By far the best cocktail experience I've ever encountered! All the staff were incredible, not breaking character once. Every drink that came out was delicious and the attention to detail was insane! Definitely coming back and recommending to all our friends!

A great night! I had read the good reviews and the experience certainly lived up to them. The warden, officers and other staff were all great and really respond well if you get involved and immersed in the experience... the 'chicken soup' wasn't bad either! ;-) I took a group of work colleagues for an evening out and all of them have said how much they enjoyed it - great for a team or group of friends!

We had such a fun time at Alcotraz Brighton. Every member of the team we came into contact with was pure fun. It made it very easy to enjoy the experience. Drinks were lovely, we were kept busy with activities and interactions and the environment was cool to be in. The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because there was a pretty rowdy hen do which was dominating the room a bit and also you had to drink up quite fast. A little heads up on time remaining would have been great - I got my last double shot cocktail about 15m before the end and had to leave half behind. So yeah, keep an eye on the clock and consider a week day if you’d prefer a quieter performance. But honestly, small potatoes in the scheme of things. It was awesome.

Cracking night out! Went as a group of 10 girls for a 40 birthday. The whole experience is amazing from start to finish. All the actors do a great job of bringing it to life and it's such a laugh. Never done anything like this before, would definitely recommend!

Booked Alcotraz for a hen do, throughly enjoyed the experience. I think a special mention needs to be made to Woody, the bouncer - I had to give myself a time out because as great as the experience was it's extremely overwhelming and a sensory overload at times for an autistic person like myself. He went above and beyond to make sure I was OK and comfortable. Thanks all for making the evening super special, especially for the hen.

What a great experience all the "actors' played their part very well and the cocktails came thick and fast, we were asked if there were any allergies and preference but we just went with the flow and there was a good variety of cocktails ... and a few shots "in the hole'. All in all can't fault it. I have read a few things on here about people not thinking they have drunk all their alcohol but now they hand back what you had left at the end (which wasn't much! ) 🤣

We had a fab time celebrating a hen do here!… all the actors keep in character the entire time and make the experience great!… as a pregnant lady I enjoyed it too, as I was entertained/involved whilst everyone got merry on the cocktails!… (which kept coming quick and strong!) Absolutely brilliant! We were a group of 4 on a 'jurassic park' hen party... the cocktails were a huge surprise- very tasty and kept flowing during our time in the cell. All the staff involved (actors and barmen) made this experience memorable - the accents were amazing and the attitude/banter was just up our street! Soooo friendly and went with the flow... We were lucky enough that all the other cell mates played along and really got involved. Would come back and recommend 👌

Such an amazing experience, the officers, guards and warden were fantastic and playing along with the story really gets you immersed into the experience! Hilarious! This is a wonderful experience and so funny. Everyone should go and experience this. Everyone seems to genuinely enjoy working there and because of this, the experience is all the more enjoyable. Everyone should go to this prison! Oh and the jumpsuits, I was stressed it wouldn’t fit and I’d be called out but it did!! I’m a 24/26 uk, and it fit. I had To remove my jeans in the loo so it fit comfortably but it fit and I felt included. It does get hot in there and I was sweating and Officer Johnson made me a makeshift fan that was brilliant! Truly cannot rate this place any higher. People worried it’ll be claustrophobic, it’s not.‘it’s cozy but the cell doesn’t lock or have a door so you don’t have to worry about that. Just do yourself a favour and book it!

Me and my friends booked this experience expecting a bit of fun... we were blown away with how immersive everything was and the actors could not be faulted once! Such an amazing atmosphere and definitely worth the money. Loved the experience it’s like going to an immersive theatre, you really get to live it. Drinks were ok and served frequently. The experience It’s probably best lived small to larger groups rather than couples or twosome as you will have more fun but we were two of us and still enjoyed it a lot. An amazing time and the guards and warden were excellent and the actors played the roles with a sense of humour while being convincing with their strict rules, especially the female warden who was attractive but probably upset by my letter lol. The prison cells were exactly as you’d imagine and set the scene perfectly. Everybody was wearing the overalls provided and all joined in to make it a laugh. The ‘soup’ (cocktails) were delicious, well-prepared and served in tin-cups by the prison kitchen staff. Although you are ‘locked-up’ for almost two-hours we could easily have stayed longer. A fun time and highly recommended.

Fantastic night out - Great idea. The actors (Guards and Warden) were brilliant, stayed in character and made us all laugh. They’re interactive but still gave our group time to ourselves. The cocktails were tasty! We had 4-5 each (2 x 70cl bottles between a group of 6) and were evenly spread out over the experience. We weren’t left waiting for our drinks but also weren’t rushed. If I could think of a negative.. And never thought I’d say this, but wish we could’ve been sent to solitary confinement to be able to experience that! Overall, definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back!!

We stayed in the Queens Hotel opposite site so was extremely easy to get to. You look at the place from outside and question what you are about to walk into but once the staff come out and start roleplaying the experience becomes very immersive. You walk inside, get your jumpsuit on (which is really comfy), make your way downstairs and get shown into your cell. The place is small so if you are worried about covid i would not recommend going. The actors did a fine job portraying their roles and the story behind the experience is hilarious. The drinks are sensational. Don’t be afraid if you are too shy to engage with the actors they will carry you. Just means you may have to suffer a light hearted insult. It’s all humorously entertaining. I tried flirting with the warden to get her out of character but she was very professional. Would have loved to stay longer and have many more drinks but you are limited to about two hours. You bring your own booz and they make cocktails for you. We went with sweet and sour cocktails using gin and disaronno. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend to everyone.
