Stopped by this pub on Saturday after a day out with friends. There was a dog area outside and the pub even offered treats and water for our pup, which made her feel a lot more relaxed 🥰 the food was delicious and presentation was on point. There was also an outdoor play area for our little girl which we didn't get a chance to walk around and look properly at as we had the dog, but our little girl loved it! Will definitely be visiting again.

Simple is the best,better than all the rest. Lamb skewers is too oily for me,other rest was prefer cooking.Kid are enjoyed it. You should take off the barcode on the table,as we don’t know it “ No ” working.

Had a lovely meal for my friends birthday. They were changing over to a new menu so a few items weren’t available but the food that we had was delicious. The pub has a beautiful beer garden, which we enjoyed some sun and beers beforehand, and the staff were extremely friendly. Would highly recommend!

First appearance was fantastic, got shown to a table decided to go to the bar to order a drink and then found out there was an hour wait for food. As they have an outdoor play area we decided to order food and let the kids go play, upon arriving back to our table we noticed tables around us that had arrived after us had there food(not happy). We questioned this and our food promptly arrived, 3 roast dinners and all roast potatoes were black so had to get them replaced. The food was great otherwise but felt like a long afternoon, there was no manager front of house to deal with any problems but the member of staff we did deal with(Meg) was fantastic and dealt with the situation very well and even used her discount on our bill, she actually made us feel we could return even after the issues.

After spending a truly lovely evening dining here I sit here with a full belly well and truly impressed with what a unique and lovely place this is. Such a very warm welcome amea our waitress couldn't do enough for us. As i confess i am a fussy eater and they cooked everything the way i like it.The management and all the staff need to take a bow. We took my mother father and brother in law they have not been for a family meal for 4-5 years due to 2 of them being disabled. But here was accommodating really good for disabled. Good food clean place friendly staff always willing to accommodate we changed table from a room with a party no problems I can't comment on the alcohol drinks as I don't drink it. The summer time is good plenty of space outside tables umbrellas and good parking. Nice place for couples or party's or a group of friends, prices are very good so is the food.

The pub is lovely, there is a lovely outside play area with lots of tables which have plenty of room between so parents/carers can easily watch over the children play with a perfect view from every table, the play area is also completely enclosed so little munchkins can't escape!!! We visited on Saturday afternoon and it was just in time as lots of people arrived literally as we placed an order for food for 5 adults and 6 children!!! The food arrived a little staggered but never the less it was hot and fresh!!! Now for the not so good bit, unfortunately my meal had to be returned, not because it was cold, or the wrong meal but because of a rogue very long hair- HOWEVER!!!!! The meal was replaced including the half eaten poppadoms (I opted for the vegan curry, which was absolutely delicious 😋 and I devoured the lot- once it had been replaced) - no I wasn't expecting money back, free drinks or anything like that, just a new fresh meal, which came out about 20 minutes later, piping hot and hair free, and I devoured the lot!!! The manager came out and sincerely apologised, to which I was very thankful for doing, it was busy, with lots of other meals coming out to lots of other families, it was extremely hot weather and having worked as a waitress in a popular pub in Wenvoe many years back, I completely understand the pressures the chefs and waiting staff are all put under on weekends and particularly when the weather is amazing, so really hats off to them all, to simply replace my meal with no fuss, no bother and quickly too considering the conditions they were under last weekend!! This review is not by anyway to berate the pub or the food or the staff, this was really to point out that out of 12 meals, that were all delivered fresh, hot and delicious and all eaten without a crumb to spare for the sparrows, there was only one issue with 1 meal which was quickly changed. I really don't see the point in leaving a slating review, perhaps if half the menu had run out or the staff were rude or ignorant (which this was not the case) it was just 1 meal. Everything else was just lovely and I have no reason to say anything bad. Inside the pub was clean, tidy with laid up tables, the toilets were clean (perhaps checks on loo roll !!?? As 2 of the toilets in the ladies had run out, I would have told staff, but they were knee deep with customers, so hopefully a member of staff will see this review and just make a mental note. All in all we had a lovely couple of hours there and will most definitely return especially as its perfect for our children to burn off some energy and a lovely beer garden to sit in and enjoy and relax. It's also right next door to the shopping outlet McCarthur Glen in Bridgend, so after a hard day shopping, it's the perfect place to go to the quench one's thirst and refuel on energy with a meal. The menu isn't extensive, which I find much better as it caters for everyone, and with all those with different dietary requirements ( in our party we had a vegan and our son who has dairy and egg allergy and his meal was carefully checked) but it's simple and covers the basic type of meals that people would generally choose from. So if you get the chance, ir are simply looking for a new place to try, go here and try it out, honestly, you won't be disappointed!! I hope my review is helpful, and the staff and management feel I've given a fair, if not good review! We will definitely be back again, there's no doubt about that!!

