k.Very nice traditional pub ! Good selection of beer on tap, good amount of tables and sitting area. There is outdoor garden - looks good but haven’t used it. There was a fire on which creates nice cosy atmosphere, also ordered some Thai food, really tasty and worth recommending
C. M.Visited for a Sunday roast after friends mentioned it being well known for its food for a number of years and enjoyed our meal immensely! Didn't have a booking but we're able to find space thankfully. The courtyard is a great space at the back with heaters and overall it's a lovely cosy place for a few drinks this Autumn with a great selection of beers. I recommend a visit!
E. B.Really lovely and welcoming, food excellent but not regular pub food. If you like curries etc, very good. Roaring fire going the day we went, very nice. Doesn't do hot drinks but we were allowed to buy in the coffee shop across the road and bring in. Also able to bring in the dogs with us.
R. C.Nice pub, proper pub. Was in town for a weekend and went in for a pint on Friday. Stayed for several more because the atmosphere was good, entertaining live music, decent beer and pleasant staff. Nice garden area too. Went back for lunch on Saturday and the Thai food was great.

J. W.Smashing little pub (actually quite big) with decent beers on tap 🍻really nice vibe and a spot on smoking area which is covered and has loads of heaters! Always a bonus in winter. Was fairly lively for a Thursday night so can imagine it would be decent on the weekend. Best pub on the street, will be going back for sure. Keep doing what your doing.
