Reviews of The Three Brooks
T. R.
Food was very good and quick arriving, except our onion rings were missing! Helpful staff. The only down side was there wasn't a table ready for the 2 of us even though we had booked & we were placed next to 2 tables of friends who were only enjoying themselves but incredibly noisy & we found it hard to have a conversation. The area we were sat in had a low ceiling which worsened the noise level.

I’ve been here twice since it’s been refurbished. Once for lunch and last night for drinks with friends. The pub looks fantastic with a great selection of food and drinks to choose from. Staff were friendly and the live music last night was great. The Three Brooks Pub is definitely my new go to local pub!
A. G.
They are really pushing the boat out tonight. The smoking area has become a manger. Hope it goes well. Good beer as well. Staff friendly and helpful.
Today (29th August) it is a beach bar.
Update: It has been refurbished, wish they had sorted all the patio
Much smarter inside but could do with more comfortable seats. Shame there is no heated smoking area, could be an issue in the winter.
A. J.
First visit following the refurbishment, which was a nice improvement to the place. Even with the extra seating the food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Only real grumble was my first choice of main was unavailable due to them having run out of rice. Staff were friendly and polite food was nice.
l. t.
Recently refurbished to a very high standard. Pete and his team work extremely hard to ensure a positive experience. Garden area has been extended so lots of seating available to enjoy a drink in the sun.
T. N.
We’ve been regulars here for a number of years and can’t speak highly enough of Pete or all of the staff. Do yourself a favour and pop in for great food, great beer and a warm welcome. Keep up the good work people. T & Ruby

Not bad but far from great! My partner and I visited for Sunday lunch, as expected the place was very busy. Most staff however were very helpful and efficient others were not so good and barely managed a grunt in our direction. The food was priced well and we had 3 courses for £11.99. To start we had breaded mushrooms which were lovely, and we were served pretty fast, the roast however was not so good. Rock solid roast potatoes, vegetables were pretty bland, some overcooked and some quite hard! The beef was ok but the rest was not great. However it was hot when it arrived to our table which is more than can be said for other places. For dessert we had salted caramel profiteroles and ice cream which was delicious. Unfortunately there was a large crowd and you could barely have a conversation without shouting at each other. All in all ok but nothing to write home about.

Having previously put this as a 3, the three brooks really have upped their game. The food has improved and the staff were nothing but friendly and upbeat. Really happy to call this our ‘local’!
B. C.
This pub has improved massively in the years since I last visited. The landlord was a great asset, friendly and kind. Food was much better than I would expect from a chain pub, especially the roast.
K. e.
Great to see the place nicely refurbished and helping to create better atmosphere, outdoors area is bigger with more seating .
Nice touches been made.
R. M.
The Ultimate Burger and BBQ wings did not disappoint! Very high standard "Pub food"
NEED TO BOOK
Lost 2 star as we sat down and the waiter slapped a reserved label for 1 hours time without saying anything on our table (not enough time for us to order food). We moved and he tried to do the same on the second table. After we sharply explained we moved as he just did this to us 5 minutes ago, he moved the reservation to another table. Pubs should not be doing this when your already seated for punters that are not even there.
Maybe there is a time limit at the tables im not aware of??
P. H.
Very good,
Meal was hot, well cooked and nicely presented.
Plate was nice and hot as well.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Brought a bowl of water over for the dog without us asking for it,
A very pleasant dining experience.
G. S.
Top class team providing a a great breakfast experience
I know it sounds flash but how would you post Great Food, Great Staff Great Boss. Good skills
D. H.
OK but would refuse to leave table for reservation. If no notification on table when we arrived would refuse to leave just because reservation arrived after we were seated and got drinks.
V. A.
Awesome staff, great selection of drafts! Live music on the weekends! Absolute awesomeness all around!
J. W.
Eaten there many times and always enjoyed it
We went there on Sunday early evening and the quality of the meal was below the norm. Thin dry and very salty gammon steak, chips not good - the fat in the fryer needs changing.
Very fatty bacon on the beef burger. Hoping this was just an off day.
A. M.
The staff were very helpful and able to fit a large group of us in on very short notice. 9 of us had food and every single one of us really enjoyed our meal. The food was organised so that it all came out at the same time and we didn't have to wait long after we'd ordered, despite it being fairly busy inside. To top it all off, the music they had on was one great song after another. We'll definitely be coming back if we're ever nearby again.
