In ready for the boxing. always a great place to watch the fight and always a good view as there is screens everywhere. Also watched some of the 6 nations here and the Superbowl great drinks and atmosphere although can get full at times and not as many seats for its size. i have been lucky with getting a seat but if your in a group i would advise booking. beer and burger deal wicked value for money although i would recommend upgrading beer option from fosters as better beers available.

I didn’t visit for long but I could tell it was a well run venue and deserves a bit of Kudos. Food was great, decent range of drinks, comfortable table with good views of the screens, quick service, nice atmosphere. What more do you want. Will visit again. 👍🏼

Fantastic night out. Came in for the rugby because not many pubs in Brighton are showing it. Had a good meal while watching the game and after the game they turned into a club night! They had student deals on all night too! Overall, very impressed with the deals and events on offer here!

Management is great! Got in touch with them for a weekend staff night out. They helped us with getting our own little area and the drinks were great! The team loved the laid back atmosphere! Even the bouncer that took our accountant was quite reasonable and let us know he was outside

Good if your going on a night out good atmosphere and drinks are nice ! Orders drinks to the table and it took half a hour as I went to the bar to ask where they were all the staff were having a chat and a laugh but not making my drink when I asked he sad ‘sorry we must have missed that ‘ but asoon as he saw the order the drinks were at the table within 2 minutes I had a really good everning. but if your going there for lunch I would go somwhere else. It was 1pm and the kitchen wasn’t open and walkabout didn’t open tell 12:30 when people weee cueing outside good sports on tv. Toilets are clean

Was only in Brighton for a long weekend but ended up coming to walkabout and have to say it was far better than I expected and the cocktails were lovely! Has made me want to try the walkabout back home.

Had a wonderful experience at Walkabout Brighton, the venue was delightful, lovely decor and cheap drinks. The resident mixologist Lucas was a special treat, not only did he make our drinks exactly the way requested, but also with impressive speed. Not to mention he is quite the sight for sore eyes ;). Overall if you are looking for a place to have a drink or some delicious scran, Walkabout is the place for you. Much better than the other mediocre bars on west street.

Nice place to go for a drink, £2 pints if you've got a student card. Recently been renovated and looks quite nice with a sort of surfery vibe to it. Good deals on food, pool table and you can see a TV from almost any seat in the place. Great for sport events. Nights it turns to a pseudo club and can be hit or miss.

Went here for the first time last week with my friend before cinema have to say lovely place ideal for watching football the young barman was new to the job only been doing it a week and wasn't sure how to make a shandy but with our help he made a perfect shandy and was very helpful.

We popped in for some quick drinks and the staff serving us was brilliantly attentive and polite! All the staff were lovely, but I believe his name was David(?) who really showed us the care and attention and explained all the COVID procedures fully and kindly. He brought our drinks over quickly and was quite jokey enhancing our whole experience! Drinks were inexpensive and pleasant with a cool surfer type atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon - best walkabout branch we’ve been to and great staff!

Came here twice on a hen do weekend, it was a great atmosphere, my only concern was the amount of cups you would find being kicked around on the dance floor and incredibly sticky and wet floor , maybe hire more cleaners to mop throughout the evening than young girls in tiny shorts and vests holding trays of shots to sell throughout the night.

Went Saturday night was great for the champions league. So many tvs you couldn't miss it. Highly recommend for sports or a late night out.

The bar has a lively atmosphere and the drink prices are not bad music is done well, but sadly grossly under staffed and over crowded on busy nights can barely move to get to the bar. Booking a private table proved fruitless as we were denied our refill pint towers as none were available and our second lot of wings never turned up. To end on a good note the bar has plenty of TV monitors to watch sports on so you'll always have a view of what ever your watching.

I like the space and setting. The staff members were all friendly. In fact I had a good laugh with them. They were more than interested to offer their services. The drinks were reasonably priced. I found some foreign drinks which I thought were interesting. Well I must admit they were good. With the food, I have miss views. It appeared simplistic and not interesting. But I enjoyed every bit, I found the taste was abit different but yet interesting. I will definitely recommend this pub. Yes yes go check it out. By the way the food was on time.

