Absolutely fantastic little place. Wonderful friendly polite happy staff, great beer and the food was amazing!!! Highly recommend this little gem 😊

PROS: Beef roasts were delicious, even brought out an extra jug of gravy without asking. Beautiful decor and had no problem getting in on a Sunday. CONS: Waitresses seemed very young which isn't a problem except they were quite inexperienced and not very warm and welcoming, manager was lovely though. Waitress managed to skip one of our roasts off the order (the order was 3 x beef roasts...not that complicated) which we were only told after waiting 15 minutes for my friend's roast to arrive, after being told 'the food will be coming soon'. When the waitress finally brought it over she just awkwardly said 'hope the roast makes up for it'. Luckily the manager took it off the bill! My friend managed to get something in her contact lens and was in a lot of pain and when asking where the toilets were the waitresses were very unhelpful, simply waving and saying very disgustedly 'upstairs?'. Finally, music was the weirdest mix of songs. Never did I think I'd eat a roast accompanied by One Direction but here we are. All in all, food was delicious but the service let it down.

Spur of the moment lunch. Lovely bar staff very welcoming. Had the best poached deep fried egg on Sourdough. Haven`t enjoyed a meal out as much as this in months. Thank you

Great experience! Had two people in our party with food intolerance and they were catered for really well. The chef spoke to them personally about options. The atmosphere was friendly and covid protocols were in place. Food was lovely and well presented. Would go again and recommend to others.

Like the Tardis, there's a lot more inside than there looks from without. Well found and fitted out gastro-come-winebar-come-ginbar-come-pub. Eclectic and unusual accoutrements within and multilevelled. Trendy crowd venue. On the Casque-mark Ale Trail and deservedly so, the beer is in excellent condition.

Visited Somerset House on a Friday night for a very enjoyable evening staff are friendly and the nice bunch of customers in there definitely recommend you pop in there for a pint

Trendy, friendly tavern in Prices Victoria street, Clifton, Bristol. Usually pretty crowded, especially from Thursday evening onwards, with noisy good natured people. There is an open dining area at the rear of the bar area, and a restaurant on the first floor serving, steaks, fish and so on. Many move on to dine in one of the many restaurants within easy walking distance. Smart casual wear is the norm. An ideal starting point for your evening out. Open throughout the day

Slightly pricey but excellent selection of gins, the gin menu is extensive. Good for ales and wine also. Cosy fireplace and trendy lighting make it a nice place to spend time in. The toilets are upstairs and mind your head on the way up on the low ceiling, trust me, I know from experience!

Cosy and smart pub in Clifton village. It is pricey, but everything is very good quality. The food is really good, pizzas and burgers served in the restaurant area at the back. Very friendly and good service. They also do gin tasting nights upstairs, check their website for dates.

Popped in hoping to eat here without a booking and was lucky enough to be able to. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed a well stocked bar for my taste .tried a few different gins before during and a nice port after dinner .could not fault the food and staff great food good at entice survive that felt quite natural which put us at ease enough to ask there adevice on different drinks and they didn't fail .would recomend d this eatery and would have loved to have been able to visit the Gin bar but it was closed I think for renovation .

The food here is simply wow. Their sunday menue is fab. Located in the clifton, it is a treat esp once you have walked the length of clifton suspension bridge and the camera obscura. The staff are really helpfull. Their pizza with goat cheese is a must try.
