J.Brilliant service from the door to the bar, Door staff were very professional, kind and made our group feel very welcome.
Max at the front seated us where it was warm and we had no complaints.
Tall gent I believe his name was Gabriel like the Angel and what an Angel he was, He was very quick and efficient with our drinks just like the doctor ordered. Overall great service 10/10
N. B.It was myself and my partner's first time here, welcomed by security and tried the drink called Matt the Rat. Paid those 2 drink for 1 price as it was happy hour and very enjoyable. Drinks were done by bartenders as they worked like rolling machine. 👌👌

Table expired at 3:30 and the lovely Jasmine managed to find us another one rather than leave. Could recommend her professionalism highly enough. It’s great when some goes above and beyond.
We stayed till around 6 pm which was more than enough for is “oldies”. 🤣🤣😂😳.

G. T.My husband and I availed ourselves of the 2-for-1 cocktails Happy Hour here on a Froday night. The cocktail menu was one of the most wide-ranging I've seen at any of the dozens of cocktail bars I've frequented - something to suit all tastes. The decor is very warm and welcoming. Plenty of seating but also lots of space to get your groove on. The music was your typical teeny-bopper pop classics - great stuff, particularly when you're inebriated ;-) I believe entry is free until 9pm and Happy Hour ends at the same time.

D.Always great cocktails and bar staff are really friendly, great place for a cheeky few drinks pre soho. However, the door staff are always rude. The first question when you approach the door is “have you booked” making you think you aren’t welcome if you haven’t, in fact you’ll struggle to find anywhere to sit if you haven’t, We usually stand at the bar. Then the security guard is dead set on id’ing everyone even though we are 30+! Wouldn’t mind if he asked in a nice way but comes across very aggressive.

A.Bit meh. First time I've been back post lockdown (used to come here all the time), first cocktail tried was.. Oh My Days. A horrid, cheap tasting flavour combination (whiskey/ thin coffee liqueur).
The table booking deposit can only be redeemed against (now overpriced) drinks - we paid £25 for a table of four - which definitely wouldn't suit everyone. Our table booking hasn't been put through; after being directed to a random table by the bar we moved to a quieter area which similarly didn't have a "booked" tag on it. Got approached by a waitress 10 minutes later to move us back because this table was also booked, go figure..
If you plan to spend in the vicinity of £10, head to Dead Canary/ Pennyroyal. Tons more personalised and creative cocktail experience.
p.s. The bouncers were really nice, I added a star for that.

If your idea of a good night is over-priced drinks in a bar attempting to be much classier than it's denizens then you're in the right place.
As with a lot of places in Cardiff it's filled with the usual "sesh" types who at this point look like standard extras in any bar/club you go to. Only this time not only do you have to contend with the average Cardiff commoner NPC you also have to break the bank to purchase a drink.
Don't get me wrong, if you want to go and have one round and head home then maybe this bar will work for you, but if you're out all night you can find a more lively, cheaper venue somewhere around the corner or even across the road.
Sadly, this cocktail bar is too generic to justify its pricing.
D. F.We had a great night here for a friend’s birthday. It had good music with a nice busy vibe. The cocktails were lovely but the drinks here are quite expensive and the service was quite slow - don’t expect a short wait at the bar!!

Nous étions venus l'année dernière et l'expérience était meilleure. Les cocktails étaient présentés dans un livre en fonction des sensations que nous voulions. Cette année ils sont présentés en fonction de l'alcool utilisé. De plus, l'année dernière ils étaient joliment présentés dans de jolis verre un peu décorés, un minimum quand on voit le prix du verre.
