Perfect pint stop on the walk home from shopping in town. Changed greatly since my last visit many moons ago but all for the better and looks great. Good beer and cider selection. Sat out front in the sunshine which is a lovely bonus now the street is closed off to traffic.

Loved it! We were able to book a table for 7. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Finding time to prepare some Pizza's for us even though they were busy. We will definitely be back.

I've just been reminded by Google of a review I did about 3 years ago. I'm now giving it an extra star. The food is fine, but I now mainly come here for after work drinks. Good beers, great atmosphere and really efficient bar people (so you don't queue for ages). The tables outside are good in almost all weathers.

Its a great little pub. Nice views; St Mary redcliffe church across the way. Cobbled streets. All them cozy vibes. Needs more ale but their pizzas are alright and the bar staff are legendary. If you're on your way to the train station via the centre, its an opportune moment for a cheeky travel pint! Or just get involved for any old reason innit.

Love this place! Great drink selection. The Merlot is lovely. They've started doing pizzas recently, which are genuinely the best pub pizzas we've ever had. I recommend the veggie one. Really great staff who make the place a must visit every time we're in Bristol.

Nice little pub in Bristol. Friendly staff, great place. In my opinion the bar itself doesn't fit, it looks too modern for an old historic place which is otherwise nicely fitted out, but that's just my opinion, and not a reason to not go to a nice pub!

I like this pub and when we come to Bristol we usually end up here for late drinks before going back to the hotel. On Friday evening we got there around 10.15 and the place was thinning out. My wife wanted a coffee but the machine had been cleaned and shut down , the barman very kindly started up the machine and made my wife a coffee (we had been to a place earlier in the evening and they couldn't be bothered to serve her a coffee)- we are certainly not regulars but the service and customer focus was excellent and they keep a good pint - will definitely go again and top marks to the Barman. Recently refurbished and now seems a good place for basic, reasonably-priced food. Had lunch here with office colleagues and it was ideal for quite fast service so we were back at our desks within the hour. Very informal and still has enough of the traditional pub atmosphere while being clean and contemporary.

Nice inexpensive pub in the heart of the centre, convenient parking. Just opposite of the Radcliffe church and the parking is right in front of the pub. Friendly staff, good food options and ales. The sunday roast is all juicy and the burgers are fabulous. The food is a bit pricey but not too bad. Free WiFi and Definitely worth visiting.

Far too modern and slouless since it's refit. The ale was good, but no Thatchers Gold in Bristol? Evidently a Heineken chain. Edit - greenhouse doesn't mean that you've not accepted a tie to a big chain at the cost of your range.

Central bar near the historic harbour. Also handy for a lunchtime beer if you work nearby. Recently modernised, which may or may not be to your taste, but it does have a certain style and a great view of St Mary Redcliff. Small but decent selection of ales and I understand the food is pretty good too.
