The Queen's head is in a prime location right by Brighton Station. However, the staff don't seem very happy, and that translates into a bit of a discouraging service. They didn't know much about the new beers/ales in stock either. The prices weren't bad though, at £9.40 for a pint and glass of wine in November 2021. The selection was fairly good, without being amazing. They had football playing on two big screens either side of the saloon, which is good if you like sport. However the rest of the pub furniture felt a bit sparse and clinical. No cosy places to sit, which is a real shame in winter when the doors have to remain open.

Not too bad. It has all the qualities of a basic pub: beer, light, heat, one-armed-bandits, TV; and the staff are friendly. But it feels a bit seedy. What makes this pub great (almost) is its location; it's right opposite Brighton station so it's an ideal to sit and wait for your date (who is, in my case, late). And it's not costing me anything as I'm just having a glass of water. All in all a very useful location and, as a wise man once said, the key to a successful retail business is location, location and location.

Sound little pub 2 minutesc from the train station, good choice of craft beers on tap and bottles/cans in the fridge. Barstaff dead friendly, happy to recommend beers an give you a taster and good vibe in the pub so defo worth a visit if your in Brighton or waiting for a train.

Always our first pub stop when we come out of Brighton Station to come to the mod weekend, love wooden floors and friendly staff, the only one thing what I didn't like was they never had my drink (Jameson Irish whiskey)

Nice beers, bit pricey but expected for Brighton especially a stone's throw from the station. Staff always friendly, were happy to keep an eye on my scooter inside as I went out for a ciggy. Always been able to get in for a beer since covid, so can rely on the place as a beer stop before the train.

Very quiet as expected when visited in Tier2 restrictions. The pub had teamed up with the chippy next door to provide a substantial meal with the drinks. Good service and pleasent enviroment

Went in early Saturday night. I really thought the Pub Culture had finished years ago....No one told this lot. Friendly Bar staff. Many a happy laughing customer. Great Guinness. Never been in before and after 2 pints it felt like a local. Wonderful Place.

Popped in for a lunchtime drink. Good selection of ales and lager. Friendly barman. Awful furniture - nearly all stools and the table legs are two square metal bands so you can't pull your stool close/under the table and whenever you move your feet you catch the strip of metal that runs along the floor and wobble the table.

Like everything on Brighton it's a bit pricey but I guess it's proximity to Brighton train station justifies that. A nice place to hang out while waiting for a 🚆 or meeting friends. They do a great pilsner lager in there called Offshore. I would definitely recommend you give it try.

Pleasant atmosphere, though £3.60 for two halves of coke seems a little pricey. Toilets are smelly, with many lights not working and the main toilet seat loose with permanent water flowing, appears to have a faulty cistern. All in all a pleasant pub though could do with sorting the facilities out.
