The place is lively, their staff is friendly and helpful, and definitely a great place to drink with you football craze lads. However the place is not clean, the floor near the bar is sticky, the bar top is sticky, even some of the glass is cracked and potentially be broke on any moment. The drinks are good, they offer good brew with reasonable price, but the food tho... While the taste is good, the price is not justified. So if you go here, just order pint of beer and enjoy the weekend games 👍

Good vibe, lively music and pretty much guaranteed to have a screen dedicated to your chosen sporting requirement (and of course absolutely guaranteed if it involves an Ozzy team). Only downside is the beer (as in non-lager) options are a little disappointing.

Lots of space and a variety of seating areas. Masses of screens displaying a variety of live sports. Booked a table and got a booth by the window. Comfortable seating and good position. Even has a large projector screen nearer the back of the bar. A fair bar bood menu and plenty of variety of pints, pitchers and spirits. Service was fairly consistent even diring busy periods. A decent place to start amd even to end up or just stay and enjoy the evening. Great location along Corn Street. Have frequented many a time and will many more for sure.

Spent a weekend in Bristol and decided to visit this spot with the lads. Excellent service and plenty sport on display. Mayo were playing that weekend and we couldn’t find a bar in town that was showing the match until we rocked up here. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very professional, friendly and helpful not to mention the pint of Guinness was 11/10. One of the lads behind the bar was an Irish lad, took great care of us and made us feel extremely welcome. 100% recommend this bar and will certainly return there next time we’re in Bristol, thanks Joe for looking after us.

Huge bar, the cricket was on when I walked in. It was a Monday late afternoon so more or less empty but huge amount of screens and one giant projector screen looks like somewhere great to watch live sport. Some good deals on drinks and genuine aussie beer and food. Chicken parmigiana was okay but as you'd expect. Place is done nicely and located very close to the lovely st Nicholas markets

Good tv spread for watching the football although volume could be louder. Understand why they limit the menu on match day but a few more options would be great including dessert. Don’t bother with the 10 pint pour your own buckets. They leak all over the table. Good app ordering system abs fast service. Went here with some friends to watch the rugby, amazing atmosphere, lush food and good prices all round. Staff were extremely friendly and very quick service! I Visit walkabout quite often as i Like to watch live sport. The Staff are great and if i want to watch something specific, they are always happy to go that extra mile. Aliina , one of the Bar staff there is incredible. She recommended a differt style shandy that i'd never tried before ( Thatchers with lemonade), as well as get me a booth where i could work on my laptop as well as watch the Grand Prix. Aliina is very friendly, approachable, chatty and makes you feel very welcome. All the staff are great, just I happened to be served by Aliina each time and she made my visit very memorable.

Stopped in her to meet a friend. Had a drink. Seemed a lot better than the Walkabouts of old, though they didn't do the two for one offers that they used to be famous for. They were showing mid week lower league footbal which was nice. Plenty of screens, so would assume it's a prime spot for big games.

If you want a sports bar with a good atmosphere you won’t get better. Always know what you’re going to get from walkabout. Especially good on champions league nights and recently watched the Bellew fight. £5 entry for the fight but was worth it in the end. Some may not be happy paying that. Normal drinks prices. Simply the best pub for watching sports in Bristol, with plenty of TVs everywhere inside... Very well located in the center, a large range of good and cheap drinks, with a lot of discounts during the week. And the food is pretty tasty as well! All of that with a nice Australian atmosphere, a fast and friendly staff, and now, a nice club upstairs to finish perfectly an evening already well started... Don't hesitate and give it a try!

I've only been to going on Tuesdays and there's absolutely nothing I would change about it. The great music and the atmosphere accompanied by a large bar for fast service with good prices. Tip: If you buy 6 jagerbombs as a pack you get them from less than the price of 5, so make sure you use that with your friends. ;)

If you are a fan of football, this is definitely the place you need to go in Bristol. Huge space plenty of screens transmitting several matches: you cannot miss your favorite team playing. During champions league legs it gets crowded soon, so be sure to arrive early and get a seat if you are planning to have dinner.

Booked a table online here for the Superbowl - turned up about 9.45pm and they showed us straight to the table. Great table sat in front of a enormous projector - £80 to reserve table and that was added to our bar tab. Good drinks deals such as £10 jugs of lager although food deals weren't great considering it was the SB! Show me more chicken wings! Atmosphere was bumping and staff were friendly. Table service was pretty poor though but think that they were stretched during the event. Would have no problems going back.

I love Walkabout!! They offer really cheap cocktails, have a great authentic atmosphere and have really helpful, laidback staff. Go here all the time with my friends and plan on going back many times! Food is really good too, and the offer plenty of deals throughout the week in order to get cheaper food, so very much advise checking the website first!

After paying to get in had a long queue for the bar. Downstairs the floor was so sticky it took great effort to pull my feet off - no good for dancing unless you don't move your feet - the worst I've seen. The music downstairs is all modern pop and fairly predictable. Upstairs the floor was better which was fine as long as your music style is retro - very retro! We went on St Patrick's and they'd run out of Guiness by the time we arrived which strikes me as poor planning. In the end though the group I was with had a good night - mainly the result of alcohol and the opportunity to dance - so as long as your expectations aren't too high and you have a good group of friends, you can have fun here!

Walkabout - a great value sports bar. They also have a five quid menu for a pint and a meal (all included -bargain). You aren't beating that kind of deal. The only bad part about the menu is the fact they insist on invading my plate with a small piece of melon.I suppose the saving grace is at least its not a radish. But whatyagonnado they are Aussies after all.

On a return to Bristol (my University city) I nipped in here to catch the back end of the football and was pleasantly surprised by the new Walkabout. It has been refitted to a decent standard, it looks good inside with a decent vibe and good mix of clientele. Vast improvement on the dark, sticky floored, fighty place I remember.
