B. S.Lovely little local pub in the heart of Hanover. Reasonable priced drinks and cute little outside garden in the summer.
P. G.A popular local for Hanover residents. Sells a good selection of real ale. Currently has Thai food on the menu and it is excellent and suitable for vegetarians. I was there last night and a the meal was delicious, well presented and really good value. Highly recommended food.

A. L.Really friendly staff, good quality beer and really amazing Thai food. I would recommend this pub as a good old fashioned drinking pub, with a traditional feel, which just so happens to have incredible food as well. Just how a pub should be.
p. a.It's a bit of a climb, but they serve some well kept ale and if you fancy a Thai bite than this is a lovely old specimen of the sadly disappearing English pub to eat in in. Thai in a traditional pub, an odd mix that works, make mine a pint, cheers.

The landlord, Dermot is a great host and the food is to die for.
Unique pub with a unique name and has been around for centuries.

T. P.Bang on. Well done Dermot and the French girls, Sophie and Marina. Great beer, great food. A Hanover institution that is back on track since Dermot's take over a couple of years ago when the pub was languishing in the doldrums following several changes of useless landlords.

Comfortable, homely pub which is not too loud with nice ales which won't break the bank. Dermot the landlord is a great host.
