Called in with two relatives for a refreshment stop. Plenty of tables to choose from. Breakfast leaflet on the table so all had muffins. Ordered at the bar and arrived quickly. Presentation wasn't the best but they all tasted good. Massive cups for tea, only criticism was that the only tea machine was located at the front of the establishment and we had chosen a seat near the back. Relatives were 2 80+ years old so they didn't want the hassle of me going to get another. Another station would have been good at the other end. Did have disabled toilet on ground floor though as I had used the ones up 2 flights of stairs so warned them not to hold on till last minute! Chirpy staff, would visit again if in area.

A lovely wetherspoon pub with friendly staff and plenty of tasty food at great prices. In the process of updating, toilets are updated and looking good.

Largest range of beers and spirits in this area. Real European lager. Thankfully no Bristol-brewed or cloudy English lager. Proper pub. Food until very late. Cannot ever fault it. Toilets are up two flights of stairs which is great to keep fit whilst in the pub. The only criticism I have is that they are incredibly stingy with chips in food servings. Why? It's not necessary and would cost next to nothing to round up to a decent portion, and this would avoid every person in the family saying 'excuse me but this fish must be still alive, it's eaten half my chips'.

You expect a certain standard when you go to a Wetherspoons, and this exceeded those standards in every way. I waited no longer than 2 minutes from ordering the app to having a pint in front of me. The food is as expected for a wetherspoons in terms of quality and was less than 5 minutes delivery time. The atmosphere is decent, for a spoons I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

A Wetherspoons that offers, I suppose, more of what we've come to expect from the organisation. Nothing stood out as exceptional and I doubt that I'd choose to have a pint in here when such excellent alternatives exist on the local market. With that said I wasn't offended by anything here, either, enjoyed cheap drinks and food served by friendly staff. A decent enough venue to hide on a rainy day.

11/2021 - A southern city Wetherspoon, well established and well used. These sort of venues are always going to look tired and in need of some TLC even though they may have had a recent cosmetic paint job This one is no different, but on this visit, a pint of Abbott Ale, in prime condition cost 99p. Not surprising it was busy at 15.30 in the afternoon.

I've been popping in to the "Fitz" for around a year now and I must say that Lou gives the best service. Always friendly and cheerful and she always remembers what you drink and often is able to serve multiple patrons without breaking a sweat. She is great. I love this place as it's become a solo stop off on the way home.

5/5 based on the price, you can get a drink and a meal for around 6-7 pounds which is almost unheard of now. They have things like Monday club where certain drinks are £2 and other days they've always got a deal on or a cheap alcoholic or non alcoholic drink Perfect for someone on a budget, never had a problem with any of the food or drinks

Your bog standard wetherspoons experience. It is decked out just like you would expect it to be and with the low drinks prices and nothing special quick to high-power microwave food. There are no real stand out features of this pub although you will find regulars (usually older gents) with their papers and pints from fairly early after opening.