Lovely welcome as we came in from all members of staff who each made a point to say hello. The venue looked extremely clean and tidy. I’m not sure if the place has been redecorated recently? But all of the decor was of a high standard and made me feel like I was in a new property. The service we received was friendly, quick and helpful. All of the food looked and tasted delicious. The prices for the good food quality and drinks was very reasonable. We used both the app/website by scanning the QR code on the table and also placed orders at the bar. No issues at the bar but did find the app/website had difficulty processing our main meal orders, so completed those at the bar. The app/website worked fine for ordering drinks and desserts though. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Ty-Arisha last night and have already recommended to other friends that I eat with regularly that we should make the Ty-Risha a frequent place to enjoy.

We came here for fathers day and our meal was fantastic we came the Monday before Xmas and again our meal was fantastic so I was so disappointed on Xmas day with my dinner I sent it back as it was cold my plate was full of roast potatoes brocoli was hard so were the sprouts so I only eat the parsnips the waitress was lovely and very concerned so disappointed as we have had nice meals before

Me and my wife went for our first date in ages and from entering the restaurant the staff were friendly and attentive I ordered the pate for starter it was incredible. Then we both had a burger with pulled beef which has been cooked in gravy nothing left on the plate when we had finished it was amazing!! Then we finished with the chocolate fudge cake yum. Food was amazing, service was amazing and price was amazing. Highly recommend this place for a nice tasty meal. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful. Thank you.

Haven't been here for a couple of years and in all fairness not much has changed. The park is basic and rundown. Other than that the interior is quite nice there's ample parking and and the quality of the food is great. High chairs are available for kids who require them. And the food and drink is reasonably priced considering it's Bridgend. Staff were friendly and nice a pity I couldn't say the same about my kids.

Daytime meal with friends and one person ordered Lamb well done (not advised on menu I should add) and it was a little tough, after speaking to the staff they removed from the bill, so don’t be afraid to speak to the staff if your not satisfied with something. Booked a last minute slot on a Sunday evening. Was pre warned a possible 60 min wait for food. I don't normally go for a mixed grill but a customer's looked very inviting on the way through. So 2 mixed grill were promptly ordered, both very good meat, not your normal offcuts or salty gammon peice. Can say they were the best looking and tasting mixed grills we 've had, and lots of it, the doggy bag did make our dogs happy. Only critism was they had run out of English mustard. Will return again.

My sister and I ate here for the first time this evening and we know we're now going to be regulars! The food was absolutely delicious and the chips were the best we've ever tasted. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sauces were incredible!! Also the prawn cocktail starter was fresh and gorgeous! Added to this the service was fabulous and the atmosphere great and we'd give 10 out of 10 for everything! Oh and as a ps the toilets were very clean too!

Been there 5 times over the last few months. I've enjoyed every meal. I've had scampi a few times. I had the BEST Club Sandwich I've ever had! You can choose your bread and unlike other Club Sandwiches it has egg+cheese in it. It was soooo good! The photo below I had a chicken burger BUT it was a chicken burger like no other! It was a chicken breast in batter and there was buttermilk in the batter and it tasted AMAZING and was lovely and crunchy. There is also a dog section. They have dog treats and they give you bowls for water. There are great scenic walks nearby and you can finish it by coming in for a meal to replenish. It's a big place so there are other sections where your nowhere near the dog section. So if you don't like dogs don't worry you can be nowhere near them. Definitely recommend it there. If Amea is there then you'll be well looked after. She's really helpful and friendly. Enjoy! 👍😋😁

Visiting from Canada, my cousins took me to Tyrisha for Sunday brunch. The service was amazing, and the food was wonderful. I had traditional Welsh Lamb Ffaggots and peas, and it was everything I remembered, my cousin and wife had the sharing dinner, and I was absolutely gobsmacked at the amount of food, the presentation and the affordability of their meal. Hope to go back again before I leave for Canada