L. H.
Good food, good prices, clean all around, with lovely staff members
A. W.
Nice local plenty of selection of beers and good menu with special offers. Polite and professional staff.
O. B.
It's great local pub for Sunday Roast and daily meals. Good choice of stuff and selection of drinks in a good price. Nice decor and climate inside. Good food. This place much improved for the last year and half since my first visit there. It sometimes quite busy especially at the weekends, so bookings can be recommended
k. n.
The Housemade Nachos are just out of the world....never had such amazing nachos anywhere till date...highly recommended
J. M.
Nice and cosy, log fires, friendly staff, good food, reasonable price. Small carpark
A. B.
Had a few drinks here with a friend today. Staff were polite and they made sure we got a table even if we haven't booked one in advance. Service was quick and efficient. Good location in Bradley Stoke. Car parking on site free of charge.
J. C.
Wonderful Sunday lunch as always. Pete and his staff do a wonderful job xx
P. T.
Really nice pint of ale. Much much better than the Marston's pubs in Bradley Stoke.
a. 1.
Fantastic food and great value for money.
A. K.
Always a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Three Brooks. Keep up the great work guys
G. K.
1st time I've been here, always avoided for some reason, how wrong i was me&missus had lunchtime set menu, both had tortillas to start, ham, eggs&chips for main and apple caramel sponge with custard, absolutely delicious not a bad word to say, will definitely be going back 😋
M. M.
Lovely meals, good choice of vegetarian food, the staff are very friendly, good customer service, I would recommend this place,
J. L.
Restaurant kindly accepted us even though we didn't have a booking. Kind people and good atmosphere but we were very disappointed to not have been informed the kitchen were closing early (at 9PM). We asked to order diner at 9.05PM and they simply told us the kitchen were closed. This was unpleasant and disappointing.
D. B.
This is getting 5 stars for:
- it's proximity to Tescos; excellent.
- having a car park for a few cars; catered for.
- places to sit, inside and out; top notch.
- being the only pub for about a mile in every direction; nailed it.
- not being a Wetherspoon's; well done you.
To be fair, it's better than the nearby Harvester.
S. M.
A very nice modern pub, good food and drink, but a little pricey.
The Brooks is just off the M4 junction 19, off Motorway turn left for Bristol, 1st roundabout turn right and go straight, the Brooks is off the 3rd roundabout next to a big Tesco with fuel pumps. The Brooks would be a great alternative to motorway services FDF - Food, Drink, Fuel.
The Brooks has a fair amount of outside seating and often has live sports on TV; do not be put off by this, it is not too loud - this is not a 'Spit and Sawdust pub'! The Brooks is more 'family pub', than 'Boozer'. Si
A. B.
Always a great meal here; definitely the best in Bradders.
e. l.
Very helpful staff, lovely warm atmosphere, made puppy welcome too. Food was excellent and good size portion and value for money.
B. B.
Nice pub, cozy atmosphere and good quality beers. Staff were also super friendly and chatty.
L. Z.
Busy pub, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Food is also decent and you can usually get a table no issue
S. l. L.
Lovely atmosphere and cake and coffee in the afternoon perfect
A. B.
Really nice homely place that's great to just go to and relax before the football. Has decent seating and food, bathrooms are perfect for hitting up a nice bag of gear before you go get blasted with your mates.
Allows dogs, ten outta ten.
P. S.
Nice place for a decent drink and a lunch. Staffs are polite and welcoming. Definitely would recommend their steak and salad.
M. J.
Popped in for some lunch on Saturday and was very impressed. It was quite early so it was fairly quiet, and our food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Our meals looked and tasted lovely. The restaurant itself was spotless and very cozy inside(it was very stormy outside!) Will deffo visit again.
G. E.
Staff were lovely and helpful but really don't think the food was worth the money. The kids pasta looked like a tin of tomatoes had just been added. The one my youngest had looked a lot more tasty and he absolutely loved it. I had the trio roast and for 9.99 it really was not a lot. May as well have put it on a smaller plate as it looked a bit sorry for itself. It did taste good, the roast potatoes were good, but like I said, in my opinion it was not worth £10. My husband had half a chicken. He was disappointed with his.
