Popped in for a quick couple of pints late (well late by covid times) on Thursday night. Very quiet but that's understandable at moment. Good cider, friendly staff. Would visit again when in town.

Small but friendly. Walked in fancying a Sunday roast and got a huge plate full of home-style roast dinner, hearty and honest rather than gastro-pub fare, and at a great price. Definitely recommended.

Want to visit a pub where you feel 'really welcome' (as opposed to 'yes what would like' and that's it) We found that at the POW. Fabulous atmosphere. Friendly bar staff and if eating in, there is no better choice of great food ..... at very reasonable price! We always go there now when in Brighton. A great night out - especially if there is Karaoke on! If you've a big appetite, the Sunday Lunches are a must!

Lovely little family run pub right next to the busy Churchill Square shopping centre. Home cooked food available during the day afternoon, with a wide range of Shepherd Neame ales on tap. Karaoke and live groups most weekends.

I travelled to Brighton last Sunday on a day out from a short break holiday with 2 of my colleagues and 5 people with learning disabilities plus. The pub was full and no places for us all to sit the landlord and Lady and everyone else made us very welcome the weather was good so sat outside we had a mix of roast dinners Lamb Pork and Beef which we all enjoyed good food and nice fresh vegetables one lady had a chicken curry which looked fabulous and was really enjoyed plus a shepherds pie which was also enjoyed we helped clear away and put seats back inside with help from the locals when we left we were told that it was a pleasure to meet us all Thankyou that does not normally happen

It's refreshing to find a pub in Brighton that doesnt rip you off when it comes to food. The sunday roast we had was excellent and we got loads.in facrcwe couldn't eat it all.beer good too

The size of the meals and the way I've witnessed people enjoying them speaks volumes ,I myself have not tried them because I can't eat on an empty stomach, haha the ales ,friendly staff,customers,sky tv,talented musicians and great landlord will always make the Prince of Wales my favourite pub when I'm visiting Brighton from Oxford .... tonight I saw a very talented singer/guitarist/songwriter ..... wonderful....