I visited this evening at 1730, and I must say I am absolutely chuffed with the service and also the food received. I ordered a steak which was cooked to perfection, we also ordered 2 taverners chicken burgers, which was absolutely stunning. Next we ordered puddings, which made the whole dining worth it. Pudding size was fantastic - unlike the red dragon. Our server Richard, was more than helpful & very friendly, ensuring our visit was of satisfactory quality. I am sure to visit again, and also recommend to my friends and family

Rated this as a 5 star Country Pub. Surprisingly just around the corner from a large shopping mall it is set in its own grounds with ample parking and well kept lawns.Inside the pub was a large bar area with log fire and large dining room.The menu is standard Pub grub which is what we wanted..The portions are large and the food delicious.The staff are well trained friendly and attentive which made our visit enjoyable.Definately coming back when next in the area.

I dont know whether you've had a change in chefs but today's food was nothing like the previous times we've been. Sunday roast veg was cooked so much it was basically mashed veg. Stuffing was cold at centre and ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which should have been called cauliflower soup. I order steak medium/ rare. Instead was like beef Jerky. If your chefs can't cook a steak don't bother. The only tasty thing on my plate was the side of garlic bread. The whole point of a restaurant is to be cooked food better than what you can prepare. Sadly today they failed. Staff however amazing as ever, sadly the food not up to scratch.

Was able to get a table of six at short notice. We were able to bring our well behaved dog into the bag area which had ample seating for food. Dog area had bowl, dog poo bags and treats! Excellent for a great bite and friendly staff too. The pub has a warm old kinda feeling from pubs back in the day. Check out their meal deals. They are excellent value for money. I had the good ole fish and chips with mushy peas which was cooked to perfection and left me wanting more. I'm a great lover of dessert after my meal. I had a double chocolate fudge cake with ice-cream. If the sound of that is making your mouth water, that's exactly what it did to me. I was surprised at the large servings, but not complaining 😁I'd never visited this pub before but will definitely be visiting again.

We have been visiting Ty Risha for a couple of years now. We are always welcomed with open arms with Amea. She looks after us, including our dog Jensen. The meals and service from Amea has always been of the highest standard. Nothing is too much trouble for her. I would recommend Ty Risha and take your dog with you. Thank you Amea. Really nice and chilled out place, I love the fact that you can take your dog and are welcomed by a pet bar. Absolutely great idea. (Although I didn’t take my dog) I Wanted to go somewhere that wasn’t very far for lunch, I haven’t been to Ty-Risha for over a year. The place is looking really good. New manager a gentleman was friendly and very professional, love the cocktail menu, so many refreshing cocktails on offer. Can’t wait to go back and try some others. Had a bbq chicken melt, I didn’t expect it to come with a plate of chips and salad. It was really reasonably priced and it was really lovely. The sun was out and we sat out the front. When I got home I felt totally chilled out. Really good feel to the place 💕 it’s in walking distance for me to take my dog and the park looks amazing for the children at the back. I am definitely going to go over more often

About 100 of us were here for a quiz night for Dogs Trust recently and the staff were very helpful. The buffet food was good and the pub itself is lovely - large but still cosy. Unless I missed the vehicle entrance there wasn't a drop off point right at the door for anyone with mobility problems, but the path is only about 40-50 yards and perhaps it was on the other side of the building. We intend returning for a meal soon.

We went in the evening after a loooong day of retail therapy, so the place wasn't so busy. The staff were attentive, the food was freshly cooked and quick to arrive. We had the evening special menu which was very reasonably priced. Starting with fish goujons, sweet potato chips and salad leaves and progressing to the steak and chips, etc., then finishing with tiramisu with ice cream everything was excellent. The steaks were not the most tender we've eaten, but not too bad and both cooked just as we like them and very flavoursome.

My friend and I took my 22 month old toddler boy for a meal at teatime here on a Thursday. It was a lovely sunny day and we had a table outside close to the outside play area. Although the pub was very understaffed and the staff could be better in appearance, service was with a smile and my little boy loved running around. This also meant that he was in a good enough mood that he actually sat in a highchair and ate a meal. Result!!! I really enjoyed my half roast chicken and half rack of ribs too.