M. A.
Food was really good, but service was disappointing. I have specific dietary requirements so wasn't able to order through the app (as there is no space to add notes or extra requirements) I needed to approach the bar and give them my card to be able to order not on the app. The server then took my order at the table and I asked for gin and slimline tonic. She then brought over a gin and FEVER TREE tonic which I didn't want. I asked her if they did BRITVIC and she said they did. Unfortunately, she didn't give me the option when she took my order and she'd already poured the FEVER TREE into the gin. She then told me that next time I needed to tell her what I wanted as she had wasted a drink. I didn't realise they sold multiple tonics, so feel that it was her responsibility to ask which tonic I'd prefer and also she could not have poured the tonic into the gin and would then have only had to dispose of a tonic, and not a gin as well. There were only three staff on duty and the pub was full (they were turning people) but we waited for over half an hour to pay the bill. Eventually, I had to approach the bar and ask for someone to bring over the bill. I was snapped at for approaching the bar and explained that we had already been waiting over half an hour to pay so they could have the table back. A different server came over with the card machine and quoted a price, we then told him we had a voucher code and then he snapped at us to say that we should have paid on the app! We explained that we had dietary requirements so couldn't order on the app. He then went away and came back with the discounted price. We paid and left.
I appreciate that this is a very difficult time for many businesses, but I eat out frequently and the staff here were too few and stretched too far. My dietary requirements are always dealt with professionally and I never have any issues but it felt like it was just a bit too much for the Three Brookes last night. I don't think I will visit again which is a shame as the food was lovely - particularly the chicken wings.
A. B.
Quick turn round for work lunches with good selection of classic pub food, served by polite and friendly staff.
P. C.
Not a bad pub as such. Quite a good variety of beers, lagers and ciders. Quite expensive for drinks. The food is passable but reasonably priced. Sometimes can take ages to get served. Men toilets are often flooded. Wish they would wipe the bar and tables more often and clear away the dirty glasses.
There are some good people that use this pub, and I have made quite a few good friends.
Would recommend trying the pub.
J. H.
Food was reasonable, lovely fires! 8 people in our group but we ordered separately. Many of us had chicken with different options. Somehow some of the orders got mixed up but the server blamed us, which wasn't fair or good customer service!
M. B. J.
Wonderful food - now being refurbished.
T.
A modern estate pub much bigger inside than it looks. Roaring fire, decent menu all day, kids welcome. Good ale, very comfortable. Just remember to register your car to avoid a ticket
N. D.
I went here because it's local and has vegan options in the menu. I had the vegan "shepherd's" pie which was quite tasty although I didn't find it particularly filling. The other option was a salad (standard) although they did offer a vegan dessert which was a nice surprise to find on the menu.
The service was good and the decor and atmosphere is nice and relaxed one end of the pub and then more lively the other end for sports fans (game on the tv).
The prices seemed really reasonable for what I had as well- good deals on cocktails and I paid less than £2 for elderflower and tonic water which seemed a good price for a pub.
G. M.
Good place for real ales. Food is standard far for a pub chain. Service varies depending on how busy it is usually it's ok we have a had a couple of bad experiences but not enough to put us off. Best time is during the week when it's quieter Mondays probably best . If you are a beer drinker they usually have plenty of guest beers on.
P. C.
Pub is more of a pub than most other chains which are more like restaurants with a pub feel. The food was nice but the portion of scamp was very small. I love having scampi and usually go to other chains and get 12 - 14 pieces with a good portion of chips. I got 8 with about the same number of chips. Gutted about quantity but the quality was as good as could be expected.
S. L.
Great English pub grub.
M. M.
Great atmosphere, lovely food but not very busy on the day
J. W.
Wednesday lunchtime visit, not crowded or too busy, just had a "jacket potato", Prawns in Marie Rose sauce. I would have to say that this was probably the best presented jacket potato I have ever had, and tasty to boot so a good experience for a simple meal. Thank you.
D. G.
Great food and a nice all round pub.
C. R.
Good pub with half set aside for pub food. The other half has a number of screens that show sport. Great atmosphere if you like to watch football. Friendly crowd. The food looks great but I didn't actually have any.
