Think they might have been understaffed and had a large group of guests. But the staff managed it amazingly and we had the best time here. Amazing and friendly service from everyone behind the bar and at the door. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the bar with a front seat to all the action. And the music was just hit after hit. Great cocktails and they are also good a making the classics. Went here twice in one evening and would come back again.

Local crafted drink selection is great. Craft drinks are pre-batched so no need to alter. But the bar staff is well equipped to sort out your request. Our drinks were great!

I love this place. It feels naughty but is perfectly safe. It feels a bit 'Cabaret' and people often dress up to come here. However, it's not pretentious and the staff are lovely. The cocktails are great and the atmosphere is relaxing.

We really liked the decor and the feel of being in a basement with the curved ceiling. The staff were very at tentative but the let down were the cocktails. They were extremely strong and just not pleasant to drink. They would benefit from a couple of long mixer cocktails on the menu.

Private off the beaten track cosy cocktail bar. You have to press a not obvious button to ring the door bell to this place so keep a sharp eye out. This all adds to the ambience of Red Light and the exclusivity. We were a group of 6 made up of 1 girl and 5 guys. If you're heading down on a Friday or Saturday night consider your group make up since the bar likes to have an even number of genders. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Expect to pay £12 for a cocktail. The menu is classic and innovative so expect a decent drink either way.

In my opinion, one of the best (if not the best) places for cocktails in town. Expensive, fancy cocktails carefully prepared by expert bartenders. Worth the money. Perfect for a romantic night, the place is stunning, and the table service is delightful. Once again, charming staff.

Absolutely awesome underground prohibition style cocktail bar. Great selection of drinks, and if there's nut anything you fancy, they'll be happy to do something bespoke for you. Table service to make you feel special, very friendly staff who are passionate about what they do. Every time I take someone new there, they always rave about it. Cocktail menu changes relatively regularly.

Nice speakeasy style bar with an extensive cocktail menu, there can be a wait before the tables become available. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the cocktails they sell and the classics can be ordered off menu as well. Beer and wine also available.

fabulous little find - if you can find it, they've certainly upped the game on the speakeasy entrance stakes and I absolutely loved it! Once you have cracked the code and got inside, the staff are lovely, warm and friendly, the cocktails are gorgeous and there's a surprising amount of space for an underground drinking den. This will definitely be a new favourite for a cheeky night cap away from the Bristol crowds.

What a great hidden treasure in Bristol's city centre. We were welcomed at the 'hidden' door... down the steps to the warmth of the speakeasy,, entertained by the magic of the professional cocktail teams welcoming and relaxed. Certainly worth a detour!

This is one of the many "secret" cocktail bars in Bristol. With it literally being themed as a speak easy and in an old wine cellar, the atmosphere is perfect. The drinks are on the more expensive side but you pay that extra for the experience.

Red Light may have a quirky entrance, but a speakeasy bar this ain't. This place feels geared up to serve large groups (think stags and hens), packed full with big group tables and very limited space for couples / smaller groups who might want to have a quieter drink. Drinks were good, staff friendly, but ambiance just didn't resonate.

Red light is a speakeasy style bar hidden on Unity St. If you manage to find it, it will be worth the effort! Serving up an amazing selection of cocktails from classics like the Old Fashioned to drinks that are maybe a little bit more obscure to the uninitiated (myself included) Either way the staff really know their stuff and can quickly and easily pick something that you will no doubt love. It is abit on the dearer side so it may only be good for one or two drinks but those drinks will be well worth it.
