Reviews of Foresters Arms

Great local pub, nice atmosphere, nothing fancy but that's not what you're looking for. Waiters/waitress are nice and you always meet friendly people here. Also, you have to try their passionfruit martini draft 👌

Very friendly local pub.
Good range of lagers and keg beers plus a decent pint of Wye Valley HPA.
Darts, pool, live music on Saturday. Some sports shown on tele.
Impressive Foresters Arms artwork by local graffiti artist, Inkie.

Nowhere better to have our first post-lockdown indoor drinks than The Forresters, a proper boozer. They never fail to pour a great pint of Guinness. Great to see them open again 👍

Lovely pub great atmosphere sexy landlady what's not to like
M. P.
A traditional pub with a wide selection of draught beer, lager, cider and spirits. I had HPA which was delicious! A friendly and relaxed atmosphere, staff were accommodating and professional and a lovely resident dog to complete the overall experience, will definitely be returning

Great boozer, friendly staff, traditional style pub, none of the new age gastro rubbish. Reasonable prices and a great laugh with the locals.

Poor drink selection - only had generic gins and cheap generic beers like Fosters and carling. Poor choice of ales - basically just Butcombe which is very boring. Not asking for an entire hipster craft beer selection but a couple nicer options would have been nice as I couldn't find anything I would want to drink. Would have rated 3 stars but that would be mean cause plenty of people just want a cheap pint - and they were! If you like those kinds of beers, it's nice and cheap and will do the job. Like that it feels like an authentic boozer without any fuss, just wish they had more beer options. I don't want to go again but it's just not my kind of place. I'm sure others will enjoy it.
Efficient staff member dealing with the whole pub buy herself very well. Well done!

Wish I lived locally as it would be my choice of pub, luckily people living near probably don't know what they have. Nice pint /pint's of guinness and lovely bar staff as well. If you like a game of pool then look no further, plenty of in house competition for starters.

Irish theme pub, seen reviews on here like from out of space and other derogatory comments, we all have full time employment are all good friends with a sense of community, you don't need the latest designer gear, the beer, Guinness is good the locals friendly and actually talk to you. Like all pubs when local footballs on gets busy.

It's a good Celtic bar and for that I love it, but I wouldn't go there with my girl or want to host a writing group.