R. M.
This pub has definitely improved over recent years and is no longer the dive it used to be. Spoilt a little by the big screen tvs which attract the sporty crowd but a pub should be for all. Not perhaps a location I would choose for a quiet meal, but possibly for a quick lunch where I didnt expect too much in the way of atmosphere. A bit pricey on drinks. Friendly staff.
P. C.
Brilliant atmosphere, was lovely seeing all the children with the farm animals etc on the Carol service night. Great community spirit and thanks to Pete and his team for making the night possible.
Looking forward to next year.
F. T.
Good food, cannot fault the service. Bonus beach party happening on the Sunday of an August Bank Holiday
D. P.
Second time visiting three Brooks on a busy Sunday afternoon whilst Rugbys been on. You still however get great service and fantastic food! Nice atmosphere warm and all staff so friendly. Deffo use this pub more now we know it's worth every penny you spend inside. :-D puts ember inns in the map!!
B.
Very tasty.I will come back.
S. L.
Lovely place with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is tasty but nothing extra ordinary - standard pub grub but tastes great and good value.
T. F.
Just been refurbished a amazing difference great food and good staff plus a great selection of ales
B. c.
perfect place for a few drinks🍷🍹🍺🍻🥂 with friends or family, the garden beer is amazing and the staff are very helpful 🤩
R. P.
Addendum to review below - the pub searched, found and printed my wife's receipt and the ticket was cancelled. Thanks for the prompt action.
Wife used my car to take some friends for food and drink. I end up with an £85 parking charge. This is extortion and should be illegal. Everyone I know will be advised to NEVER use the three Brooks ever again. The one star above should be negative 5 but that was not an option. My wife says that there was no information about parking when her friends paid for the food and drink or anywhere else.
D. S.
One of the more popular local pubs. We've enjoyed food here several times. Quiz night on Tuesday which I think starts reasonably late (9pm?). Outside tables for when the weather suits.
D. M.
Myself and two friends had a fantastic meal on Saturday evening.
The food was excellent and Pete the manager and his bar staff were very friendly and service was excellent especially as the Pub was very busy.
I would recommend the menu and the prices were very reasonable Will be back there again soon
Diane
P. B.
Lovely dog friendly pub with nice staff. Never eaten there but the menu is extensive and the food looks amazing. Good selection of beers and ales.
d. h.
Food was as you expect from a chain like this (average) , has some good beers and lagers and the service was very good, but the toilets were awful. Too much hassle paying for parking then having to ask to have it refunded do shan't be visiting in the day time ( before 5pm,)
P. W.
For a pub in the centre of a new estate, this place is surprisingly characterful, with a lively, friendly buzz and very well kept. Great larger, beer and cider selection. Has bouncers on the weekend. Quite a surprise bearing in mind where it is.
S. B.
Great location to meet up with local family/ friends . Pleasantly decorated ,and clean surroundings which add confidence to those wishing to partake of a good meal at an affordable price !
Staff are friendly and keen to meet the needs of customers politely and efficiently .
All in all , a great place to meet up and enjoy good company good food and a wide choice of beverages !

Having just sung through carols in the light of candles I have to say I was in the need of a little light laryngeal-lubrication and my better half suggested The Stokers (aka The Magpies if you're a local). I held my tongue and our party entered the lounge looking for a place to sit. The atmosphere was comparable to a football match. In the 70s. At the height of The Football Factory (J King's amazing little volume). We did an about-turn and (I kid you not) we were jeered out. I gave them a friendly wave of course. I needed some placation so suggested the ever-dependent Brooks. A short drive later we installed ourselves in a cosy corner and quite literally marvelled at the difference in atmosphere and attitude of the locals. When I first moved South I used to say I could tell the difference in dialect between someone from Willenhall and Bentley (approx the same distance separates here and Little Stoke) and I used to get furrowed brows off people who still couldn't work out I wasn't a Brummie. The same still applies 40 years later but I'd add that I missed the subtlety of how you behave when you're three sheets to the wind in your local (I guess something I had less experience of when I was teenager roaming the West Mids being refused admission in the days before fake id and alcopops). The Brook's regulars are young but legal - mostly drawing from BS that's young itself. Beer was good, service fast and the place was packed. We left before the quiz started but the party-feel was good natured and relaxed. Nuff said.
