Average food, small portions. My Sunday roast (pork) had only 3, overcooked, dry, pieces of pork. Yorkshire pudding tasted more like bread. The place is nice and comfy for drinks but not for food.

Going on Euro start day didn't give the usual experience - very noisy etc. but full marks to the staff for finding somewhere quiet for us to sit. Despite the large number of customers, service was excellent and Sunday roast was decent.

Fabulous pub in a very nice area of Brighton. Large beer garden which gets the sun for most of the afternoon plus tables out front as well. Good selection of good. Well worth a visit.

Love this Pub.. Been going here for a long time although haven't been throughout this winter. The service is always lovely. The manager always polite, happy acknowledge his patrons always asks how your day has been etc Love the garden at the back, dogs are welcome. Sunday dinner used to be amazing, I hope they still do Sunday dinners as will be back in spring.

Good pub, friendly staff, roaring fire place. Our roasts were cold when they were brought out but the veg wasn't over cooked. Could have been saved by giving us a big jug of steaming gravy.

Never too busy, the Crescent has a sunny little garden which is dog friendly and very relaxed. The pub itself has a good drinks selection, including Long Man brewery on cask. The food is usually pretty good too.

Nice little pub with a good outside area, was there for their Wednesday deal on burgers, have been before and think the food quality has suffered a small bit as was better a few years back. Still an enjoyable place to go to with an all right selection of drinks.

The Crescent is a veritable Oasis with it's walled courtyard tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton. Lovely service and tasty menu of good quality and value. Excellent service from the friendly management. I'll be back!

I had a chicken Cesar salad here and though its pretty expensive for what it is (2 mains and 2 drinks were £40!) I was pleasantly surprised with the salad. The chicken was definatly chargrilled and the croutons were actually the best croutons I've ever had. I think it was pea shoots on top and flippin Eck they were tasty. My partner had a big burger and said it was cracking.

This was a little gem of a discovery! Not even looking for a pub and true Mr Benn style, one appeared. Great garden in the back, cracking food and lots of stuff going on. Have been back, always the measure of somewhere good!

Great food! Their classic burger is one of the best I've had in Brighton - in my opinion as good or better than Coggins. It's a nice quiet local pub a bit out of the center of Brighton. Beer selection is only standard but not extraordinary - harveys, guinness, 1664, etc and Blue Moon. It's only getting 4 stars rather than 5 because there are so many other pubs in Brighton that also serve good food and have a better selection of beer. It also has a nice quiet garden out back.

The £6.50 lunch deal is just the ticket when you're tired of not being able to get a seat in a Seven Dials café. I recommend the fish finger sandwich with fat chips and a lime and soda.

After a 7 hour drive from Manchester to Brighton, a much needed chicken and bacon burger and pint of craft ale hut the spot exactly. A good setting as well .
