Excellent brewpub which really punches above its weight for craft beer. Their own beers are spectacular. They're friendly, and dog friendly which means you'll never be without excellent company! 10 mins walk from the station so you can make the trip from Cardiff easily.

Welcoming & friendly. Good ales, IPAs and the like. Dog friendly which is always good to know. Plus they had games if you wished to have a game whilst enjoying your drink. No food served. They display a joke outside on their blackboard which always creates a giggle. 👍🏼

Main outlet pub for their own brewery. In addition to their own brews they usually have several guest ales. The emphasis is on modern hoppy beers. Other drinks (from mainly independent suppliers) are available. Often has live music. Was quiet when I visited on a Tuesday.

Nice pub serving a good range of craft ales and ciders. Bit pricey for the area when comparing the prices of the non-craft beers with the other local pubs, but this would prob still be my first choice. Only downside is the lack of parking.

Been there a couple of times now . Seems a nice chilled vibe. They're taking the covid precautions seriously so zap the app on entry then table service. Good selection of ales if you like that sort of thing. Lots of food too, nuts ,crisps or pork scratchings.! 🥴👍

One of the best real ale / craft beer pubs I have visited. The mural on the wall proudly states "No Strongbow, No Fosters, No Stella, No Problem". This isn't a place to go to if you want to drink bland corporate swill. This place is about beer with taste and flavour. 4 hand pumps for cask conditioned, 2 cask conditioned straight from the barrel and 4 craft kegged beers too. The pub is super dog friendly and staff and customers made a huge fuss of our 2 terriers. Will definitely be visiting again and this has now entered my top 5 pubs UK wide.

Amazing pub with a great selection of beers brewed in house, especially love the Rupert Holmes, NEIPA and Sesh. Staff are always fantastic and you can bring food in from the chip shop if you're hungry (or maybe just a battered sausage or two) Happy to have it as my local

Great, authentic pub, with lots of atmosphere, even when quieter. A fantastic range of cask and keg ales, many of which are made on site. Lots of choice for non ale lovers too. Friendly and knowledgeable team helped make it an all round lovely experience, as did the absence of an enormous TV showing sport. Even the loos were lovely and clean. How a pub should be, and will definitely revisit.

If Carlsberg did pubs, it would be awful as the beer is like river water. But here you’ll get awesome beer and a warm welcome. You can bring in chips from the chippy next door, too.
