Delicious food and really cosy and clean place. Just perfect for Saturday brunch. They start serving food at 12 so enjoy your long morning before you go there :-)

Okay, so the food was good apart from a limited choice of vegetarian options. Reasonable wait for food plus pleasant staff. Obligingly bought out a water bowl for our dog, thank you. However, the place is in disrepair. Rotten skirting boards, black mould and grotty dust (?) toilets. The toilet itself was ok. Very sticky floors. Scruffy throughout. Broken window at back of building. Garden littered with cigarette butts, smell of urine behind covered outdoor area. Very sorry but will not be visiting again.

Lovely friendly staff especially the general manager Amy. Good food. Lots of choices of beer and Cider. I would recommend to anyone that lives or just visiting nailsea to pop in and experience it for themselves

This is a lovely little pub in the middle of Nailsea High St traditional cozy feel has a good selection of drinks very enjoyable "pub grub" each time I've been there been greeted by a super friendly team special thanks to Amy Taylor and hannah for the warm welcome the garden and building itself is beautiful will be coming bk as this is a lovely welcoming place to go to not to mention the fabulous dj they have of a Friday night parking is also available would highly recommend this little gem of a place everyone is made to feel welcome so bring your children bring your dog you will be greeted with a smile and great service!

Recently visited in the sunshine and the cider was perfection! The manager Amy was chatting to most people in there has really bought a great energy to the pub… although I haven’t visited in a fair few years it’s easy to see this pub is so looked after. We didn’t eat but the food looked good and lots of choice on the menu.

Well, the Royal Oak; 5 stars aren’t nearly enough, the food was absolutely divine and the staff lovely who are not only friendly but helpful i recommend that people visit the pub if you want a good time you’d be a fool not to!

I would like to say what outstanding service I always receive when visiting The Royal Oak the staff are all so lovely and Gemma Mammo the chef in particular is fantastic! The food Gemma sends out is always exquisite and whenever I see her front of house she is always smiling and very warm and welcoming! Went in last week lunch time. I had rump steak, new potatoes, mushrooms and a salad all beautifully cooked and presented by the managers wife, Gemma. Staff very friendly including Chris hygiene inspector and one way system controller. Can,t beat good local pub. My meal deal £6.50.

The Royal Oak in Nailsea, North Somerset, is a friendly pub serving good value food. There is private parking outside the front door, and an attractive beer garden at the rear. The business is now owned by Green King and has lots of promotions and offers on the menu, especially when two people dine. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are at least three large TV screens showing sport, and a choice of ales can be enjoyed. It's a popular local serving tasty pub fare.

Good traditional local boozer with decent affordable pub grub and excellent staff. Shows all Sky etc sport on several screens. They even have one outside in the huge beer garden. The venue for Adge Cutler and the Wurzels live album recorded decades ago. You don't get local colour like that on every street corner. Worth a visit.

Nice old pub on Nailsea's main street. Sells Greene King ales so needs me to waiting for a takeaway from nearby to get my custom, but my pint of Abbot was very pleasant and there was a warm friendly ambience which suggests it's a good local for them what lives nearby.

I'm a fan of Adge Cutler and the Wurzels so the Royal Oak was on my wurzel bucket list. There's a beautiful statue in memory of Adge at the carpark entrance. The pub as expected had a brilliant range of ciders which made me one happy bunny. The food was great and well price. The inside is spacious and lovely decorated, and there is a lovely beer garden to chill out in too. I am hoping to pop in for another visit soon 😊

WHAT A NIGHT! Watched the ENGLAND V FRANCE game Saturday evening, atmosphere was fantastic even tho we lost 😞 the fun carried on with singer who was pretty good, the function room was also being used with groups of lads and ladies playing pool.. most definitely my new local pub ☺️
