We popped in today for some lunch unplanned. The staff were very welcoming and friendly as we have also found in the past. My husband and I had 2 Sunday lunches which were delicious, (full disclosure, he finished mine off as I was full). My daughters both chose the chicken n mix and my brother had a burger. All lovely. All ways happy to visit.

Went for a meal here the other evening, booked a table. For being a Saturday night it wasn't overly busy but rather loud so we couldn't speak much across the table. Had the build your own burgers which was very nice and at a good price!

Great pub to go after work , Damion and Laura are always welcoming so are their staff always know what me and my misses want to drink. Also the food is great and great kids menu as well. Service was excellent, good distancing measures in place and food was good value even before the mid week reductions. Update: since covid ended the pub has returned to normal, and still provides excellent service, a good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We don't live near but are in Filton & Bradley Stoke but we pop in frequently on Saturday lunchtimes and have meals from the 2 for menu and have the spare meal between the three of us. I expect Damion knows who we are. We are Dad and 2 sons. Lovely food and drink in here at good prices

I have had many meals in this pub. The customer service, cleanliness and food is absolutely amazing. When two can dine for £9.49 even on a Sunday makes it amazing value too. All staff are polite and friendly.

Really good experience tonight. Given the new normal, they are trying to take as much care with the patrons as possible. As we weren't eating, we were seated outside for the majority of the evening but that was sort of ok. table service was friendly and reasonably fast. I would have given 5 stars but I'm not a smoker and having to sit with them wasn't the best experience. However was really nice to be back out in a pub after the last few months

Very quick and warm welcome from the friendly helpful landlord. A very good and necessary explanation of the excellent covid rules in place. Choice of seating given and table service. The steak was pretty good, burger was rather plain, chocolate fudge cake was a nice treat. If you order lemonade, expect sprite/7up not an actual lemonade. Generally it was nice and everyone was friendly, the staff are lovely and helpful.

Great atmosphere! Although the place was quite big it felt very cosy. Next to that there were high chairs available which meant we could enjoy a family dinner. Food itself was also good : portions were large and flavorful. All in all, would go again next time I'm in Bristol.

Absolutely fantastic pub full of really friendly staff and people. The food is served on time and realy good. The beers are served in good nick and at the correct temperature. Lovely sunny garden. If you are on your own it's not long before you are having a really good chat with someone. Credit to the management. Sports are shown but not loudly. I love it and will be going back again soon.

A lovely Mothers Day Starter, Roast and dessert. All cooked to perfectipn. Table laid with chocs and flowers. We went early evening it was still busy but table had been booked and was ready for us. Staff very friendly and helpful. This has become a regular place to eat and drink due to good food, management and staff being friendly and helpful . Very good value

Decent pub has a MINI hungry horse/Wetherspoons feel to it. One barmaid is not all there always making mistakes bless her. I was highly embarrased on my works xmas do, upon receipt of my alcoholic beverage I asked for the tab for our do, point blank said no there isn't one, embarrassed, I paid.....only to find back at table that others getting their drinks on our works tab. What a joke! If it wasn't for this it would've been 5 stars.
