Back again .I do love the energy of this place .staff and locals are welcoming. So you don't feel out of place . We got the meal deal 3 for £11.somthing food came out really quickly and was hot 🔥 enjoyed it . Me and My daughters couldn't eat all of it but did enjoy it .We had curry and sauce. Ps less chips more curry sauce 😋. Though it was very nice .Next time we are going to a bit mix match Cheap reasonable priced .it is a go-to pub and always enjoy our time here.

Probably the best wetherspoons pub in bristol . You get a few characters in the afternoon as well . Generally food is good could do with a more varied menu . Bus timetable is ok to get back home . Prices what determine people to go to wetherspoons .

We are regular guests but hygiene is always an issue. The staff is nice but there is a lot of dirt on and under the tables. Food and drink are excellent but purity is a constant problem. These photoes made after the cleaning.

Easy access on Staple Hill High Street parking is available on the high street but it has time restrictions there is a large parking areas just off the high street round the back of the Oak. The Staple Hill Oak has wide enough entrance for wheelchairs very nice friendly airy atmosphere professional knowledgeable bar staff. As this is is a Wetherspoons you'll find value for money in food and in your drink

I have been here with friends on a drinking session in the evening, and popped in for a quick vegetarian breakfast in the morning. Each occasion the place is clean, friendly and great value. My only question is how do they make their veggie sausages taste so good? It's worth a visit to sample one and try and figure it out for yourself. Awesome place, many thanks.

It's a Wetherspoon do you can be guaranteed cheap booze! Cash only on the night I visited but as it's cheap it was no problem. Shame it seems door staff are required (always the sign of a classy establishment). I'm perhaps being a little unkind as the clientele and staff were friendly and polite.

Everybody loves a spoons! This place is always fairly busy but we always find a table, great for big groups and cheap food and drinks easily ordered on the wetherspoons app - have been plenty of times and its consistently quick, cheap, lively and great all round.

It's good. Typical wetherspoons menu and prices, which is nothing to complain about. Food can be hit-and-miss, but 7/10 times it's good (though £7 for a burger and a drink, you can't exactly complain). Place needs a bit of tlc, like other reviewers mentioned. The furniture is a little dated and the carpets have seen better days. However the art work and showcase of local facts and images is something I enjoy, and the staff and locals are always friendly.

A bland Wetherspoon pub, most notable for its ugly paved "beer garden", at the rear, for smokers, and its raised former family dining area - does anyone remember those days? The formerly officious manager has chilled out, which is a definite bonus. If you enjoy drunken brawls, then this is the place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. On Sunday nights, you might experience the unofficial guitar jam session, tucked away at a table to one side, near the bogs.

Not overly impressed tonight .i went for the triple chicken feast it came with no coleslaw and the children breast was dry and only warm all in all 5 out of 10 just because its cjurry night dont let ths rest of the menu suffer......ok im back 27.4.17 . curry night this time i ordered a gourmet burger big improvement from last visit prompt service and hot food the standard has improved greatly ...try the black dragon cider if your not driving .all in all well done spoons 😁

As a busy wetherspoons goes it's very good and one of the best in the area. It's freindly civilized and one of there brighter pubs ,other they own in the area are very dark an depressing but this one is light and pleasent to be in .