Large relaxed bar with a chilled atmosphere in the day with a proper party vibe at night (weekends). The tables get booked up for sports games so definitely book in advance! Fab for groups, some tables look as though they'd seat around 20! Most have their own big screen which is awesome. Incredible value for money, great food, and overall a brilliant bar.

Perfect for watching pretty much any sport! Good value drinks. Good range of tasty food at reasonably prices. There are a number of booths or large round tables with many having their own tv screen so you can watch whichever game you want if schedules clash. What a great idea! Highly recommended!

Came here on Saturday night only intending to pre-drink but we had so much fun, we ended up staying the whole night! Great atmosphere, good selection of drinks, speedy service, & friendly security! LOVE the outside area and the general decor of the place, toilets were very clean, I couldn't fault it. Overall was very pleasantly surprised (initially thinking it was quite a laddish place to go) completely proven wrong! It's a great place for groups both big and small, we will definitely be coming back again.

Large and well styled interior, good for big groups on a night out. Lots of TV screens if you are into sport, and also has pool tables if you fancy a game. We went during an autumn storm so was dead inside, but I expect it gets quite busy under normal circumstances. Will go again.

There are better bars if you want a slightly quieter over 30 bar but overall, this place has been a staple of the Brighton bar strips forever and its particularly great if you are looking to watch sport. There are tvs everywhere.

It's a lot nicer in here now since it re-opened. I spent my youth in here most weekends and it was grimy and basic back then. There's now a lot more places to sit and the decor is modern. Separate sinks in the girls bathroom now too instead of one big trough. I like it.

I have been there 2 weeks before and i loved the music here. I went there after visiting famous clubs (got bore there because of boring music/DJ) and found this place on the way. DJ was amazing, place is huge. I love the cherry shots which was really great. Must try this

The best thing about this place is the sheer magnitude of screens it has. Sport over here sport over there sport all around you. It gets fairly crowded which is to be expected from a bar that allows 360 sports vision. As with most bars there are never enough staff to meet the customer demand

Unusually quiet for a pub on the strip for a Thursday when we visited. Decor was decent, and what you'd expect for a student oriented pub. Food was subpar. The beef burgers were manufactured patties, not sure how else to describe, and the bacon was too crispy for my liking - personal choice perhaps. The sweet potato fries are cooked in the same oil as everything else so they went this horrible brown colour. Best thing we had were the chicken tenders!! Highly recommend them!

The only thing this place is good for is the large beer garden. Inside looks ok but drinks are quite expensive. On a Friday and Saturday night you have to pay to get in but it seems to be whatever the entry person chooses whether you have a wristband or not (usually £5). They have a cloakroom but they are SEXIST and only accept womens coats (3 weekends in a row id been with friends and each time even when there were clear spaces they said it was full but there were womens coats hung up). The security and the person on the entry can be pretty rude and most of them are either on a power trip or simply dont care.

I did go there a lot with my friends and there absoutlety no problems. We all love go in there. Than 1 night which is on 18th March. I went outside at front with stamp on my hand I'm actually feel sober just to see my friends in the queue. My friends said I'm allowed to go back in with stamp so I done that. 1 bouncer won't let me in than he saying I need to sober up to get some food and come back later. I follow what he said. As I came back he got more funny with me saying I need to sober up which i already have before. So I end up in long que with other people. I manage to get in by with other securities that don't have same problem with me. As it's 3am we all have to go out as it finish. When he saw me he said I'm bard for life at first. Than me and my other friends we all want to know why I'm banned for life. He won't listen to us he just keep on saying go home and get more aggressive. Next thing he listen what we saying but he said different story compare to earlier what he said to me and now he saying I'm banned for month. I done nothing wrong I didn't even insult and didn't cause any problems. All I want is to be with my friends to enjoy our night out. He one spoils it for me by getting funny on me. I'm just an innocent person
