed. We didn't eat but the drinks were good. From the barrel is always better than from the can. Conclusion: highly recommended.
