One of the nicest pubs I've ever been in !!!! A lovely ,warm friendly atmosphere. Great service from the Aussie barman, and a fantastic coffee and Guinness!!!! Will definitely come here again when we're in the area...

Visit was pre-COVID. Nice, friendly pub. Had a half pint of Sussex Best Bitter. They had the front doors open and the weather was not very pleasant so jackets never came off.

I had one of the best experiences in Brighton by walking into this place. Yes, the beer was good, and not outrageously priced, so that was nice, but it was the people I met! They welcomed me in and I felt like family. The Scottish man and the friendly bartender who’s been working there for 7 years, the old man with the epic hat he bought for £30, all made my stay wonderful. If you have the chance, check out this cute little pub ❤️

the landlord was very welcoming and friendly, our group only intended to stay for one drink before catching our train home but we ended up staying a lot longer. it was a fun afternoon which rounded off our wkend stay in Brighton very well

Quaint pub with two enormous tables taking up most of the seating area so communal seating might be the order of the day when it gets busy. Free WiFi No food served that I could tell, don't think there's room for it. However, there is mention of a function space with catering and entertainment available. By my seat is a tribute to 'Spyke' (David Batchelor) who would sit here with his dog, and sometimes his rat! Clean and tidy as well as clean and maintained toilets.

This is my favourite pub in Brighton. The bar staff are charming, constantly thinking of new ideas for the pub. They now have live music often, which is a real treat.

Brighton Tavern is my local public house at the end of my road! Friendly, cheaper than majority of bars around my area! Also Tony, bar staff are considerate about their neighbour's around them so drinks are indoors by 10pm.

Love this pub yes they could do better but who can not in this life er everyone wheelchair access is a problem getting to the loo if in a wheelchair is very difficult. Need to sell food if need a chef I am a gem dealer but if I would put in my mouth I would serve it. Yes I can cook and burgers are the way forward. How about a 10er with a pint handmade cheese burger 100% hand ground beef chilli jam and onion rings with salad or not depending on the eater.

I am somewhat of a pubaholic and up for trying out new places. This pub ideal for catching pm sunrays. Once inside working fireplace a + on a nippy Feb. Bar staff friendly. Atmostphere totally chilled and relaxing music where you can actually have a conversation. Well lit from southfacing window will surely lift up any downtrodden souls. Will definitely stop by when on this side of town.
