I have lived in this road for 10years. The Rock Inn is my favourite place in Brighton. The staff are just lovely and the food is great, not to mention the locals. They have a great outdoor garden.
The Sunday lunches and mushroom nut roast is the best ive had.
The curry is fab and now there is African menu too. I cant wait to try the food!!!
I highly recommend this place.......

It's a lovely British pub, really good to mix with local people, have a drink and play pool. You can go everywhere else but, if you go to the Mad Hatter you will have a real British experience.

I've always enjoyed my time here. It's a nice pub, a good beer garden, and games room upstairs and a private bar downstairs if you wish. It has a good community vibe going on here.

This is little diamond around St. James's Street... IT has good choice of drinks, choice of two outdoor places to enjoy good music and company of your friends. Even cheese karaoke night turns to great fun

Really friendly and attentive service. Check out the back room. The barman made us a cosy fire, procured an impromptu cheese board (not officially on the menu until Sunday) whilst dealing with the regular Friday night crowd. This is a hidden gem at the far east end of Kemp Town. It even has a garden and pizza. What more could you ask for?

Lovely quirky pub. Friendly , relaxed atmosphere and nice food. Nice to have a proper Brighton person running the pub (Brightonian). I love your pub Mr McCue (Brightonian), we love you
Sick of those f... Londoners, which move down here, and then after a couple of years of living here, they then refer to themselves as Brightonians, how dare they! As real Brightonians (born and bred)say, if its so good in London, then why dont you stay there.