K. L.
Excellent service and a nice pint. Great company and a nice chilled out evening in a warm atmosphere.
J. M.
Good pub, one of the chains called Ember Inns, has some good set menu options to make your food cheaper with some very good choices. Staff friendly, nice patio area to sit out in the sun.Couple of Tvs showing sports. Get's very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. There is parking which states you have to pay, but you can refund your ticket when you purchase food/drink inside the pub.
S. D.
Good range of drinks. Good selection of food at very reasonable prices. Yet to have a disappointing meal. Pity that the outdoor setting is next to a busy road, but can't think of any other flaws.
A. F.
Excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Its a friendly pub and I have never had a bad meal.Peter the manager is also a no nonsense chap with a good heart.
K.
Beth was very friendly when we entered the pub she made us feel at home and gave me and my mate the greatest experience at a pub ever. She will be the future general manager.
P. B.
Good Atmosphere. Friendly Staff and excellent food.
c. j.
It's alright especially in the summer . When u can sit outside . The patio could do with a blast with an industrial blaster . All the fat ends bottles and cans taken out the bushes . Good selection a beer food ok . On the whole . Good pub
P. L.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
A. C.
BEWARE of the parking situation, make sure you add your details on the system at the bar or face a hefty fine as my family did. Other than this there is good food and company, it is family friendly.
K. J.
Nice host, but we got to the wrong place, and felt bad that we had made a booking else where, so we left and went to the booked table, 😊
L. H.
Far food for the price.
Very weak coffee see the bottom of cup.
In the ladies toilet, urine all over seat and floor.
Not pubs fault but customer very entertaining.
M. “. W.
Nice restaurant. Table service not really their thing. They ran out of 2 different desserts we asked for.
Food was pleasant. Dhansak curry was really nice.
L. C.
Took a age to get served at bar!
Ended up Down loading the app to place food order...
d. M.
Would not recommend the breaded mushrooms or the fish and chips. Batter greasy fish watery. Could do with a few more waiting staff. Service slow.
R. J.
The pub is nice, servers food and beer's/largers. My only gripe is when they kick out and all the pissed people end up having sex on my wall or smashing things as they walk home. Would love to also knock there childrens windows at 12pm at night!! .....
R. S.
Very good pub for drinks and food.
Had food here multiple times and it's been excellent.
Sunday dinners are also very good.
A. W.
Lots os space. Friendly staff. Good selection of drinks.
A. G. U.
Very friendly staff and the food was excellent
J. R.
Lovely pub but has it's problems, the men's toilets often stink and flood, they decide to fix the outdoor heaters in the hot weather not the cold (strange) food is good good choice of drink good offer on the app for this pub defo worth a try!
m. j.
Very nice day time meal with family.....the lady at the till had a few issues (no till receipt etc) but overcame them with a smile... the meals and drinks were very acceptable and service very good
D. H.
Needs some interior TLC. 2nd time we have had a meal and it's the second time it's gone back. Not the usual standard.
S. W. (. B.
The food was delicious.
P. C.
Great beer, service a little slow but understandable in the circumstances 👍
K. P.
Good value with a good range of choice. Nice & busy because we found other places nearby stopped serving food early!

Polite and friendly staff, quiet and relaxed during the day and lively yet friendly on an evening, lots of events such as live music and quiz nights. Definitely worth a try

Great Japanese food, excellent service and a casual relaxed atmosphere all at a very competitive price, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
A. S.
Make sure if you're using the car park that you register your car using the iPad at the bar. Otherwise you get a £50 fine in the post a few weeks later.
M. R.

K. F.
Great menu, with plenty of choice at a good price. Staff are really pleasant and helpful and the garden area was really tidy
N.
It could do with a bit more atmosphere and outdoor seating (maybe get rid of the smoking area?) Could also do with a revamp...
N. K.
The food was excellent, reasonably priced and delivered promptly. The staff were pleasant and attentive and the surroundings pleasant.
s. r.

On the Cask Marque Ale Trail and the beer passes admirably. Plenty of TV screens – the place undoubtedly crowded on ball game days
H. C.
Handy for meeting a mate who lives close, just be careful if you are driving here, you must enter your reg noon the terminal at the bar or you will get a fine/charge
