M. R.Not your clean cut venue. This is for people who like the underground scene. Great sound system . Basic beverages candy of beer and cider basic selection of spirit and mixer . Massive outside area half undercover. Friendly staff
F. S. O.So many negative reviews that to me seem more like disgruntled local residents. This club is a legendary venue and has been for a very long time. Much longer than many of the flats built next to it.
It's definitely not for the faint hearted but if u like ur nights out grimey loud an underground there is no better club possibly on earth. I'd give it 6 stars if I could

M.Was the best venue in Bristol. However, I believe there are new owners which has ruined the club. Only one bar serving drinks with one barman. Outdoor space is poor compared to before covid. Bouncers are clueless and do not know what they are doing. Shame, hope things will get better
J. R.lol at the 1 star reviews! What you mean there wasn't toilet paper in the swan?! I can tell you moaning residents this club has probably been here longer than you, should have done your research before moving into your new build paper wall flat.
L. T.4 stars purely for the good vibes and music. Venue itself is the most disgustingly dirty place I've been too. Drinks were reasonably priced and most the staff were lovely. Gets very busy. Good sized dance floors. Toilets are a no go.
N. Y.This place definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea, but if you are into alternative or underground clubbing, this place is amazing!
With one large room, one medium, and one small room, plus the bar at the front, plus a huge garden with fire pit and occasional BBQ, this place really fits the bill :)
They also serve some seriously good Jamaican food if you like it spicy!

G. E.The Black Swan is pretty legendary. You've got the pub in front which isn't huge I guess, sports on the TV, standard beers, ciders, etc, sometimes home cooked Jamaican food on the menu which looks nice. At the back is the club which is my favoured part of the establishment. I've never had a bad time there. If you like loud bass music such as Jungle, Drum&Bass, hardcore, etc, or if you're into more chilled skankin tunes like Dancehall, Reggae & Dub, then you won't be disappointed.
The owners recently renovated the garden area and there's often a nice bonfire out there to huddle around, it can get pretty cosy. Typically the age range is more on the younger side if it's a dance music night (late teens and mid to late twenties) and generally a little more mature for more traditional Reggae n Dub, but everyone is welcome of course. I will warn you that the toilets are generally awful so I would recommend emptying your bowels before visiting and if you're female I recommend bringing a standing-pee-device in your handbag. If you prefer your clubs a little on the rough & ready side as I do, then you'll probably love the Black Swan.

t. u.A very clean venue with very kind staff. No drugs or mugs. Exelent time was by all. I only had my bottom searched four times. The toilets were clean with no ques. I would recommend anything with jiggyslaw as they are also kind and sensible.
