Quick and efficient service, lovely staff, a solid selection of beverages - beers always tasted nice and fresh to me.
They usually do great food as well, when Corona times changed things a bit - if kitchen was closed, they're happy for customers to order in food deliveries
There's also a neat little beer garden, mostly covered well for rainy days, and a few booths with heaters.
Top all that with good music and a pleasent atmosphere, this one definitely made it to our "go-to" list :)

J. H.A nice little pub. Staff are friendly. I work for Hall & Woodhouse but in the managed house division, so it’s nice to see a Partnership house. They seem to have a nice crowd of regulars but are more than welcoming to anyone. My friend loves Leffe which is one of the reasons we visit!

G. W.Lovely neighbourhood pub tucked away in the centre of Brighton. I want to keep this place a secret, but can't say a bad word about this cute establishment!
M. M.Really friendly and helpful staff, doing their best to make sure everyone is safe and welcome. The 60's ambience is authentic and very well maintained (not a speck of dust in the place!) The food is also lovely! I had the fish and chips, served to me personally by the Chef. The fish was fresh, the batter, crispy and light, the chips, crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle
M. P.Really nice burger from here. Succulent, generous and tasty. Came with French fries, mixed salad and coleslaw, for £10, so a bargain. Good selection of beers The staff are lovely too and a great, local feeling to the place. Very happy to have this as my local for the last 5 years!

G. H.Always a great atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. My main reason for wanting to rave about this pub is the food. I am vegan and have not yet found a better vegan roast in Brighton but now I am loathed to try anywhere else! Now having tried the mid-week meals I can honestly say I also enjoyed the BEST pub grub I have ever had since being vegan. I had THREE choices of main meal and opted for the burger which came with chunky chips, onion rings, homemade coleslaw and mini chutney pots. 10 out of 10. My partner had a steak which he equally enjoyed. I can't wait to come back again. Thanks James & Rachel.
M. G.This pub has benefitted from an excellent change of ownership. The back garden is now a really nice place to sit with friends and family and couldn't be more different that the shabby state it was in before. The food served here is excellent; fresh, modern and innovative. The vegetarian and vegan options are well thought out and really tasty. Try the vegan stroganoff burger it is divine.
The pub gets quite busy in the evening (not surprisingly) but it retains a friendly and relaxed vibe. It is a lovely pub and a credit to it's owner and the great staff she employs.
I. D.One of the best pubs in Brighton. Friendly, great atmosphere, very good and well-kept beer, reasonable prices, and very tasty food. Only downside is that when it is busy on a Sunday afternoon the waiting time for your lunch to arrive after ordering can be a bit long (over 30 mins), but that is due to demand. And some customers book tables and then don't bother to turn-up or call and cancel.

All languages welcome, Thursday spanish evening, clean, cosy outside smoking area, pinball machine, real Sunday roast - a lovely local, everybody welcome - just how I like it! Want thave a chat and a laugh? A passionate discussion and few drinks with it? No need to dress up, be comfortable!

Bar staff are all really competent and even rather pretty, the only downside is it always seems too warm inside.
