Reviews of Hey Dude Bar

Very quirky interior ambience! Came to a live Wednesday comedy show, which came out to be a brilliant way to chill and unwind! Thank you for providing such a great evening!

Went to a pub prior to here and left as we felt completely unwelcome, came here and felt super welcome, the staff here are super friendly and welcoming and the bouncer seems lovely to, really like the vibe here, much more down to earth than many other pubs in Bristol, we were served by 2 young girls and they were both really sweet and friendly and very helpful.
Feels like a proper old fashion quirky pub vibe and we really enjoyed our visit, beer was great too.
Will definitely be returning 😊

Dropped in by chance, lovely staff and fantastic pierogi in a lively atmosphere. Will be back! Have returned and it was just as good.

Bloody lovely food. Friendly staff. Bristol beer on tap and Tyskie in the fridge. Dog friendly too! Definitely try the beef. Vegan was cracking too

Fantastic really tasty food at a very reasonable price ...beers good...staff friendly

Don’t expect traditional pierogi here and you’ll be satisfied. With all their toppings it tasted like a Mexican dish. A good Mexican dish! But not what I was expecting. Love the ambience in here, comfy, red candles, good house wine, and the music playing was awesome.

Fantastic staff, attentive and caring. Have me a plaster as I had an ouchy heal. The beer was so nice and I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Can't wait to go back and try food some time.

This is a nice place located on King's Street. It has a typical English pub vibe and is warm and inviting. Their menu is made up of a variety of different pierogis. These are not traditional pierogis from Poland but are still delicious.
The value for the food is very high. There are three options for plates: 4, 6 and 12 pierogi. A large plate (12 pierogi) runs about £12.
I ended up getting a large and small plate and split it amongst two people. The food comes out with a lot of toppings (sour cream, pickles, etc) on the plate. It looks very visually appealing but it was hard to determine which pierogis were which without first biting into them.
The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they run out of food too quickly. I went on a Tuesday night and they had run out of the menu and stopped serving food. The next day, I went at 1700 on a Wednesday and they were out of half the menu. This was surprising since their menu indicates that they start serving food at 1500. They have good food but I'd definitely recommend going at a not peak time.

Concise menu but really good bar grub. Will book next time for the dishes that need to be ordered in advance.
A new member of staff let them down a little - our food ended up stuck at the bar for ages going cold as he didn't give us a number, and the fries were first forgotten and then the wrong type
But will be back :)

Nice quiet bar in the centre of Bristol. Its tucked away and its never as rammed as the other places in the same location. Offers a good selection of beer and win. Offers food too, but I've never had it.

Super friendly and engaging staff. Just enjoyed some interesting craft beers here sat in the sunshine. Has an intriguing Polish menu however.

AMAZING pierogi with an unusual twist. If you like pierogi and you also like British cuisine, you'll love it. You can get Polish bottled beer there as well, and the place is pretty cozy.

Came in for a few drinks whilst on a night out. Very friendly staff, had a good chat about the all the different rums they have and they were happy to suggest some that we hadn't tried before.

This place is a gem. Nestled away in King Street it's easy to pass by. The food here is great, the service friendly and the atmosphere very relaxed.

Disappointing... we ordered in advance the ribs and pork shank to be shared between 3 of us, 1 had the peirogi pie... the pork shank was amazing... the ribs however was not worth the 19.50 charged, it was a small amount of meat on the bone, if i hsd been sharing with 1 other person as its supposed to be i would have been sorely disappointed

Not the most regular looking place but really friendly service and the dumplings are amazing. Really good comfort food.

Great experience, we went there without knowing what food they serve, and all their “pierogi” were really nice, the pork one being the nicest.
