The Font is great, it's an impressive two-floor open converted church with a bit of a modern twist. Olivia and the rest of the team there are very friendly and accommodating, they have a solid selection of drinks and the food is very nice for the price. The cocktail selection is fairly simple, but the Surfer's Paradise they have there is supprisingly nice. I couldn't recommend The Font highly enough.

The layout is very nice and having that DJ booth above the bar is very unique and cool! They have £1.50 pint deal if you get a burger so the drinks prices to dine are not that bad. But it is the usual £5+ to buy a standard pint. Which is great when theres perhaps a game or event on but when its just the standard pub its disappointing. Especially as this place used to be a lot cheaper.

Stumbled upon the Font whilst in Brighton for the weekend with the dogs & looking for somewhere to watch the Mighty Reds take on Man. Utd. Little did I know that it is a bastion for supporters of LFC with an amazing atmosphere especially when we're trouncing them 5 -0. Ale is g8 ; I had Camdens pale ale & the staff especially Amy & Sophie ( on the door) were helpful beyond belief. A must go to place for any Scouser wanting to watch the match in a convivial atmosphere.

What a place! Tucked away but well worth the hunt. Genuinely had no idea where my pal had sorted as a place to meet. Absolutely ideal. Beer good, staff friendly , nice relaxed vibe and I felt closer to god - which is always good.

Our waiter Sam was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us, really went above and beyond and made mine and my friends 30th birthday unforgettable! The food was unreal! The bar tender Aaron was also absolutely amazing, friendly and so efficient ! Thank you so much for having us!

Great food and drink options! Lots of choice and i love the set up, really cool church converted into a pub. They show sports, i watched the rugby and then after they have a dj and play music and have disco lights for the party vibe. I went on a saturday, really enjoyed it, got something for everyone.

This is a really interesting pub in the lanes close to the Bath Arms another really nice pub. As the name suggests it is an old converted church. A small one. Definitely worth a visit. I have only been there once so far but I would like to visit again. They do serve food but I cannot comment as I haven't eaten there. It's on two levels and is very recognisable as a church still. The staff were extremely friendly and I thought it was very reasonable price wise. I can imagine it gets packed at the weekend but we were there early evening mid week so it was really quiet but I enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visit.

Great gaff. Bouncer tempted us in - we were unsure why the place required doormen. Then when inside and realised why, we understood yet had a great time. The table was sturdy yet , due to the fact we we’re by the door we felt the cold frequently. This could have been avoided had the doormen kept the door closed . It was a cool venue and I liked the decor, and the drinks were fine. However it was so loud we couldn't talk to each other! We made the mistake of visiting during a football match. The venue was completely full of shouting men, and my partner and I agreed that the pub felt very much like a Wetherspoons. We had our drinks and left as quickly as possible and, despite the cheap drinks menu, won't be coming back.

Myself and 3 friends visited The Font on a 4 night stay in Brighton last weekend (we are from Sheffield, South Yorkshire) to celebrate myself and my friend's 60th birthday and found it to be a great place. Lovely place, very welcoming staff. Great DJ playing music and videos (1980s onwards) Felt very secure. A little later into the night 2 guys near us were having a bit of a fall out - the 2 security staff (a female and a male) didn't waste any time in interjecting, spoke to both guys and split them up, therefore resolving the problem. We spoke to the Manager, (asked him his name - Mark) and thanked him for having such good staff. We also noticed that during the evening Mark and his staff were looking/patrolling the pub and seemed very vigilant ensuring a safe environment. We would certainly visit again and would highly recommend.

I came in a week or two ago and got really good recommendations from Chey, I ended up getting a blue lagoon and the alright princess with apple juice (there is currently a shortage in cranberry juice), both cocktails were well made and tasted great, and Chey was really friendly and had great chat xx After such a positive experience I decided to visit again and was served by Will and Olive both were really easy to talk to and advised me about the drinks on offer! I will definitely be coming again with some friends as service has been great and very welcoming!! Thank you guys :)

The food was absolutely delicious! I couldn't say enough good things and when we expressed how happy we were with the food the chef was extremely humble. Not the best and not the worst. They are doing their best around covid I guess. Some gusts did not have modern phones so cannot scan in. We asked to write in our details,but the pub was not doing this so had to b9k people in on other people's phones. Went here to watch the Euros football and it was well controlled, not crowded, bookings only. Service was swift enough and the big screen in the gallery upstairs was quite cool. Plenty of decent sized screens elsewhere too. Didn't eat so can't comment on that. The gents loo was disgusting by 21:00 and didn't get cleaned up while we were there tho but sadly I guess that's to be expected

The Font used to be an old church and the atmosphere really hits it. You can sit, dance and drink not only downstairs but also upstairs and enjoy a good view down to the bar. They're mostly playing pop and 90s music.The drinks are not expensive and they've a range selection. On Tuesday they have special offers for students.

Cocktails are great value for money, however their website where you order drinks from went down whilst we were there, asked downstairs for someone to come take our order and no one came, the manager who was working was rather rude, also staff gave us wrong drinks twice. Servers looked rushed which was a shame because they were nice.

Staff are always helpful and friendly and with Covid they are first class with abiding by the rules, you feel extremely safe .They offer a very good menu at affordable prices and it doesn't take that long for your order yo arrive .The cliental ages are quite mixed, people having a drink after work and people coming in later more dressed up for an evening out .I really like using this pub

Without a doubt the safest and calmest I have felt whilst drinking and dining out in a post lock down world. The staff are friendly and attentive to all tables (I even saw them patiently telling the table next to us to quite down as they where shouting between tables which clearly this isn't allowed during a global pandemic!). There are many venues in Brighton that I have lost respect for as they continue to cram people in against government guidelines. The Font is certainly not one of them. Make sure to make the most of the Eat out to Help out scheme - the food is already cheap but with the discount it's even better!

The place was refurbished just recently but I can't really tell much of a difference. Prices are okay but this pub tends to be overcrowded during student nights and it's basically impossible to hear what the person next to you is saying because of the music being unnecessarily loud. 3/5 all considered, I guess it can be appealing to others but not my personal favourite.

Welcome to the church of live sport. This is an amazing venue, with a viewing balcony (seating only, and you'll be admonished if you try to stand) overlooking the bar and with a giant projector screen. Lots of other screens dotted around and, while live Premiership football was on the big screen, the staff were kind enough to put the F1 Grand Prix on another TV close to where we were sitting. All the staff we spoke to were more than welcoming and we felt right at home. The spicy veggie burger was phenomenal too.

I would to send a big thank you to the bar staff Arron & Keira, who were so helpful ,it was my birthday, and I lost the most sentimental thing my mums ring. I knew it was in the pub but I could not find the stone, they both took time to look for me and Arron found it in the toilet, he went out of his way to stick his hand in and retrieve it. I was so grateful I cried. Amazing manager for letting them help me, I would love to come back when I am in the area and amazing team, so helpful, friendly they are the best !!
