It was superb! Amazing Sunday roast! I can truly recommend four meats Sunday roast, especially men. They will be satisfied with it. Besides Staff was polite.

Fantastic place for Sunday lunch. So often a pub Sunday lunch is disappointing in some way but not here. Excellent cooking throughout, the meat was exceptional. Definitely the best we have eaten in Brighton/Hove. Friendly service from the landlord, with good beer on tap, and the dog was welcome too. What's not to like!

Gorgeous roast lamb, everything done to perfection topped with a gorgeous gravy. Desserts were melt in the mouth delicious and staff lovely. Pub bar and decor is 👌🏼. Definitely worth a visit. 🤩

A great experience ruined! This is a real gem of a pub! Great food and lovely staff. Just be sure to check the table time slot. We were asked to leave our Sunday lunch after 1h 30mins (1h 15mins in). Left without dessert and coffee, which we were looking forward to. Such a shame.

Very nice pub, our first visit here since they reopened. The bar staff were very friendly & the alcohol selection was good. We had a lamb roast & a beef roast & they were both excellent, the beef in particularly so. Worth a visit!

The best Sunday roast I have ever eaten in a pub. The lamb was tender. It was the balls of stuffing that were truly amazing - in a delicious gravy of their own. It may not be in the centre of town but it is worth the detour.

It's a funny old pub... They are trying really hard and deserve support from the community but there's something weird about the vibe... I think the ceilings are too high...

Really glad this reopened, smaller and more manageable. Good selection, open fire roaring away, happy days. Keep going folks or they'll shut it again! Parking is impossible round here so c'mon locals get down there n keep it alive. Thanks guys
