Me and my girlfriend are just back from a weekend at The Market Inn. Cannot fault the place! Great staff, great food and great accommodation. Always a warm welcome at this pub , management and staff alike are very friendly. Food always looks and tastes delicious and reasonably priced for a pub in the centre of town. The pub is policed very well thru the Covid Virus and you do feel safe sitting inside .

In my eternal quest for funding pubs that welcome single ladies without judgement this is another delightful find. In these days of uncertainty over anything, the landlord gave me the warmest of welcomes. The decor is traditional mahogany with tasteful pieces of stained glass, lovely clean conveniences and good beer and wine. Just off the main streets, close to the shops loads of friendly atmosphere.

We had a great one night stay at the Market Inn was the perfect location to the beach and pubs and the main streets... beautiful cozy clean and upto to the covid restrictions rooms completely safe and secure...staff very polite and friendly & professional...the breakfast was bang on... would highly recommend to book with them...thanks we enjoyed our stay 👌😊👍

Great little pub just on the outskirts of the lanes. Staff are friendly and the overall atmosphere is that of a typical old English pub. Stayed in the rooms above for an impromptu long weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality. Brilliant full english breakfast and coffee bought up to the room in the morning. 100% would recommend to others

Lively bar in the centre of Brighton. The service was great here, a nice selection of real ales. Lot's of people popping in after shopping, plus tourists. Great atmosphere - we went here twice during our 4 day stay and the bar service was exceptionally good. Ideal place to go for a mid afternoon pint.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a couples breakaway. They are absolutely brilliant, the breakfast in the morning is enough to keep you going all day and the staff are friendly and very accomodating. The room is big and the bed so comfy. The location is central and everything is easily accessible. Perfect stay and well worth the price.

Remember this pub when it was the Golden Fleece, not often that we venture into the 'Lanes' these days, so glad we did yesterday. A proper pub, nice comfortable surroundings, busy but not hectic, good choice of ales (Adnams Ghost ship etc), good pub menu, we had the fish & chips (£9-95) everything reasonably priced. Staff friendly, helpful & courteous, some great 70s/80s background music that took us back 30 odd yrs. An absolute delight!

Tribute on tap.....weve been searching all the pubs in Brighton for a good beer and finally found one. Whilst there are some great pubs they lack real beer. This is great. Nice food and great beer choice. Its in the lanes which is lovely. Lovely bar staff.

Very nice pub, just disappointing as the had an offer for food until 9 but at 5pm said there no longer serving food so had a pint, then I cryed into it over the bill. Nearly £10 for two pints.

Very good choice of wines and beautifully kept beer. Nice to have a real pub in a town centre, especially one that's clean and comfortable. Didn't eat as we had a table booked elsewhere but the food looked delicious and we'll be going back to try it.

Traditional pub, with it's old style interior and central bar. Not many of these around, and makes a nice change occasionally. Located within the lanes. Friendly atmosphere albeit a little quiet.

Pleasant pub right in the Lanes. We called in for coffee and the barman suggested we might prefer to go elsewhere as their own coffee wasn't too great. Very honest of him I thought. My mate Darren claims to have seen a couple having sex on a bench in the bar years ago. Doesnt surprise me one bit frankly.

Market inn. We had a quick lunch after visiting the pavillion. I had soup of the day, which was mushroom it was really lovely and very pretty, served with half a warm baguette too much bread for me but soup was lovely. My friend had the scampi and he was very pleased with it finding it very tasty, and a good portion. Would reccomend it highly.

Always a warm welcome. I've only used this venue as a pub, and a traditional one at that with friendly locals. Good selection of drinks available as well as copious amounts of seating, all wheelchair friendly. Good choice of food on the menu which will satisfy even my appetite .

After a long cycle ride it was time for some refreshment. Our group secured our bicycles to whatever was available outside the cafe. A hearty welcome awaited us. Orders taken with a bit of banter. Both ladies behind the counter were very pleasant and because it was our last ride before Christmas, we were offered a plate of mince pies on the house. That's real customer service. A delightful touch. Copious amounts of tea and a large mug of hot chocolate replenished us for the last stage of our ride. A delightful place to visit.
