Busy, noisy and slow service. We waited a good half hour for our food. Wait staff were very pleasant and food delicious. It was a Saturday night so that may explain. Will definitely go there again.

Good local pub, always a good atmosphere, great choice of drinks and menu looks good although on this visit I didn't have any, do cannot comment. Have large screen for sports events and plenty of outdoor seating.

A cosy and classic pub. Very large inside and plenty of seating outside. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good social distancing measures in place. Very clean and tidy. Tables well spaced out. A quiet pub, which is nice to have a quiet chat, with not having to struggle to talk over loud music. Decor inside is nice. Will definitely visit again.

I had the take away Sunday lunch .It was absolutely fantastic ! Such a treat . It was a delicious perfectly cooked generous plate of food.I had the beef which was perfect and came with a great selection of lovely sides of roasted potatoes,parsnip,carrots ,soft sweet onion and red cabbage .oh and the Yorkshire pudding that should have a special mention. The portion of cauliflower cheese felt like an added bonus and in truth meal in itself .It all came with gravy and horse radish sauce . I recommend anyone to take advantage of this lockdown treat and at £12 an absolute bargain with washing up.

It’s a bit hit and miss here. I really don’t recommend the food but then again that’s not news. If you fancy a drink in this area then it’s not a bad place to spend an evening. The most noticeable feature of the place is the architecture - a massive internal structure with a notable absence of support walls. The staff are a bit strange.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here. Outdoor seating is great addition with the heaters. Only downside is the stated time for when meals are being served. So make sure you check this beforehand if your planning to eat here.

Our first visit and we were both impressed with this pub. Good beer choice, mine was Timothy Taylor's Landlord (can't go wrong with this one). We both had the Westbury Park burger which not only came quickly (and it seemed a busy evening) it also tasted delicious and hit the spot. My minor gripe would be, too much rocket and lettuce. It was a mild evening so we sat outside and they have dedicated, covered booths for up to 6/8 people as well as picnic tables (also covered, by umbrellas). Well placed with plenty of parking available and a cinema opposite if you fancy a drink and/or food beforehand.

Wonderful food, friendly staff and great atmosphere - just all around great! Edit May 2022 - visited again today and sadly no longer the pub it used to be. Food took a long time to arrive (8pm on a Tuesday) and didn’t blow us away for how long we waited. Fries were nice and crispy but the burger was nearly inedible (gave hubby and I indigestion) and no onion rings?! Brownie had a bizarre texture too, more like fondant than brownie. The furniture is tattered and old looking in places and flowers are half dead in their vases. Staff are pleasant enough but will only visit for drinks in future.

Went to this pub by chance as we were visiting our son in Bristol and we wanted something to keep us going for the day and what a great chance we got. Simple dishes but made extraordinary! Burger and chips for me and fish and chips for my wife. Fantastic flavours and the food looked and tasted amazing!!! Shame we did not have enough time to stay for dessert as I am sure it would have been equally good. Door person/supervisor? Was very courteous and the staff was attentive. All in all a lovely meal and above our expectations for a pub. Definitely worth visiting again another time when we actually have more time to enjoy it.

We had lunch at the pub a few weeks ago for the first time. The atmosphere Inside was good and very specious with plenty of tables and comfortable seats. The menu was good for weekend lunch and the food and dessert were delicious! Staff were very friendly and attentive. We were happy and will definitely come back!

Glad to see the old place popularised again. Ive always liked the spacious layout, so well done to the management and staff for working hard to turn it around. Westbury Park is a wonderful local pub. Many pubs are are quite grotty during the evening's but Westbury Park is always clean and well lit. They run a pub quiz once a week and it always seems to attract a large number of teams. The bar staff are friendly and the food is really great pub grub. Nothing overly fancy, but nothing drips with grease either. They also several mid week food offers which make for great value. There is also a sizable outdoor area around the front which is lovely during the summer with plenty of shady spots.

This is a gem of a pub. The food is one of the best examples of great food and amazing pizzas (1000% recommend the pizza) that I have enjoyed, which is matched by the outstanding service. I will certainly return, this is an absolute must for genuine foodies and for that pub feel 😍

I remember this pub as the Cock o’ The North, visited for the first time with for a quick pizza before the cinema and was suitably impressed. It’s not a gourmet gastropub, but still reasonably good quality, if not a little overpriced given the standard. Service was friendly and attentive on a relatively busy sunny Monday evening, with plenty of atmosphere inside and out. This is a family friendly pub with a good choice of premium drinks.

Nice interesting pub. Its not near any other pubs so is quite a popular upmarket local restaurant/pub. The fact that its circular is quite cool. The bar has a nice upmarket decor. Inside seating is comfortable and so is the outside seating area. Prices are reasonable, food is supposed to be nice as well. it has a car park.

Lovely place, I meet up with friends semi regularly for a drink. Had food here once, it was very nice but there was a bit of a wait. I suspect it was bad timing on our part for as there was 2 big groups at the same time but some heads up by the staff or a time estimate would have been nice.

