Have been here a lot recently, mainly to have dinner with my daughter in law, her 2 children and my son too if he's home. Excellent every time, the new chef I believe, is very good, all meals appeared hot, copious and well presented. Good value too especially kiddies' dinners. Staff excellent, very accommodating and friendly. Always lots of space too so service is spot on. Thanks. JB

Excellent pint of Guinness, friendly staff. Came for the Sunday roast, wasn't awful but I've had much better. Potatoes were nice but everything else tasted like they were out of a frozen packet. I'd return but I'd give the roasts a miss.

From the outside, an unassuming pub. Inside, moden, welcoming and spacious. Brilliant vegetarian/vegan menu, reasonably priced, very good indeed. Staff very polite. I recommend this pub to anyone.

Booked a table to watch the rugby at 4pm, with a friend. Arrived with the perfect table in front of the screen. Have been thete the week before , food vastly improved and choice of beers, more attractive with good service. Will go again next week.

Absolutely amazed by this place. They were almost full but still managed to fit us in. There was a fantastic atmosphere inside. Took about 1 minute to get served at the bar and the price was almost half what I expected it to be. We are told there would be a 30 minute wait for the food and it arrived 15 minutes or so later. Very very nice food. Will defiantly be returning and would highly recommend to anyone whatever the occasion.

Update Sept 2022 - pub still looking good. Team friendly. Went last night. Tuesday and hardly any food left especially if you were veggie, no veggie, no burger, etc. Review update.. Albion has at last had a revamp...please to say it looks great... Go try it and support the local pub...we will be. Place is looking a little run down. Staff are friendly but working against better places on the high street and Marina. Never seems that clean and loos are not great. Food is mostly good for basic pub grub..just the shabbiness let's it down. It a go for a pint place in my view, not a nice night out

We went to the Albion last Friday and it was a lovely experience. We had been before and always been welcomed and served with enthusiasm and a smile. I had sweet potato and chickpea curry. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the naan bread, ( otherwise it would have been 5 stars) but that was a minor complaint because the visit was really good.

Called in for a quick bite to eat, was served initially by Becca, who greeted me with a warm smile, a friendly acknowledgement, she then offered some sound avice on a meal selection. The meal was quite substatial, of good quality and excellent value for I managed to catch up with the rugby on the TV too! A nice afternoon, widh I could have stayed longer!

We visit the Albion for lunch every few weeks and as yet have never been disappointed. Good honest reasonably priced food. Love the new Yorkshire pudding wraps, the mixed grill was very nice, the steak cooked as I liked and a lovely piece of gammon, usually pub mixed grills have a tendency to be overcooked and a bit dry, not this one. The staff are always friendly and the service prompt. If you're looking for no frills good pub grub then you can't go wrong.
