Large pub within Aspects Leisure Park. Good drinks and food selection available including a very nice daily carvery. Also a large kid's soft play area for the younger ones. Many food outlets, a bowling alley, gyms, swimming pool and cinema within a minute's walk. Very reasonably priced food and friendly, helpful staff. Booking advisable.

Had 2 carverys (1 vegetarian 1 meat), as only one chef in so all were doing on day. That was fine all looked great and tasted great at time of eating. Unfortunately meat eater had upset tummy the same day (may not been related as my meat free one was ok). Cheaper than Toby Carvery an choice small medium large plates.

Friendly helpful staff. I have reviewed my original review of the Wishing well, and from 1 star have upped to 5 stars. Today I ordered a Carvery that was absolutely delicious, plenty of choice and hot. The staff were extremely busy but all had smiles. Nothing was too much trouble, the girls Stacey and Louise(sorry if I have the wrong name lady with short blonde hair) were very efficient. Steve and Nick were great, friendly and ensuring customers were happy. Will visit again

Unable to book online as said fully booked even for the following week, I phoned on the off chance and managed to book a table for 5. We were very pleased with the carvery, great value for money, plenty of veg and potatoes, the gravy was also very tasty, had to wait a while for our ticket to go to the carvery but understandable as food was very fresh and a choice of 3 meats. Wine was very good too! Although my son's glass had lipstick around the rim, a little concerning especially with covid, we returned the glass to the bar and a clean one was provided. Will definitely return and recommend.

Cheap and cheerful pub. Family friendly as they have a big kids play area, but this is completely separate from the main dining and drinking area if you're heading down with friends or as a couple. They have a huge variety of starters and mains at a reasonable price, as well as a daily carvery!

First time we have had a carvery here and it was superb. The best carvery we have had for a very long time. I booked the table over the phone as the online booking said no availability but Jess sorted that out and I bought the birthday cake over to them and they put in the fridge for us to have after the meal. Excellent service from the staff and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Last minute family Sunday lunch. We never booked and thought it would be very busy but there were a few cancellations and we were given a table. 3 large carvery and 1 child meal of sausage and chips. Meals were genuinely large and we could have gone smaller. Everything on our plates was cooked well and tasty. I didn't like the roast potatoes, they tasted like frozen "Aunt B" Friendly, efficient and helpful staff members. We will come again.

Absolutely fantastic in every aspect! 100% recommend and coming back on a regular basis now! On mother's day didn't book a table just showed up and the floor manager found a reserved table for us that we could have for 2 hours! The staff were kind and friendly and cheerful and just nice to talk to, the service was brilliant and professional! My family felt so welcomed and taken care of! The food was fantastic whole table had different meals and each one was delicious and simply top notch! I booked a table and requested a 4top in a quiet area as my meal was a business one, but got a two top in a busy area. The carvery had ram out of meat , except turkey, which I did not like do had to choose from main menu, but really went for the carvery. I did explain this to the staff and told them my concerns they were apologetic , the manager did speak to me himself and apologised and did sort me out when it come to the bill which was unexpected but a nice gesture...despite all this the food was good ,came quick staff friendly ambience good. I would of given it 3stars but as I was well looked after by the manager I gave it 4. I would recommend it ...great place good experience.

Great place for a meal, specially after bowling. Go for the carvery, the food is well cooked and cared for, the chap who served us was a delightful fellow, and chatty, and the whole experience was amazing. We visited here to eat before going to the cinema. It was very busy and we had to wait 45 minutes for menu food to be served. Prices are good and meals are very similar to the hungry horse. Good food, great looking carvery, good prices. Staff were friendly and seemed to work well under the pressure of a Saturday night. Would definitely come here to eat again. Food was delicious.

Superb friendly service from all! First time we’ve been here again since lockdown and the first time out to a pub as well since. Staff implemented COVID safety rules very well and very helpful. Always came in here for a drink before or after a film, but first time eaten here. Food and choice was excellent! Very good veggie selection. Many thanks to the friendly staff.

Lovely carvery as usual. Loads of different vegetables. Only Turkey on offer meat wise, bit of a shame as only between 12.30 - 13.00hrs. Expected a choice on their lunchtime carvery, didn't really get an explanation why just the one meat. Apart from that though, staff lovely and friendly and helpful.

Visited for the first time not long after the refurbishment and I will not hesitate to go back. The carvery was delicious, perfectly cooked veg with a great choice. The staff we all friendly and helpful. I was disappointed to not see peas as a choice of veg but apparently they don't include them on a carvery and they would have benefited from another member of staff behind the bar whilst they get used to the new system.

Visited at 7.00pm on bank holiday Monday, unfortunately the carvery was closed as they had run out. My food was delicious, lasagne and salad, my partner not impressed with his fish and dried up mushy peas. When we arrived the bar was covered in glasses, and many of the tables hadn't been cleared, some of the tables were still waiting to be cleared when we left at around 9.30pm and our dinner plates were still in front of us when our dessert was brought out. All in all, an 'ok' place, reasonably priced.

The only complaint was that one of our party had to send their pie back because it was cold in the middle, but that was dealt with in a timely manner. Altogether, not bad!

Came here for my daughters birthday. Staff were really accommodating with the cake etc (I had 2!). Good selection of drinks except for lager- no Kronenberg. Food is excellent value for money, 2 for £9 Mon-Fri ALL DAY! Plus kids eat for £1-£1.50 after 3pm. 12 of us ate for less than £45. This is a fayre & square chain, but is nicer than other places in this chain.

This has a soft play which is where one of my mates' daughters fifth birthday celebrated and kids went bonkers, not disappointed in any aspect. Very conveniently located in the Aspects Leisure Park. Very helpful staff, flexible on the two-hour slot timing. Unlike other cramped up soft plays, this one is a nice clean environment with so much natural light and air. The food standard could be raised up a notch and the coffee is from a vending machine and that is why the four stars. Though they have their own dedicated parking, it is a bit tricky. All other amenities are in the vicinity or a stone throw away and you could make a trip while you are there and cover up some household chores. Visiting again and again for sure.

We had to wait over 30 mins for our food which I suppose isn't bad on a lunchtime but it was a quiet Monday. My husband and I both had the piri piri chicken burger which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Huge portion with a couple of sides. We had a kid's meal for our daughter which was fine for the money too. We hoped to go into the wacky warehouse afterwards but there was a big queue and was looked so busy it out us off.

We had booked our sons 2nd birthday party in the wacky warehouse at this restaurant. The staff were polite and attentive. A child who wasnt with our party was unwell and had an accident on the slider causing the softplay to close for a thorough clean. I panicked not knowing what I was now going to do with 15 children standing there looking disappointed. But the team were brilliant! The manager came to me and couldn't apologise enough, he promised to still give my son a great party. We were taken through to the function room where they bought out lots of activities and games for the children to do! My deposit was returned and the outstanding balance cleared. The staff were fab interacting with the children and doing everything they could to keep us all happy. Unlimited juice, yummy food and even drinks and food for us adults! Thankfully it all turnt out to be ok and the children had a brilliant time all thanks to the team! Especially Nick, Gee, Steve, Dawn & Natasha! Thank you all so much x
