Amazing burgers and food, great atmosphere, inside is decorated like the inside of a ship, outside lots of benches and places to sit. Ordered medium cooked burgers as asked how we like them, mine was a bit rare but swapped with husbands which was more well done. Two very happy customers, will definitely return next time we are in Brighton 🙂 ps. Pic is after I cut the burger in half as it was massive 😋

Epic location in Brighton and a really nice atmosphere. Stayed till late and was surprised by the banging music / line-up. Well worth a visit when visiting the south coast.

Food took far too long to arrive (50 minutes), apparently there was a backlog of orders, possibly short staffed {inside the restaurant was empty, outside were around 20 people}. When it did arrive, it was lovely and comforting but pricey for what it is. Would rate higher but the service was lacking in far too many places. The tables inside don't look sanitary with the staff not cleaning often in between meals.

I have walked past this place so moany times, and even say outside on occasion, but I was so surprised by the big interior with all those personal areas. A great place to go with a small group or intimate drink if you want some privacy, yet still big and busy. Worth a visit if by the beach and looking for a drinking hole, or more.

Had fun with my Scottish accent and wearing a mask, talking to an ozzie. I asked for old mouth cider. He gave me oat milk. Healthiest I've been for ages. Great place. Well worth the visit.

I had made a booking weeks ago at The Tempest Inn indoors for 4. When I arrived, we were seated straight away. It definitely had the feel of being in a cave, also a broom cupboard. We couldn't hear the music either, it was tiny and a bit dingy. We got up to go to the bar which was located outside. When we came back, some girls had been seated at our table. We let the staff know and asked if we could move outside as the weather was decent. The waitress apologised and found us a table which was great. The place had a good atmosphere. The music was house and there was a d.j playing outside. After a few drinks, we were up dancing. My friend absolutely loved the place, I would've been happy to move on. It's worth a visit, but I'm not sure about the indoor seating. But that was just my experience.

Went for a Christmas work meal. Great atmosphere and really tasty, homely food. Had the vegan options (ate the brownie and ice cream too quick to take a photo!) which were a pleasant surprise. Only quibble is that the drinks were quite pricey and they had run out of the wellington so my colleague couldn't have one. They offered to make something else but everyone would have eaten by then so ended up giving her half of mine. Would go back though!

Went with a large party of friends last weekend and we had such a fun time! Sarah and Georgina were so friendly and helpful and our group grew a bit and with their help they were able to accommodate our needs! It was super fun and great for a birthday and large group! The bathrooms are also really updated and nice too! I drank so much I can’t remember the food haha but definitely a great place to go when the sun is out in the patio ❤️❤️

Great night out, door staff and bar staff were overall very lovely and welcoming, especially the Chinese doorman, he was very amusing and friendly we talked about Uncle Roger. Would highly recommend the music and vibes made it a pleasantly eventful night.

An hour in and food has still yet to arrive. For such a simple menu, and digital ordering, you’d think it would be a tad faster - especially when we are given a time limit on how long we have at the table. This said, our server came out and was apologetic about the delay and provided a complementary coleslaw... and the food is dang delicious. (Cheers to the owner for his genuine greatness)

Lovely, on the beach. Gets very busy and the placing of the portaloos is unfortunate. Staff didn't know the menu (is the kimchi salad in small plates just salad???) But the menu itself is well labelled got allergens. Tofu poke bowl.

Six of us showed up at the Tempest Inn at the busiest time and without a reservation. The Manager Owen did the impossible, he asked us to hang around for a few minutes and he would still be able to find us a table, which he did and a great evening was had by all.

Very good food. But make sure you bring ID as they are very funny about ID even when you are 30/35 years old they won’t serve without it. Plus they have dogs on the tables which is unhygienic.

WOW!!! The bottomless brunch here is unbeatable. Unreal views of the seaside, the atmosphere was perfect - so fun and relaxed. The service was incredible, we never had an empty glass and Sarah and Ellen in particular were attentive and friendly 💕 The fry up included was really delicious and filling. The egg was perfectly runny, bacon cripsy and could tell the bread was freshly baked 🤤 Got way more than our money's worth. SO impressed, will definitely be returning, one of the only bottomless brunches in Brighton where they actually leave you with the bottle! ♥️

Had a great time last night, really cool place to visit, nice vibe! Had a really lovely time tonight at The Tempest! My friend and I came down to Brighton for the first time today and we found the lovely staff at The Tempest to be very accommodating, efficient and friendly. We sincerely appreciate the venue going out of their way to re-seat us away from a noisier crowd. And of course, for the amazing Loaded Fries. Thank You :) Will be returning!

Nice to sit outside during the summer and quite cosy during the winter with the cave like feel. They do a very reasonable bottomless brunch for £20, much better value than another one I went to elsewhere as it really was bottomless and the staff were not tight with the prosecco! Great outside space so that you can sit in the sun and enjoy Brighton at it's best. The inside is a little weird being a cave complex with some low ceilings but it has it's charm in the fact that it is different. Will be much nice once the renovation works further down are done

The food here is delicious and I loved the hidden cave setting, its a really funky bar. It was a shame there were only 2 people working when we went at around 5.30pm but food still came out quickly and tasted great. Bar worker was a little bit overpowering though trying to upsell and kept coming to our table to check on us so the atmosphere could have been a bit better.

Really nice cave style sea front pub/restaurant wirh lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Furthermore you have the option to take your drink right on to the beach. The seating offers secluded areas for private meet ups as well as larger spaces for groups. The food is of good quality and the price is decent. There are plenty of toilets upstairs. This is my favourite sea front place to go.

The pizzas are good but could do with more food options. The staff are lovely and it's a great spot for sun lounging and getting to meet new friends. Sound system can clash with their neighbours at times but this tends to be at a point in the night when most of us can only hear bass anyway. The place for a jug of Pimm's.

Having been to the tempest inn on several occasions I've always found it to be a great day/evening. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is plenty of outside space and seating. I've never had a meal but have had snacks & the Clam Chowder Fries are to die for!!... very dog friendly. Would highly recommend & I will be frequenting the Tempest Inn again.

Pretty nice place. Staff are friendly. The entire inside has been modelled to look like a sea cave, which is pretty cool, and also creates some quite nice acoustic affects, which mean the music is loud enough to bop along to, but you can also hear each other speak.

Went here for my Daughter's Birthday celebration. Great setting. It was a sunny day and it seemed everyone wanted to be on Brighton seafront. Shame that The Tempest owners didn't see the forecast. Right at at the heart of the seafront, really busy. Has Has a cave like deco very peculiar with stone age murals around. It's a large venue and has 2 stories for clubbing. Terrace facing the sea. Serves food. We, funny enough, went to a baby disco event there.
