Fabulous atmosphere always welcoming.
The interior was very dated (1970s, never bothered me) but slowly they're making improvements. Just a great pub.
G. M.Friendly atmosphere while watching the rugby, backroom kitted out with big screen. Food at half time was dodgy but it was free so can't complain too much. It was a chip butty by the way.

S. P.Not a bad place to go for a drink; friendly staff, clean, show sports on TV and standard drinks selection (common beers, lagers, ciders etc.) and well priced - pretty run of the mill.
m. j.Beer has improved a hell of a lot over the last few years. It still looks like it did in the 80s in the bar but the lounge probably has had an upgrade. Pool table and dart board to entertain.

d. c.O.k. cleaned up quite well from when I was a regular beware though the language in the lounge can be annoying and has been that way for some time you might expect it in the bar but not in the lounge
