Such a fantastic experience. I went for my stag do last week and had the best time. I couldn't recommend this more highly. If you are looking for a relaxed party atmosphere, this is the place to go. The whole team made me feel so welcome so a huge thank you to you all.

I visited the Studio space above the main bar for a cabaret/variety performance and it was a really nice little venue, good atmosphere and friendly bar staff, drinks were a tad dear but it's what you'd expect that near the seafront, will definitely be heading back

A 'musical' bar, with show tunes usually playing on TV screens around the bar area. Nice atmosphere in here, and a very similar style to Oscars in Manchester. Great beer (Kozel) and often live entertainment. Oh, and free popcorn, usually.

Best atmosphere, best staff, best nights ever. If you want a slightly more sophisticated night, with the option to enjoy a quieter drink upstairs in the cabaret bar, this is your place. And if you love musicals, well, this will become your favourite place!

Perfect if you want to scream showtunes at the top of your lungs. Great when it's busy but also great if you go early and it's empty and you have the place to yourself and the bartender puts on all your group's random requests and deals with you all singing very loudly

If you are looking for songs from musicals played loudly, screens with the words to help you sing along and a raucous sing a long Bar Broadway never disappoints. Friendly atmosphere, good bar staff and well priced its the place you pop in for one and end up staying all evening.....

Fabulous, lively bar playing pretty much nothing but musicals. Had an awesome night! Highly recommended. Only downside is perhaps a limited selection of draught beers - but they have Kozel so we were happy

Had a great night here once. Drinks were not cheap but not too expensive either. They played show tunes and classical musical numbers on the TVs which is a great laugh if your into that sort of thing and feel like singing alot. Very central too so easy to grab food or a cab afterwards.

Intimate space with video screens playing jhits from the musicals. Friendly staff but can get very very crowded. The venue has a small stage area. Seemingly the patrons are mostly gay males, with women coming in a bit later. Toilets are down a narrow set of stairs. Not wheelchair friendly.

Great little, well quite big, tucked away bar off the main St James St. Playing music from the musicals past an present on their screens along with live entertainment some nights (check their website for more details) along with events upstairs. This is a place you need to visit, if only for the slightly more off the beaten track range of lagers and beers on tap, friendly staff and even movie nights with free popcorn!

It a whole lot of fun, with some great music. You may need to stay late for it to really pack out though, but that's Brighton for you.

One of Brighton's hidden gems. Tucked away just off St James Street, a friendly, fun bar playing music from films and musicals. A really nice crowd making it a great place to go on the weekend or for a relaxed drink during the week.

Modern LGBT culture is so different in Central London that it was such a pleasure to experience what the 80's at least would've been like here at the Bar Broadway. Drag performers instead of lip sync actually sing the show-tunes. Perhaps a bit Cliché in the mind of some, as this place can come across being too stereo typical for a gay bar. Yet, its a good reminder where all LGBT entertainment started. Its a new place, so its not a relic struggling to survive. So I am guessing this will appeal to many trying to find something different. The big flat screens hung in the bar, instead of showing some cliche gay tunes, shows a mix of both old and new music videos (from Sound of Music or even older to Glee), this was quite refreshing. One minute you were listening to Julie Andrews rolling on the hills to Kurt (our famous Glee dude;) singing and Ice skating in New York. . . The place is definitely at an interesting place in Kemp town, and the alcohol was cheap, I was told, its just Brighton ;) so there's plenty of opportunity to get completely smashed. There're golden toilet seat covers to make you feel like a queen. A close by Kebab place will provide your greasy fix before your next day's hangover!! Please do pop in and support the LGBT community of Brighton!!

NOT DISABLED ACCESS/WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. Tiny pavements, no turning circle, small doors and big ridge into door. Very hard to get into.. but staff are friendly and atmosphere is good