The Westbury Park is one of our firm favourites in Bristol. The food is always superb. It’s fresh and seasonal and cooked to perfection. The staff are personable and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Plus, the cocktails are pretty damn good.

Heard it is dog friendly so visited on a Thursday evening for food. There are a few parking spaces in their car park but all were taken. There's quite a bit of street parking available as an alternative. The pub was very busy and loud, mostly filled with families and couples. They have table service for people eating in and all the staff were lovely. Plenty of bar staff so no long waits for drinks but we did have to wait about 45mins for food. Having said that, the burgers we ordered were amazing and we were offered free nibbles to keep us going while we waited as they knew the wait was long. A bit loud, busy and long wait for food but also great food, great service, dog friendly. Hope they can improve the kitchen so food comes out quicker but we willill be back again on a quieter evening.

After a wonderful renovation this pub is my new local in Henleze. It looks great and is now an open and welcoming place to be, I love it and the area really needed it!! I have been here a few times since it opened two weeks ago, once for a quick drink in the new front garden. Once for Friday night dinner of Lobster and fries which was brilliant might I add and one extremely great Sunday Lunch, one of the best Roasts I have had in Bristol for sure. The staff have been super friendly on all occasions and the service has been efficient and with a big smile, the staff seem as excited about the place as the locals. I will be back, again and again.

Nice looking pub.. There were a few issues that myself and family felt spoiled our experience. We popped in the after a wet day at the balloon fiesta looking to have a drink and something to eat. We chose a table that was free and ordered our drinks. We chatted amongst ourselves and were enjoying our drinks while watching meals being served to people on surrounding tables. They looked very nice especially the onion rings. After going tothe bar to get another round of drinks and going back to our table to take everyone's order a member of staff comes along and puts a reserved sign on our table. Bearing in mind we has sat at that table for almost 40/45 mins. It felt like we were being told to leave. There were other tables that were free in there. Surely the reserved sign could have been put on one of those or the young girl could have spoken to us and explained that they had a booking for this particular table. But no, she slapped the sign on and walked off regardless that the four of us were looking to order food. How very rude. Is this the policy of the place? The decor of the place was very nice, parking a bit tricky and drinks were of an average price. Shame we couldn't have sampled the food and enjoyed our experience. For this reason I've given it 3 stars and wouldn't return.

Came all the way from Australia to visit last year as im a fan of The Young Ones. The lady with a red & white striped shirt served me at the bar & seated us for food. Nice pub in handy location between north view and henleaze high street. Pricey, but not exceptionally for its location. Nice wine and prosecco. There was a large variety of beers but we didn't sample. There is a large TV where live sports shows are often shown, however, it is possible to sit so that you can't see the TV.

Visited Friday at 5.30...every single empty table had " reserved" from a range of 6.00 to 8.00pm. We took a table with a 2 hr period before " the reservation" and then decided we wanted food. The waiter bordered on rude when we asked to order food. His response was "oh you arent the reservation" . We responded dont worry we will be gone within the 2 hrs before the "reservation'" is due. To which the reply was that "should" be ok. Zazu need to decide are they a pub or a restaurant. Perhaps as it is a pub...only allow table reservations in a set area rather than the entire pub on an early friday eve so locals can feel welcome in the pub or basically you now need to book to visit a pub as interestingly we noticed (as we vacated the table by the reserved time and stayed on in the bar area until about 9pm) that some of the reserved tables werent even eating...drinking only! We did no harm using a table almost 2 hrs before it was "reserved" but were made to feel like an inconvenience for doing so and wanting to hand over some money to eat and have a couple of drinks! Generally though staff in here are friendly and service is usually good so disappointed at this visit.

Recently renovated and I'm a big fan. We had some really tasty stone baked pizzas, the staff were friendly, great beer, AND they show sports/ rugby at one end of the pub.👌

Pub with no TV. Unusual, but much appreciated. Not just by me, but by the fair number of customers it has attracted. I saw one dad playing chess with his his nine year old son whilst his daughter was playing with an old typewriter which is there for children to play with together with plenty of other toys and games.

(Translated) Visited today for lunch. It was midday on a weekday, so there weren't many people eating there. I ordered fish and chips for lunch. The fish was crispy, well fried and delicious. However, the chips felt a little dry and hard. In addition, it was nice to have sauces such as ketchup, mayonnaise, and vinegar separately. However, it took a while to wait for the staff to order or pay for the menu, and when I asked for the bill, the staff forgot and took one star off. (Original) 오늘 점심식사를 하러 방문했습니다. 평일 낮시간이라서 그런지 식사하는 사람이 많지 않았습니다. 점식식사로 피쉬엔칩스를 주문했습니다. 피쉬는 바삭하게 잘 튀겨져서 맛있었습니다. 다만 칩스는 조금 드라이하면서 딱딱하게 느껴졌습니다. 추가적으로 케첩, 마요네즈, 식초와 같은 소스도 따로 나와서 좋았습니다. 다만 메뉴를 주문하거나 계산을 하기위해 직원분을 기다리는데 시간이 걸렸고, 계산서를 요청했을때 직원분이 잊어서 별하나를 뺐습니다.
